Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

I once had a situation where a product I delivered to a client was not performing well on their LMS. After working with one of the Articulate engineers, I was able to gain access to advanced diagnostic testing and determine the source of the problem. It turned out to be a problem with the client's learning management system (LMS). This was all done in a very courteous and professional way. It was also handled very promptly by the Articulate engineer!

A couple years ago, I was building a quiz game in Storyline and couldn't get the scoring system to work right. I wanted users to be able to earn points, and then spend them within the game. But I couldn't figure out the program logic to stop someone from spending more points than they had earned. I posted my question on the Storyline community boards, and a staff member replied with a suggestion to fix it. She even mocked up an activity with the solution programmed in, so I could see how the program logic worked and copy it into the game I was developing. It worked perfectly!

Going back to a previous response, exceptional support tends to come from the community and not necessarily from Articulate themselves. it can be argued that they have set up this community and have helped it flourish so kudos to them for making it so.

Tom Kulhman and David Anderson are examples of exceptional support by Articulate - they employ these guys to eagerly share helpful information, insights, and creative ideas with the community, so I never stop learning and I never stop increasing my skills.

Yes, when I faced an urgent issue with an eLearning course that I created, I posted my situation on the ELearning Heroes support forum and within minutes I received no less than three suggestions that solved the problem. I was able to implement one of the three quickly and published my eLearning that morning. The speed and expertise they provided made the experience stand out in my mind.

When we first purchased Storyline, our company was also in the process of implementing a new LMS/Talent Development system. One of the first projects that we tried to launch in the new LMS did not work as intended, and our LMS vendor said that it was a problem with our authoring tool. Since I had the Platinum Support, I opened a ticket and engaged their tech support. After sending them my project file, Articulate's engineers quickly identified that the problem was not with the authoring tool and were able to identify exactly what was causing the issue in our LMS. They took it one step further and helped us to resolve the issue with the LMS itself, going out of their way to support a system that was out of the scope of their support package. Since that point in time, I haven't had to open another ticket and I'll never forget that support experience.
