Articulate Storyline Features

  • Supported: Get started building courses right away, without any training. Storyline is so intuitive to use, even beginners ramp up quickly.
  • Supported: Create engaging interactivity, easily. If you can imagine an interaction, you can easily build it with Storyline. Let learners click, hover over, or drag any object to trigger any action. Build engaging interactions in minutes with buttons, sliders, markers, and hotspots. And create dynamic, personalized interactivity with intuitive variables—no programming required.
  • Supported: Build immersive, engaging learner experiences with video and simulations. Record screen activity, add screencasts from Articulate Replay, and import any type of video. To create software simulations simply record your screen once, then edit whenever and however you want.

You can test throughout your course to get a clear view of performance, and combine results from multiple quizzes for a final score.

  • Supported: Reach learners on virtually any device with HTML5 and Flash publishing options (Storyline 2) and a fully responsive player (Storyline 360 only).
  • Supported: Publish for learning management systems with Tin Can API 1.0, SCORM, and AICC support.

We are moving away from the standalone eCourse model, so depending upon when that shift happens, we might choose not to renew since we won't be supporting eCourses built in Articulate Storyline anymore. As long as we are still selling and supporting those eCourses, we will continue to renew the licenses we have.

Once you start using Articulate Storyline you just love it, and nothing can convince you to forget about it. More than that, they are on trend with new changes. They implement new features in their software releases that allow you to create awesome presentations or eLearning courses. In one work - great!

We can easily convert our older content into Storyline 2 courses, which makes updates a breeze. We've been well-pleased with the software, Articulate's dedication to releasing bug fixes and new features, and the fact that it is well-received by our associates and stakeholders.

It goes without saying that Artculate's products are the easiest to use and offer a great deal of functions with flexibility. Once an eLearning author uses the product it becomes tempting to not use other methods, but one would be wise not to limit him or herself to a single learning authoring platform. On the other hand, if given a single choice of a tool for rapid eLearning development, Articulate's Storyline would be a top choice.

I love the software, support and community around Storyline. The community has so many things to offer: downloadable templates and modules, answers to questions, quick responses to questions on the forums, great blogs and articles, and so much more. Articulate has developed not just a good tool, but a good brand. That's not always easy to do.

Articulate Storyline 2 has become a day to day program used in creating our eLearning. I cannot imagine using a different tool. It becomes easier and faster to create what we need and our initial test results have 'wowed' the learner in comparison to other experiences in eLearning they've encountered.

I've actually extended my previous 3 year contract with Articulate into a 6 year contract. After that I expect to add another 3 years... The cost for our licenses and any additional we might need is very fair and the return on investment is achieved in a matter of months, weeks even.

First off, Articulate doesn't require a contract for their software so this question is immediately mute.
I've had nothing but an amazing experience using all of Articulate's software in both my past and current position, I couldn't fathom recommending another tool, to be completely honest. It's caused no headaches or frustration that couldn't be immediately resolved using the eLearning Heroes community. There's really no other option in my book.
