What is Ascentis (discontinued)?

Ascentis was an a-la carte full suite workforce management (WFM) technology platform and human capital solutions. Ascentis WFM provided time and attendance solutions that provided clients with scheduling, compliance, complex calculations, and time collection options. The HCM suite, included a fully a-la carte solution.

Ascentis was acquired by UKG in March of 2022. The service will be discontinued.

HR Support is VERY NICE, but we feel we either wait a while for an answer (not ALL the time, but more lately), or the answers are not extremely knowledgeable or helpful. Responsiveness can be right away or waiting many days. The Support team is VERY nice - I think they just have a lot on their plate at times and don't get to us for a while. Sometimes the answers are almost too vague and don't fully help us out.

Ascentis support usually responds to email in a timely manner - sometimes a quick phone call helps speed things up. Overall quite pleased with their support, although for the most part it is simply password resets for the RDP users.
We hope to see a full web-based employee manager function soon.

Support is attentive and quick to answer the call and get the answer for you. If they for any reason cannot answer right then, they are back to you within a day and always seem to have a sense of urgency. You truly get the impression that they are aiming to make you happy.

Every time I call in for assistance, I am greeted with kindness and patience. In being new to this product and position with this company, I have many questions and want to understand why we are doing something a certain way. Support at Ascentis is always kind to explain why and how we are doing what we are doing.

It depends on which part of the system you are working with. The initial support team does not always read what you send them and responds without even knowing the whole picture. The Performance and Learning side appear to understand the system very well.

Customer service is the best part of Ascentis. Any time I need help or a zoom call to walk me through something (open enrollment), I always get someone who is knowledgeable and willing to spend as much time with me as needed.

I would give Ascentis a 10 if there haven't been issues with long hold times for support. Otherwise, if there are issues that can't be resolved, there is no limit to who, at Ascentis, will step in and it's comforting to know that the whole company of Ascentis is supporting us as their client.

Support sometimes takes quite a while to get back to a first email, but they are always friendly and try to help. Again, it sometimes takes a bit to get a resolution. But most of the time, once they know your problem, they will find the solution quickly and help resolve it.
