Producers find AMS360 incredibly valuable as it provides instant access to client information, enabling them to efficiently service and retain clients. Additionally, the platform facilitates the submission of new and existing accounts to marketing departments seamlessly.

One of the standout features of AMS360 is its ability to download policy and claim information from most standard insurance carriers, enabling users to quickly access important data. Moreover, for non-standard and E&S carrier policies, AMS360 allows for easy attachment to client accounts. The software also drives commercial lines sales in specific niche markets by providing a platform for inputting initial information and attaching carrier supplemental apps. Beyond sales and service, AMS360 doubles as an agency management system, facilitating document storage alongside insurance activities. While some users initially found its interface different from other systems, they quickly adapted to its navigation and found it easy to update information accordingly.

We currently acquire smaller agencies and convert all agencies to AMS360, ImageRight, and BenefitPoint. I train agencies that come through the conversion process to transfer workflows and procedures from all other management systems into AMS360. It's a great platform, my favorite among other management systems, and I have worked on Epic, TAM, HawkSoft, Sagitta, etc. It is a great solution for account management, and it's a scalable solution that manages to meet the needs of agencies, both big and small.

Vertafore is working towards a unified look/feel, which will only solidify the need to work with any/all of their products.

  • Great investment to ensure all our agencies are on the same platform, and we trust that it will come through when we have insurance needs.
  • A little pricier than some other options but more inclusive of additional services that make it worth the price.
We acquire agencies with a long list of different management systems; after vetting the systems we currently utilize within our agencies, AMS360 came out on top as the most inclusive program set. Vertafore products are really rounding out their set of systems that really create this cohesive platform of solutions that we have come to trust and rely on.

This is by far the most robust agency management system I have used that works for all sizes of agencies. Others have better options here or there, but they are highly customized for a specific type of agency. AMS360 is a one size fits all type of solution, and it works well for us.

I use AMS360 as my agency management system. Insurance sales, service, and document storage are all done using this system. I have also begun to use AMS360 as my accounting and reconciliation software for my agency. I will be transitioning from QuickBooks to AMS360 completely within 2 to 3 years.

AMS360 is well suited for my agency as they have multi-user capability. They have a simple policy add process, and the organization and storage of accounts and documents are good. I find reports difficult to run for certain tasks. I believe the report feature can be simplified to a quick run feature.

Both systems are similar in terms of management capabilities. We went with AMS360 as it better fit my group as a whole. I do think that reports were much more easily run in Applied than AMS360. I hadn't used Applied for accounting, but it seems the AMS360 is a little cumbersome for accounting procedures.

There are definitely endless possibilities with ams360. Its easy scalable to add departments

We started using AMS360 just 6 months back when our new client was using AMS360 for their agency. I have been a HawkSoft user for 8+ years. When I started learning AMS360, it was a different experience for me, compared to HawkSoft. Learning basic things like viewing/updating information for a customer was a piece of cake due to the easy to use interface offered by the system. However, activities like attaching files to client or policy, or creating an activity (also called as suspense), took some time to figure it out. But customer support and help guides came to the rescue. Now, after more than 6 months of using the system daily, I can say I've gotten used to it. Though AMS360's interface seems like a different species compared to HawkSoft's UI, once you get used to it, it kinda grows on you. All information like policy details, activities, and documents are easy to navigate and update. One of the best things about AMS360 is its seamless integration with PL Rating. All customer data can be exported to PL Rating for new submission in a single click. AMS360 is good software, but it could be better with better, more intuitive, and faster UI.

If you use PL Rating, AMS360 is highly recommended due to their seamless integration. Also, if you are looking for a system to use on the cloud, it is best. But if you are an offline user, then maybe it's not for you.

I have used HawkSoft for over 8 years, so we know their system like the back of my hand. I have been using AMS360 for over 6 months, so it's really not fair to compare both at this level of knowledge of AMS360. It's still a learning curve with AMS360. So far when we compare both, HawkSoft is a much superior, faster and advanced system.
