Autopilot is designed to make the business money more than it costs and we actually get an impressive range of marketing automation features in return for our money. It is a serious platform that is capable of building heavyweight automations. There is a complete set of features that teams use to create email campaigns and automatically send emails.

How would I say this, for me Autopilot is a whole other tool then the other MA tools I use. Most other MA tools focus on a lot of options and things you can do with it. But Autopilot seems to mainly focus on the visual builder to make automations, and they do that really well!

The other tools are also great but more a "complete package solution" with a lot of options. And that can be overwhelming. So if you want a great easy-to-use workflow/automation builder and less of all the other options Autopilot is a great start.

Autopilot is the worst of the marketing automation tools. It's got a great visual editor, but it isn't auditable and doesn't provide the basic functionality most other tools do for landing page editing etc. I'm unclear why all these positive reviews exist. Yes it's cheap, but you pay for that in frustration and regret.

Okta and Azure AD seem to work better for administering our email tenant and users for me comparatively. They just seem easier to use and I was already experienced with both.

Autopilot stacks up okay against the competition, but there are many platforms out there that are doing the same thing, either better and/or cheaper. I recently reviewed Klaviyo and Pardot and both seem to have more capabilities then Autopilot. Mailchimp is another competitor that Autopilot performs better than and would not recommend to folks.

Autopilot is a modern and powerful solution that we recommend to everyone looking for a marketing automation tool. Competitors either are outdated, overpriced or lacking features. We've been happily using Autopilot for years now. The only thing we'd wish to see added is detailed ROI tracking built in for journeys and lists.

We engaged with an independent marketing automation consultant who helped us vet marketing automation vendors. After meeting with several stakeholders across the company (marketing, sales, customer success, development, and exec), Autopilot beat out all other marketing automation vendors. The primary reasons were the features available: ease of use, integration with other systems, APIs & ability to customize, flexible subscription management, customer support, and price.

While Autopilot cannot compete with the enterprise players (like HubSpot and Marketo), I think it seriously beats its competitors in terms of features for the price. If you have a small budget, you could exhaust it by purchasing all the software you need to build your funnel, and Autopilot is essentially and all-in-one solution. It gave us access to features like chat that we couldn't afford at the time, and their training materials were incredibly impactful to getting our marketing team up to speed.

We had used Drip and in a smaller instance Campaign Monitor's automation. At the time, however, Drip itself was a little clunky because of a lack of broader integration, while Campaign Monitor was good for very simple workflows. At least the functionality of these former products at the time we used them was nowhere as flexible and user-friendly. We use Zapier all the time, and this integration is a massive asset for Autopilot.

Autopilot is great if you want a more visual and user-friendly campaign creator. Building journeys takes a minute to learn but a few weeks to master as there are a lot of extra functionalities that are possible. The AP support team is excellent and always answered all of our questions. If we need help, they will go above and beyond to help us understand best practices and helpful tips to get the most out of the software. If you need endless customizability, landing page support, or a complete marketing automation platform with all the bells and whistles, you should consider Marketo or Pardot.
