Apricot has allowed us to generate more powerful analytics to strengthen our arguments around increased community need and service utilization. Our ability to integrate data into powerful grant narratives has helped our organization stand out and secure new lines of funding. It has also helped us maintain and strengthen relationships with existing funders through our ability to report comprehensively on the impact of contributions on our programs and clients.

As previously mentioned, a lot of grants are focused on supporting those who live at or below the poverty level. With Apricot, I'm able to find that information and put it all together in an exported spreadsheet. Other grants are focused on the underserved, such as LGBTQI, veterans, the homeless, and those with disabilities. Apricot tracks that information as well.

Funders are increasingly funding with performance-based grants. Whether government or foundations, funders require better data on the application and have significantly more stringent performance expectations. We have been awarded the money multiple times after implementing Apricot than before, with the caveat mentioned in my response to the previous question.

We are able to collect any information we want. We can customize our forms. We can customize our reports. If funding sources have questions about specific demographics related to our clients we have access to that information at our fingertips.

We have been able to do our grant reporting incredibly efficiently and can track metrics through Apricot by Social Solutions that would have otherwise been very difficult to collect, analyze and report on.

We have just surpassed our first year of using Apricot. The data we have collected has not been specific enough to diversify our funding streams, but it has allowed us to incorporate new data sets that are inspired by donor requests and grant applications. As we build more robust data sets, I have no doubt our organization will be stronger applicants and be successful in securing funding when requested.

We have not been using Aprioct360 for a full year, however, we have already begun to build custom reports for key stakeholders, impact reports, and grants. We are able to provide accurate and verified quantitative numbers in a timely and consistent manner to the National Network for insights, analytics, impact, and stewardship leveraging. Our goal is to be able to decrease the turnaround time for the impact to be collected at the local level and have “real-time” numbers as accurate as possible.

I do not take part in that aspect of our company, so I am not privy to that specific knowledge. I assume it makes it very easy to present to potential funders how many people are helped within certain time frames and paints a very clear picture of how important and effective our services are for individuals.

Apricot has enabled our organization to more accurately and efficiently store county-specific and school district-specific data on our students served and services provided. This has allowed for real-time reporting (not just quarterly) of our impact in all areas of our work. Because of Apricot, we can more accurately track our initiatives and report on grants received for specific areas. It has also boosted our ability to provide crucial demographic data for both local and federal grant applications.

With such a detailed database we were able to create more detailed reports and queries to view the long term affects of our programs. With having been with Social Solutions for a long period our information can be better separated and viewed to see which services are providing the most affects so that we can invest more into similar programs. We can also view which neighborhoods are getting the most assistance to that we can have better tools in place for them in the future.
