Bloomfire is being used at our company by specific people in the organization that have innovation as part of their role. We are using the platform specifically to collect internal and external research in construction innovation. We are using it as a hub for specific critical strategies so that it can house training materials, templates, research in draft form, and completed research.
  • Searching is easy.
  • Easy to make articles visually appealing.
  • Newsletters are a great way to communicate with all participants.
  • Better system of categorization.
  • Need better/easier way to copy and paste formatting.
Bloomfire is a great platform to gather knowledge and then connect all users to that content. It's extremely easy to find information with their search function unlike finding files in a platform like MS Teams. It allows for great collaboration with the ability to like, comment, and ask questions. Our users have asked questions and received information from people who we would not have known were subject matter experts. Many answers received when looking for knowledge are things that we never knew we needed and from people we wouldn't have thought to ask.

Bloomfire is used at my organization as a resource and assistant tool as well as a news bulletin. Every employee has access to it which makes it an excellent resource for all. It addresses the need for a mass culmination of templates, tools, and resources that are integral in business operations. Moreover, it allows employees to be up to date with current news and postings within the company with its easy to use interface.

Bloomfire is particularly useful for sharing varying news publications within your company as well as templates, resources, and tools that you want to be accessible to an increasingly digital work force. With the "hybrid stay-at-home" workforce moving to the forefront of contemporary business; it is necessary for corporations to have a tool by which employees and managers can easily distribute these important tools. In my position Bloomfire has been extremely crucial for finding important information on procedures and changes to business practices in a quick fashion thus saving time throughout my day.

I suppose a less "hybrid stay-at-home" workforce would have less of a need for this ease of access on the digital scape however, I still think every organization could benefit in some way from partnering with Bloomfire.

Bloomfire is being used by my organization to provide step-by-step scripts, insurance providers brochures, and how-to guides. I do believe it is being used by every department across the whole organization. The business problems that it addresses are tables and charts to figure if a consumer is eligible for a variety of plans by medical conditions and if the companies accept various medications consumer are prescribed by a PCP.
  • Search content by groups, types and just one word.
  • Automatic popups of words and information you may not know how to spell while you are typing.
  • The way all the information is categorized and easily accessible.
  • I recently started using Bloomfire and have no discrepancies.
  • All the features that I need are easy to use.
  • Give me some time and I may find that I would like to see done differently.
Bloomfire is well suited for the position I am in Sales. The scripts can take you through a complete sale and even during a cross-sell opportunity. Within the pages of the scripts, you can click on pages that give additional information to provide to the consumer or just for yourself. I have not yet found a less appropriate scenario in where Bloomfire is not well suited.

I am a new employee with Jackson Hewitt (in my first month) and I already love the ease of use that Bloomfire provides. With other companies, I have used products that are not as seamless, and of course, that makes things that much more difficult. I am impressed with how intuitive and simple the software is- I will enjoy using Bloomfire as a part of my daily job!
  • Condenses info into one easy-to-search space.
  • Allows me to search meeting transcripts in order to get to the information I need more quickly.
  • Smooth and simple- less time spent trying to find things and more time doing my job.
  • I don't think this is a Bloomfire issue, but rather one that my company could work on- Bloomfire works great, but I would like to see the info my company's central hub put into folders to browse instead of having to manually search for everything.
  • Categories at the top of the screen would help.
  • A live-chat widget with a Bloomfire IT specialist may be helpful.
Bloomfire is incredibly useful in bringing everything regarding frequently asked questions and employee benefits information into one place. It is so nice to be able to pull up Bloomfire and know that when I search for a key word or phrase, everything pertaining to that topic will be at my fingertips. It makes me feel so much more productive not to have to bug my manager or coworkers for every little question regarding company policy or benefits!

It allows a good information access point and it's easy to use. Great tool.

At European Wax Center Bloomfire is used as host to brand information including monthly setups, position descriptions, job duties and source document library. In addition, it hosts Q&A interactive pages. I used it to help myself perform job duties, learn company policy, refresh training skills and instruct employees.

Used as a partner portal on behalf of a vendor (MuleSoft). I work for the SI accessing the portal for partner related information. It is used across the whole organisation for this purpose.
  • Search features and the classification of content that simplify finding relevant content.
  • Volume of material available.

I find it useful for finding specific content on detailed technical areas. It seems to index pretty much the entire artifact so searching on detailed free text content also works.
It's also quick. Searches are returned with very little latency.

Bloomfire is used as a platform for sharing questions and information between Bible translation agencies and organizations worldwide through the MAP network.
  • It is efficient to use as a forum for posting articles of interest or invitations to events.
  • It is practical as a platform for hosting questions and discussions.
  • It syncs well with e-mail and all main web browsers.
  • I am unaware of areas for improvement of a technical nature.
  • From a user's perspective the cataloging and accessing of old posts can be difficult at times.
I am unaware of how Bloomfire would be less appropriate. For a platform to host discussions, notifications and forum topics I think Bloomfire is very well suited.

We use Bloomfire as an organizational tool for all collateral, presentations, and other company-related materials (both internal and external). It's used across the whole organization, and ultimately it helps us locate resources efficiently. It's most used via the search bar (which has yet to let me down, despite the file title perhaps being different), but the groups function has also been effective.

