To organize, measure and report on the analyst relations program. We use ARchitect to track interactions and measure sentiment. We use Event Manager to create agendas and we use projects to track Evals. Lastly we use ARchitect to create briefing docs and report on interactions with influential analysts that speak to our customers/prospects.
  • The Event Manager function is a great way plan, invite and send agendas to your analyst attendees.
  • Projects - although needing more work - is a great way to track progress during an evaluation.
  • Premium content is perfect for tracking mentions, sharing reports that are relevant to your constituents and reporting.
  • In projects, I'd like to see project status automatically triggered by a due date.
Any AR professional will find value in this tool - from interaction tracking through integration with g-suite or outlook, managing an analyst day or analyst event or collecting and delivering insights from analyst reports. The project capabilities are getting better, but if you do not use vendors like Click-Up to project manage, then it's better than a spreadsheet.

I have used ARInsights ARchitect to support both analyst relations and influencer relations programs. The users are in the AR or Influencer Relations team. It is used to support and effectively run outreach campaigns. The software is effectively the foundation on which the programs are run on and the scope of the programs is global in nature.
  • Building lists - its excellent
  • Provide details/biogs on analysts
  • Solid platform for email outreach
  • Ability to track interactions
  • Use of the finder feature is a little cumbersome
  • The email editor is better but still a little fiddly compared to the likes of Mailchimp
  • Adding in new contacts is a little tedious process
  • Removing analysts no longer with an organisation - in transit is a little onerous
It's great if you have a simple analyst program and you are not sure where to start. It's the perfect tool to get a set of tiered lists with key details up and running. You are able to track/map and measure activity really well so it's almost a no-brainer for an AR professional.

We use ARchitect to log, track and report interactions, discover and segment analysts audiences, build target lists, build coverage report, keep track of tasks and communicate with analysts via newsletters.
  • The analyst database is constantly enriched and a lifesaver.
  • Email newsletter functionality is excellent for tracking comms with analysts.
  • Premium content alerts are useful to get all coverage in one place.
  • We would like to see some project management functions to track RFI, log follow-up actions and assign tasks inside the team.
  • I'd be good to see email open state in the analyst interactions tab.
  • An easier way to report insights from interactions would be hugely useful.
ARInsights is really well suited for small teams. It is a significant investment for a single contributor but easily repaid in productivity. It also does work great when AR is outsourced to agencies.

Informatica uses ARchitect in a variety of ways to get time back in our busy days. Monthly reports which used to take four to five hours to generate, are now cranked out in 15 minutes after implementing Architect. ARchitect's ability to create custom fields for interactions means Informatica can track interactions easily by product, region, and analyst.

Informatica also makes regular use of ARchitect's feature to create custom analyst groups for our sprawling portfolio.

Informatica's products lend themselves to easy cross-sell and upsell, so being able to provide updates is made easy with ARchitect.

  • Flexible reporting
  • Analyst contact information and profiles
  • Responsive customer support
  • ARchitect is very flexible, can be used by small or large analyst relations departments.
  • Easy to use and key for institutional knowledge and reporting.

I use ARchitect to keep track of all interactions and to find new analysts. This information is then conveniently exported in a pie chart or via graph for our organization's quarterly business reviews.
  • Their staff is incredible to work with, as they know all the tricks to represent an AR program well using the reporting features.
  • Track interactions by product segment.
  • Track interactions by analyst firm.
  • Find bio information about analysts.
  • We get alerts when analysts join or leave a firm.
The combination of graphically representing my program via firms, product segments being represented, and their customer support makes this solution a must-have.

ARinsights ARchitect is used by the analyst relations department primarily, although at times, we have opened it up to the PR team, for use with event planning.
  • Manages the history of interactions
  • Compiles the latest information on the analyst community and individual analysts
  • Enables sharing of information across departments for more effective communications
  • The social media capture tool doesn't filter for irrelevant content
ARInsights is fantastic for sharing information and providing a repository of information in the analyst community

We have a geographically dispersed AR team. Since members of our team brief analysts from the same firm at different times, it's critical that we keep records of what was presented, the analysts' perception and follow-up items associated with that interaction. We also use ARchitect to prepare reports summarizing analyst perception and comments for business unit leaders.
  • Intuitive information fields capture the things that AR practitioners must archive
  • Easy to use reporting makes the dissemination of information to key stakeholders efficient
  • The customer support is second to none
  • I'd like to see more profiles included particularly for consultants and advisors
Very handy for keeping a corporate repository and history of conversations, presentations and analyst observations. We are a global company with five AR practitioners so we need to have a single platform to maintain this history. I also like the reporting feature which is very useful in generating a consolidated view, by topic, of interactions and perceptions. The Briefing Books are a great tool as an executive background document. We haven't used the AR Event Planning feature so I can't comment on this. I also like the recent Influencer Score feature...

