Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Customer service at Ascentis is a 10. They are responsive and reliable and always get you a solution. The only reason for the rating of 8 is they have set customer service hours on Monday - Friday and for our business, which is 7 days a week, 20 hours a day we sometimes don't get the support to solve an issue after hours or on the weekend.

Everyone in customer service is extremely personable and wants to help, but many times you do not get full answers to your questions. They think they are giving you everything, and then you run into issues after they have told you how to set up the system. Frustrating. I believe they have a small staff and sometimes they are impossible to reach. The exception is the TMS staff. They are always responsive and really understand the product.

Most Ascentis HR support is very fast at responding to my inquiries, however they don't always provide me with the answer/result that I want.

Also, while still in the implementation phase, we have a main contact person who helps streamline many of our concerns.

Support support support.

Every software provider says that they have outstanding support. Unfortunately, the customer doesn't really know if they do until the product is purchased. Then it is too late.

Support team is very helpful. However, they understand the limitations of the system-- so many times they are helping to find a work around. Many times I hear "we will add this to the list for our engineers to consider for the next update." They make due with the situation that we are in.

For me, Ascentis support is not that great. Yes, there are times when you actually get someone that is very helpful, but you may never get the option to work with them again. You do NOT have a dedicated support team, you have a standard customer service pool.

Ascentis would definitely be rated as a 9. Their team treats you like you are their only customer from the beginning. The ability to house and create documents, plans, and process in one system that links to another allows for effective management. Support is very responsive and works rapidly to recover all issues and answer all questions.

This is where Ascentis shines. Customer support is excellent. Everyone is helpful. Sometimes hard to get through on the phone and have to leave a message. Response to message is good. Nice to have an Account Manager and specific customer service person - Calvin.

The support area is inconsistent. There are times when I've had issues and their representatives have been extremely helpful and was either able to correct the issue immediately or provided timely follow-up for when the issue would be resolved. Unfortunately there have been other times when I had a representative on the phone that was not able to assist at all or did not provide timely follow-up to my issue. It can be very frustrating especially when I am trying to meet a deadline and am not getting the responses or assistance that I need.

Launch PM was good, as were the SMEs during the onboarding process. We had issues with Novatime support until it escalated multiple times. RDP is still not working on my Mac (I gave up on working with support on it).

We receive great support from Ascentis HR. Their response times are within acceptable ranges, and they are able to provide us the answers or direction we need to serve our employees in a timely manner.

With most issues, Ascentis support is very responsive and helpful, however when the issue is one that requires technical review and/or support, there is rarely any follow-up or response. The issues with the electronic transmittal of benefit information to carriers was one that after 1.5 years has yet to be resolved and follow-up from Ascentis on the status has been minimal. I have only receive information after repeated complaints were filed and escalated to top management.

For the recruitment and HRIS module the support was exceptional; however, the individual assigned to our account in Payroll support was not timely in responding or acknowledging the receipt of the request for help. Several times there was a need to escalate an issue to a more senior person on the team.

I never had any issues getting my problems resolved, making changes or getting training. I really liked that for the rectruiting function I had the same implementation person as the person who provided the support after going live. This allowed for greater efficiency since I did not have to re-explain anything the a new person. They are very responsive and always got back to me in a timely manner.