  • Would love a trending feature
Well suited for companies of any size, perhaps less relevant when the company's product/updates lack change.

We use Bloomfire as a way to share knowledge within our company. It is being used by our entire company. Employees like myself contribute different videos, articles, questions and knowledge about companies and strategies for our industry. It addresses the problem of accessibility of knowledge and competitive intelligence for business use. It helps aggregate information in one central location to be used. It is great for personal development.
  • Consolidating information in one central location.

Bloomfire is well suited for organizations to keep track of activity of its employees as well as their personal development. Well suited for centralizing reports, presentations, marketing information, or probably any other type of information that needs to be easily searchable and available to large groups of people. Not well suited in my opinion for sharing raw data with people who do not know how to use it. Pieces that are very timely in the sense that it would increase the work of the admin on the account to remove the information to keep things as current as possible.

It is used across a few projects for the different projects to communicate and share information with each other. We often come across the same information and we are using Bloomfire as a way to have a repository of information to prevent duplication of efforts.
  • I like the analytics (minus the pie charts) because they give a nice at-a-glance look at stats.
  • Search function in Bloomfire works very well.
  • I think we could use the tags feature more to help the search engine.
  • Take out pie charts and use appropriate data visualizations.
Great to share information, communicate with others, and ask questions. Might not be the right place for a webinar, though.

Bloomfire provides a platform to notify users there has been updates on current policies. It allows users to engage in their own learning on their own pace. It provides useful functions where you can bookmark frequently used pages.
  • The simplicity allows users from most educational backgrounds to use it, it's not complicated, but user friendly.
  • The search bar provides you a method of looking up things if you are in a rush.
  • Email notification about new policies or updates on previous ones are sent to - helpful.
  • Color or theme change.
  • An alert on the side like a msg with the number of new notifications because some employees don't read their emails would be a nice addition.

We use it for updates in my job as everything is changing rapidly.

Can't really remember when it's been less appropriate.

Bloomfire is used across our entire company giving access to every employee. It allows our employees access to all company knowledge to allow everyone the ability to learn, grow and double check resources they feel they need to reconfirm quickly!

We use Bloomfire for a compendium of work information which is used for training purposes as well as information access for tenured employees.
  • The ability to access and edit information is very good. It allows leaders in all departments to change, edit and update information as things change in the company.
  • It's very easy to use and navigate. Even for a novice.
  • Searching features is not my favorite. Sometimes you [can't] find what you're looking for, even with keywords.
I would most definitely recommend this product to others. I already have with certain colleagues in my field who are looking for a platform to do similar in what we do. Some are hesitant on the price but I remind them on how worth it it would be for themselves and their business.

OMG uses Bloomfire as a knowledge base for its 400+ resellers. We have more than 1500 documents, files, slide decks and videos as well as certification series, product sample series and more. It helps our resellers quickly find what they need, keep our knowledge base updated, and assure quality across the board.
  • Posts are displayed in magazine format by most recent.
  • Searches are accurate and help people find what they need.
  • Series are like playlists and help to assure that the right people get the right content.
  • None I can think of.
We require all of our partners/resellers to become certified and that involves completing close to 80 files, documents, decks and videos. These are all part of a "certification" series which appears as a playlist and we can make sure that each partner has completed each of these files.

We use Bloomfire to help manage information for completing tasks within our organization. The information can range from tips and tricks of jobs to resource PDFs that are easy for anyone to access at work or if they work from home. This ability to share easily information and at any time with everyone helps us reduce miscommunications, improve efficiency, and create a more fun work environment.
  • Categorizing content can be tailored to meet your specific organizations needs.
  • Searching/finding content is easy and intuitive because the search capabilities use every word that all your content contains.
  • Grouping information that applies to each other is easy to create and understand with the types of contributions Bloomfire has.
  • Creating your organization's Bloomfire page is painless because Bloomfire has a great setup process they walk through with new users.
  • PDFs and videos are difficult to work with. The areas where they show are somewhat too small and making the PDF or video full screen takes up too much room if you want to work alongside the PDFs and videos.
  • The automated lists add a number to any images that go with the lists. It can be taken out in the code but most of our users are not familiar with code and typing a list by hand takes users much more time to make their contributions.
  • The aesthetics are not all changeable. Our users wish we could make the home feed back ground more interesting.
Whenever someone has information that they need to organize and relay to coworkers who do not work right along side of each other. For example, some coworkers work from home and some worker collaborate on items while in a different state. Certain jobs have continuous tasks and having documents where someone details how to make the task more efficient would be helpful for another worker doing similar tasks.

Bloomfire is an amazing tool that we use to document our policy and procedures for Risk Management to the entire company's management team. They can access anytime at their convenience when they need Risk Management related instructions. We can share links to the details we have posted that we reference across the organization to use. It is a great communication tool.
  • We are able to post series of related items.
  • Updated forms are posted for easy access.
  • Ensures consistency in communication.
  • I'm not aware of any missing functionality. It works great for our needs.
It is very easy & convenient to use in communicating with the entire company. We can refer internally to the same details over and over again.
