As an Instructional Designer, I create eLearning courses using Articulate 360's Storyline 360 on a daily basis.
  • Template management
  • Training opportunities with Yukon Learning
  • Motion paths and onscreen animation
Cons
  • Simulations are functional but a bit clunky
  • In Review mode the audio doesn't play until either Previous or Next is clicked
I use primarily the Storyline 360 product in Articulate 360's suite. It is pretty straightforward to use and works pretty similar to Power Point. The review process is great as it let's team members add comments on the appropriate frame. There is a bug with review and it doesn't play audio until one of the player buttons is clicked.

I have been using Storyline since version 1. With the advent of the subscription-based Articulate 360, I have an all in one solution to all my training needs. I use the suite of tools to develop all kinds of training, testing, and demonstrations. This is used across my facility and I have shared many of my developed courses with other affiliated facilities.
  • Automatic scaling of HTML5 content
  • Easy to share content with SMEs
  • Integrated large and growing content library
Cons
  • Resource intensive
  • Video authoring capabilities could be enhanced
If you need a rapid elearning tool, Articulate 360 is your best bet. It comes with all the programs in the Articulate family, course starters, review tools, and the easiest interface in the business.

Articulate 360

Rating: 10 out of 10

We use the 360 Suite to build eLearning for our organization.
  • Speeds development time with ease of use, quick access to the asset library, and great community
  • Converts my courses to mobile, so I don't have to
  • Easily give access to stakeholders for review and collaboration
Cons
  • More formatting options for text and photos in Rise
We use it every day to create e-learning and/or wrap videos for viewing at our locations. It's a robust tool that allows any level of developer to feel comfortable. It grows with the developer, and has great pre-built interactions but provides the ability to build customized interaction as well.

We use Rise for rapid development of courses with a large curriculum and we use Storyline for eLearning development for short courses or general eLearnings.
  • Rapid development
  • Large content library for videos and graphics
Cons
  • More editable features like colors or fonts
  • In tool help or guidance with things like variables
I had to create a curriculum for new hire contact center agents. Using Rise is able to blend Storyline courses that were existing and add them to the new course material in Rise. And we then created a blended learning virtual environment for the agents.

Articulate 360 is the key product used for creating our WBT training for the company. Not only is it extremely user friendly, it works extremely well with SumTotal LMS. This was the most important factor for using Articulate 360 as previous training material did not work well with the LMS.
  • it is very easy to use format, very much like using PowerPoint or Microsoft Word
  • Using layers is a great way to include a large amount of information to be used on one slide
  • Videos and pictures can be added easily
  • Audio can be imported or recorded directly to the slide in Articulate 360
Cons
  • I would like to see more entrance and exit animation choices than what is currently provided.
  • Better documented tool usage, dos/don'ts, nice-to-knows, would be extremely helpful
Articulate 360 works much better with our LMS system than previous products we have used. It is resolved many of the end user issues of blank slides in the training, freezing or locking up, buttons not working, etc. This has led to our end users no longer dreading training courses because they know they wont have the same issues.