We use ARchitect to organize and enrich our analyst relations program. It is indispensable for keeping notes and records of interactions, providing a searchable and current international analyst database, sending notifications about relevant published research and articles, and organizing information for reporting and metrics.
  • Analyst database is full of details and current
  • ARInsights team is very responsive, personable and open to suggestions for improving the product
  • Product is reasonably priced
  • More user-controlled customizations
  • Better width and breadth of helpful templates for communication and reporting
A must have for a one-person analyst relations staff

ARchitect is being used by the Dell Analyst Relations team. We use it to track interactions with the analyst community across the globe. We have a global AR team and it incredibly useful to know and understand what interactions we are all having with the analysts, especially the analysts we share across areas of responsibility.
  • ARchitect allows us to capture all interactions with the analyst community on a daily basis and for our big events. This information is shared across the team.
  • ARchitect allows us to capture data from each individual interaction on the key items discussed, follow-up items and we are able to attach ppts, reports, or any document used during the interactions.
  • ARchitect Event Manager allows us to build out our 1:1 agendas for big events, the system provided avoids conflicts for spokespeople as well as analysts. This module also allows us to print our complete agendas for the analysts. We are also able to send Outlook meeting planners to both internal and external 1:1 participants.
  • It would be great if ARcitect was able to add a field for staffers for event 1:1s, having this as a separate field would be helpful.
If you have an AR program across the globe and want to track all interactions you have with them, this tool is right for you. As you can imagine the tool is only as good as the data you put in, so you do have to make it part of your work day to input the data. Say a team member leaves and you have to jump in to cover for them, you are able to see all the interactions they have had with analysts.

ARchitect is used by the Global Analyst Relations program at Capgemini. We are an eight-member team distributed across three continents. We use ARchitect in the following ways:
1. Manage interactions (briefings, meetings, events) with analysts
2. Manage projects (major research reviews) with analysts
3. Knowledge/content management (tracking coverage of Capgemini by analysts)
4. Reporting back to the business (activity and coverage reports)
Content is accessible to everyone on the global team allowing for transparency in activities. We can also report back to the business on our activities with the click of a button.
  • Consolidation of coverage. ARchitect's Premium Content is an ideal tool. Analyst coverage is centralized in ARchitect -- saving the step of visiting multiple analyst websites to track coverage. We are also able to run customized coverage reports.
  • Interaction creation and maintenance. ARchitect's Interactions allow us to track our interactions with analysts, collaborate on interactions, and keep have a record of everything we've worked on. We can run interaction reports (which can be provided to the business) and briefing documents to keep executives up-to-date on how we've engaged analysts.
  • Projects for project management. ARchitect's Projects enables us to track analyst major reviews (very complex interactions) that can take several months to complete. We can easily look at the status and results of all major reviews -- in addition to keeping track of any red-flag situations.
  • Customization. Interaction, Article (part of Premium Content) and Project entry forms can be customized. Additional details outside of the standard form can be tracked.
  • The ability to clone articles. Since we use this tool heavily for knowledge/content management, we are often creating several entries against the same report.
  • Get the sort feature working on the column headers in grid views.
  • Remove the duplicate status field in Projects (ARchitect has been in touch with me about this already).
ARchitect is now the core of our AR program. We leverage it for every aspect of our program -- interactions, projects and knowledge/content management. With a distributed team of 8 working on 3 continents, ARchitect helps keep us on the same page. We can run reports against all aspects of our program. NOTE: ARchitect is dependent on users entering their data. What comes out is only as good as what goes in. We established KPIs to ensure that team members are motivated to enter their activities into ARchitect.

ARchitect is a "CRM" for analyst relations (AR) professionals who work with IT industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Ovum, et cetera). ARchitect is used by the AR team frequently throughout every day to manage current and future interactions, check on past interactions, conduct individual and mass communications, run analytics and reports, generate briefing books for internal stakeholders, and so on. Business problem solved: juggle many interactions with many analysts.
  • Effective user interface that makes finding information and using various functions fast
  • Analyst and firm database is updated on a continuous basis
  • Eliminates many emails between AR members because the information needed is quickly available through ARchitect
  • For our use case, the isn't any functionality or changes needed. It has been fine -tuned for 14 years so it is incredibly robust.
Creating an institutional memory of all interactions with the analysts whether live, email, events, etc.
