I find Atera very helpful for our organization. We work in the marketing industry, where remote working and team management are crucial tasks. I like its user interface, and there is only a slight learning curve at the beginning, so it does not take much time to learn.
  • Perfect for remote monitoring and working from home.
  • Best for providing support to clients.
  • Has ticket raising features and cost-effective
Cons
  • Automation customization can be improved.
  • Few integration options.
  • It may not be a bit for larger MSPs.
It can be an excellent choice for medium to small MSPs, but it can be improved regarding scalability, automation + multiple support. It supports real-time monitoring, so there is no delay problem in the team, and it is well suited for IT and support companies. If Atera can improve customization and automation and have fewer compliance needs, it can also be fit for large MSPs.

In our organization, Atera is integrated with the remote desktop tool AnyDesk to securely connect to remote systems for remote IT support and monitoring devices if an IT Ticket is raised. Atera helps to streamline remote access and IT ticket management all in one place, allowing the quick resolution of client issues without being physically present. The integration with AnyDesk provides secure, low-latency connections, allowing fast, safe, and reliable remote troubleshooting. This product helps our organization majorly with IT ticket management, connecting to remote connections, and improving response times.

We have used Atera, the remote monitoring and management tool to easily troubleshoot problems that arise to our customers. It helps with any hardware or network issues that we can then reproduce and fix using Atera without the need to talk to the customer on the phone and instruct them on which steps to take.
  • A lot of quality updates to the software
  • Remote connections and monitoring
  • Support for various platforms
Cons
  • Support for mobile and tablets could be better
  • Integration with third party software
  • Pricing could be less steep
Atera is well suited for business whose clients are more frequent to need assistance. With Atera, the need for phone calls is abolished. If a business is smaller and the number of customers is limited, Atera might be an overkill. In that case, I think the steep pricing just isn't worth it.

We had limited use of the software in our company but I trialed it for remote management solution for managing the 25 plus computers with some being offsite. We had issues with people not having the latest patches for windows and other software products that we used and needed a solution for these.
