We are an MSP and Atera is our RMM solution. It allows for RMM and Managed antivirus revenue. We also use the ticketing portion with accounting integration for billing.
  • Numerous integrations with other applications.
  • Ticketing and user portal.
Cons
  • There is a lack of editing ability in the ticketing portion.
  • Integration with more cloud based backup providers would be nice.
RMM is where it shines. With unlimited agents it's also great for general support.

Atera presents great value since its features and purposes are continually growing and developing

Atera is the ideal platform for me as a web developer as it offers features like ticketing, remote monitoring, automata, patch management and on top of it, the simple design makes using it and performing jobs a delight.
  • the ability to remotely access and control powershell
  • the ability to complete software inventory reports that can be easily exported
  • the automatic features of the platform helps us save more time
Cons
  • the shared script feature needs to be enhanced
  • some important options requires a full user license
  • the user interface in mobile phones needs some improvement
Atera is usually a decent solution that streamlines IT services and provides good performance and it charges depending on the technician, hence this is the most rationale choice.

Atera is the best value for price and includes all the needed features for any IT professional

We use Atera to remotely manage the computers in our branch offices. Our IT department uses the tools Atera provides to monitor and manage workstations in our offices across the county. Atera makes custom updates and runs custom scripts across local and remote systems easily with one command in the admin console, which saves time and IT resources.

  • The device list could have a better sorting option to display the devices in the order you want (e.g., alphabetically)
You can do pretty much anything you could if you were sitting in front of the machine through Atera--remote support, remote control, hardware diagnostics and stats, custom scripts run with admin rights, software installation, etc.

We currently use Atera to manage our MSP services and contracts. It helps us to manage and monitor what goes on with our clients and their devices.
We are able to manage our technicians and tickets more efficiently. The customer is always aware [of] what is going on and up to date with their tickets. It's patch management made simple.

Use Atera for asset tracking, patch management, helpdesk, app deployment and more. Atera is simple to use and cost effective, majority of competitors price per endpoint where Atera prices per agent. The software is not best in class in any aspect, though it is good enough, gets the job done.

Atera is a good all around RMM solution that has all the features as other competing brands. There are shortcomings so do your research when making your decision, but keep in mind that they're constantly developing and coming out with new features. Our IT department depends on Atera daily and for the most part what we need is there.
