Avanan has been a great tool when it comes to protecting our business-sensitive data. For instance, the email protection features keep our email system safe ensuring all threats are screened and blocked. Also, Avanan offers other data protection features such as data loss protection features, Malware protection, threat detection, post-delivery protection among other critical features. Using Avanan is easy and the fact that it is customizable makes it even better.

My Experience With Avanan
We use Avanan mainly for data loss protection at is a great software. However, the main reason we deployed Avanan was to offer email protection to our business email as well as ensure privacy when sharing emails and files. Regarding email protection, it offers important features such as anti-spam, anti-malware, among other important features. The software has been a great addition to our business is deployed across all departments.

Anti-phishing friend
Our organization uses Avanan for anti-malware, phishing, and spam detection for our Exchange Online deployment. It addresses the business problem of additional advanced detection technology, not relying solely on the Microsoft security stack. When malware or phishing is detected, we utilize the option to remove the emails from user inboxes, saving time and effort to do it in a more manual fashion. We also utilize Avanan's reporting capabilities.
- Detecting phishing emails.
- Detecting and quarantining spam.
- Providing an easy method for "search and destroy" of malicious emails.
- Because Avanan is not inline, we've had instances where users already click on a malicious email before Avanan has had time to quarantine and remove it. I'd like to see users never have that opportunity.

Avanan is being used across our organization for phishing, malware, and data loss prevention (DLP). It reduced the number of support requests and reduced clutter in end-users inboxes. Avanan provided insight into security breaches. Our end users love the ability to request quarantined emails to be restored with minimal effort.

The best way to avoid all sorts of malware
Our main concern was e-mail security. Avanan is being used for avoiding phishing attacks and other security breaches in our organization. The results so far are much better than what we had before with a free software.

We use Avanan company-wide. We decided on Avanan for the cloud capabilities, how it uses AD, and the easy implementation. We were having problems with Microsoft's built-in protection not catching anything. We were being inundated with phishing attacks and impersonation attacks. We needed something fast to be in place and easy to implement across the whole company.

- Implements so easily, just had to connect the active directory, and done!

Email security, Malware, Phishing, etc. Our entire IT staff has access to the dashboard, they can check for security alerts such as Phishing or Anomalies. The dashboard is very intuitive and easy to use. We have many policies running to protect us from Malware, Phishing, and Spam.

Great data protection and application management software
Avanan is used across our organization to check and manage communication through email. It prevents malicious information and data before it lands into [an] email. It surveys and gives notification on any impending attacks to our internal data. Avanan best e-mail defense on the market
Avanan is being used as an advance anti-phish mechanism. It is currently doing inline protection on all mailboxes in the organization. It's anti-phish scanning and learning is top notch. Also it empowers an organization to quickly act if a phishing email makes it through. Its learning component is also very well done so that the same items don't get caught again.

Great online data security tool
Avanan is the most reliable security platform that enables us to secure our communication platforms. Our business emails have been secure from hackers and cannot easily be compromised by unauthorized access. It has powerful antivirus tools that prevent us from online viruses and lets us browse in a secure environment. All our cloud data services are well monitored effectively preventing any data leakages.

Avanan is Great
The price of the product delivers great spam protection. It might not have as many features as its competitors but it does everything we need it for a 1/3 of the price. The recent acquisition I see as a positive as they will have access to more resources to help improve the product even more.

We are using Avanan for comprehensive email security, as well as security for our cloud system (Google Workspaces).

Avanan filters with the best!
We use this product for spam and phishing filtering across the organization. The program does exactly what it says and more. I have used it for searching for specific emails as well as searching for mass emails that may have been caught as spam that should have gone to the organization. It is by far easier to use than Microsoft's built in Spam filtering product.

Trust in Avanan for Anti-Phishing Peace of Mind
Avanan removes phishing emails from ever getting to your users. I was skeptical until we installed it. My users were getting many phishing attempts per day. Configuring Avanan stopped that completely.

We are resellers and we use it for one of our customers, and it was excellent.
As per the customer opinion, it was an easy implementation and proactively finds phishing emails. It was the first email solution deployed as an app and its advanced machine learning fetches data from Office 365 and prevents email attacks. It deploys in a click.

Effective protection, transparent reporting
Avanan is a good security tool, useful to protect both from external and internal attacks; only few solution on the market can work in this way. It's invisible, is easily deployed, and allows full protection also on mainstream applications like MS 365. Our security now is really better than ever.

- Spam filter is good, and only in a few cases makes wrong decisions
- There were some cases where suspected email where wrongly judged legitimate

Avanan - Leading the way to a better day
Avanan is a great solution and recommend to anyone looking to beef up their email security and are lacking a strong email security solution. I like to call this "low hanging fruit" because it is extremely important to make sure you have a creditable yet effective solution in place to protect your employees from malware and phish attacks, especially in the world we live in today where ransomware is really evolving and becoming more creative to extort businesses. Avanan is a solution that will better protect your organization from these threats while also having a peace of mind and doesn't break the bank.

Very satisfied with Avanan
It is being used across the whole organization to provide phishing and malware protection for Microsoft 365. It protects against phishing attacks and provides a quick and easy way to pull unwanted messages from user mailboxes.
- It is very effective at quarantining malicious emails.
- It has a relatively low rate of false positives.
- It allows for quick removal of unwanted messages from multiple mailboxes.
- It provides valuable and detailed data on the characteristics of messages and sender reputation.
- Would like to see cooperation with Microsoft that would allow Microsoft's defenses to be disabled or bypassed in order to use Avanan's defenses exclusively.

Email security provider of our choice!
Avanan is being used across the whole organization. Avanan helps filter potentially harmful emails that are received by our team members. Sending and receiving emails is part of our day-to-day lives and we sometimes handle sensitive information we can't afford to be in the hands of cybercriminals. With Avanan, we feel secured.

- In the email notification, it would be a great idea to include a link where we can see the email content. Currently, the only option is to release the email which I am hesitant to click.

Solid Product
We use Avanan for all incoming emails for our whole company. It has drastically reduced the number of phishing and scam emails that we receive as a company. I would recommend this product to any company that is facing these kinds of security threats. The system was easy to implement and fit right into our Office 365 system.
