The Best Project Management System Available
- Forecast
We are evaluating Forecast as another project management option. The benefit of Asana is that is it usable on mobile whereas Forecast is not. Asana is also more affordable, making it easy to add teammates and clients. Since Asana does not manage resources/time allocation like Forecast does, our team can simply focus on task management.
Microsoft Teams is great for collaboration, communication, and chatting, but does not have near the amount of features Asana does for task management. We use teams to communicate and Asana to track tasks and projects.

Easy-to-Use Project Management Platform
I currently use Trello to manage social content instead of Asana. It's very easy to view content, drag and drop cards/tasks and tag colleagues in items that need attention. However, I prefer Asana from a project management standpoint and think that it's a much superior platform overall. Our agency uses Lattice for people management and performance reviews, which is different than Asana but I think functions similarly. There are places to input goals/tasks, enter in updates and view progress on outstanding items.

Asana has its proper place in task management. There are better tools that provide similar functionality but the decision depends heavily on the actual requirements. If you own a small business or a start up, Asana is excellent. If you are an enterprise level organization, you'll want to map the requirements to the key features and functionality. Considering Asana is a free product with a paid model as you grow, it is an excellent offering to the project management community.

Asana gives me peace
Asana has a better user experience and user interface than other project management software I have used. It is much easier to learn than the other products, and I have been able to customize its use in better ways than I have accomplished with others. Much more than a to-do list.

Asana: Best all around project management tool
Asana is better organized than Basecamp and less visually confusing. It's more user intuitive and clear about what exactly needs to get done and what elements depend on others being executed. Overall, the list and kanban views allow for a more natural, more organized viewing experience, and flexibility in different thinking styles.
Bitrix24 is an excellent tool at a lower cost and can be very powerful. Your processes determine a GREAT deal of which platform you choose to use - which is why it's so important to know them before you begin mapping these out in software. Overall, we have preferred Asana over Bitrix24.

Project Management is a breeze. Thanks to Asana!
1. JIRA is more focused on technical developers. Hard for those non-technical users.
2. Wrike was good for project management assignment but lousy for communication after task assignment.
3. Trello was good for brain-storming a project but lousy for tasks assignment and communication.
After using the above 3 programs, our organization decided to switch to Asana. It was easy for technical and non-technical staff to use it. Communication among the cross functional teams became better. Ideas flowed better.

I view Asana as a lightweight PM tool, more for task management and collaboration.

Asana is great for team visibility, and they even celebrate your accomplishments with a unicorn!
A few of our other teams at the office use these other programs and they work great for them! However, as a team that is trying to integrate two parallel services, it's incredibly important for us to have visibility into what the others are doing at a high level. This helps managers cut down on micro-managing while still being able to see what's going on.

The basic plan is great, but the paid plans may lack in value
- KiSSFLOW and KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA)
While Asana is perhaps the best product for simple task management, I think competitors such as KiSSFLOW and KACE are better designed for a progressive workflow. If you can hand off a task to one person and be done with it, for example, Asana a great. If you need a customized workflow that automatically routes through multiple team members, however, Asana may not be your best option.

Asana # Development is easy now...
Asana stack over its various major competitors as its costing is quite under budget. The support to user is 24 x 7 and call centers available. The mail reply within 24 hours. Apart from it its user community is quite big and helps in the system to grow. It is widely accepted in world wide.

Asana for Project and Team Management
I use Asana in a similar way to how I used Trello at a previous company. Asana is much more feature-rich than Trello. Once I discovered that I can work from boards (the format used by Trello) in Asana, it would be a tough sell to get me to ever switch back.
Basecamp is the most basic of the project management software I have used. It was the first I worked with and it impressed me at the time. The UI isn't very nice. I wouldn't recommend Basecamp over Asana.

Easy to use but flexible enough to solve most of your daily problems
Ease of use and access are what initially put Asana ahead of other options available. We have stuck with Asana because of the flexibility in solving a variety of challenges that would otherwise fall to a spreadsheet or piles of paper, and the load it has taken off of the team when managing projects.
