It's mainly used for sending out newsletters and analyzing customer behaviour. Besides that we manage here also customer profiles. Additionally we manage from here double opt in subscription, consents, abandoned cart and net promoter score. Not only reports, but also customer segmentation is also implemented here to better understand customers.

Despite my relatively short time using Bloomreach, the experience has been exceptionally positive — a testament to its effectiveness!

Building automated campaigns that are cross-channel is super easy and creating integrations of these automations and split testing is all super easy to do. This being said I think accessing the initial reporting of these campaigns are a little hard to understand and there is some room for improvement I would say.

However, we are still struggling with creating dashboards and running the analytics and reports that we want. For example sales attribution to specific campaigns is still a struggle.

Bloomreach Engagement helps us to lift our marketing activities to the next level. We are able to do very detailed segmented campaigns, run our A/B tests, have a good orchestration between emails, push notifications through app and other channels. We finally have a multitude and wide range of customer data in one place, a powerful tool to have.
However, we are still struggling with creating dashboards and running the analytics and reports that we want. For example sales attribution to specific campaigns is still a struggle - this is being addressed right now, but has taken weeks to make some progress. This is the reason why I give a 7 instead of an 8.

We decided to use Bloomreach as our customer data platform, The one true single customer view as prior to this customer data was across a lot of different platforms and the company had multiple CRM systems to communicate with the clients. This meant feeding data in from around 10-15 different sources and systems.

Bloomreach is a great way to create a single view of the customer, it has a lot of flexibility around how you can integrate it into different systems. Really useful to ensure you have a segmented view of your clients and automate CRM journeys based on aggregations/ segmentations.

We use Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud for a variety of aspects, from email and SMS marketing to analysis and profiling customers, allowing us to grow retention levels and reduce churn. Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is extremely flexible and allows us to build our own reports, and dashboards allowing us to fully analyse BI & MI and the customer journey.
  • It is completely customisable - any report, dashboard of metric you want to build can be built within the platform. Any automation use case you want to build can be built using coding.
  • Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is super user friendly, so you can upskill yourself to learn the ins and outs of the platform without relying on dev teams
  • All data collected on your website sent to Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is actionable, whether by using coding or through using reports to do analysis.
  • All of the technical improvement requests that we have raised with Bloomreach have been actioned, they are very good at actioning on recommendations from customers.
I think Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is really strong on the journey from analysis to action, through automation marketing, any data point can be used for personalisation. However, if you are only just starting with CRM and don't have much team resource I would say Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is not the most appropriate platform. In my opinion, Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud's best characteristic is it's flexibility and the fact that the power is in your hands, however that takes time & resouce - you will have to invest time and resource to get the full value out of the platform.

Optimizing search results. Creating synonyms, creating redirects. Using boost and bury rules to spotlight medline manufactured product.

In the B2B space, Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is a very powerful tool to utilize and provides a better customer experience on our site. I think it takes out a lot of the manual work that we had to do with other systems from a merchandising perspective. I would say a less appropriate need for Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud would be if a product catalog rarely changed or customers. Simply use the website to reorder the same thing over and over and not needing to be educated on new product.

Bloomreach allows us to understand our database and adjust every single aspect of the customer journey.

We use Bloomreach as an easily adaptable and accessible Customer Data Platform filling the role of both email-, reporting-, analysis- and personalizationtool. We needed an accessible product able to elevate the use of our existing datasolutions to a up-to date level and to enable future omnichannel communications at a new level. This is to be done in both code-free and code-possible environments.

I use Bloomreach to manage the CRM of Sonora. Bloomreach helps me create intuitive scenarios that launch automated communications to the end user of the platform all with the objective of generating seamless captivation and retention of the users. Once the scenarios are designed and launched, they work non-stop. Bloomreach also allows me to create AB testing scenarios in order to see whether certain communication formats work better than others. That being said, Bloomreach offers data analytics that has helped me make these decisions.

It is used for reporting and analysis across teams and departments. Whilst also being used for building, executing and analysing campaigns sent out, both email and SMS. We use this for A/B testing as well and this really benefits our company. It is useful to have all this in one space.

Bloomreach is both our email service provider, hosts a lot of customer data and analytics, and it hosts several of our products (email newsletters). It is integrated with the websites of our products to help provide a more personalised experience for customers. Most of our digital marketing activity is completed using Bloomreach. We also use it to provide part of the content delivery for our advertising proposition.

Most of my work is with the Engagement product, creating and analyzing reports. I use data on Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud to mainly run reports about customers. The platform allows me to look at several different customer areas such as demographics, New Shoppers vs Existing, Retained shoppers vs Reactivated, lifecycle stages, RFM and CLTV. Regarding business problems, the platform helps us to identify what type of customer the company is in need of and the type of customer has the most loyal behavior. That helps us to address our efforts to the right customer.

  • Loads of very targeted segments based on browse and purchase behaviour
  • Clear email marketing stats i.e. open and click rates
  • It would be great to have a 'negate' button within Funnels.
  • Since the SQL Report beta implementation, it'd be great to check the code used behind traditional reports i.e., if I create a report through the usual/simple report section, it'd be nice to be able to look and edit the code created by the platform.
  • It'd be great to have a session/training on what causes errors in the the platform either on scenarios or reports.
Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is well suited for customer analysis and it really helps businesses to understand customer behavior. For Retail/Ecommerce specifically, users can easily see seasonality and best performing categories.

The platform is less appropriate for visualization purposes when compared to tools like Tableau or Looker as those tools allow users to mix different types of data coming from different reports. Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud has some limitations on combining different data, so sometimes you need to have different reports even if you need them to use for one final view.

Since I'm working with Bloomreach platform for just one month, I can't accurately describe positive or negative scenarios.
But what I see the biggest advantage is good UX of the platform, so you can easily explore all the functionality.
What I see as a biggest negative scenario, is that you can easily lost data, when you are not familiar with all the stuff Bloomreach offers. In some features they'd better add doublecheck steps.

We are using segmentation, website personalization and automatic campaigns as a whole marketing automation strategy. But we also focus on all the customer data, which are used as secondary analytic source.

We use it to send emails and show weblayers across a range of products and webpages. It's really helpful can we can pick exactly who we want to target, when, where etc. The reporting capabilities are just fantastic as well and we are able to measure just about everything. A great resource and I honestly don't know how we managed previously.

I create smart and automized email campaigns mostly targeted at customer relationship management with Bloomreach Engagement. Being a utilities company we are legally obligated to send certain emails to all our customers, which means deliverability is a big focus for us. It's all about reaching the right customer at the right time so they always know what's going on with their utilities. Bloomreach Engagement is a great tool in achieving this.
  • Easy to use interface for all types of users, beginner or advanced.
  • Making complicated segmentations within the database.
  • Good visual editor for emails.
  • Ease of building automation flows
  • Customer profiles and events can be difficult to navigate
  • Creating a report of your own could be made easier
  • When duplicating a scenario or email all custom settings are reset
  • You cannot add an attachment to an email sent within Bloomreach
Bloomreach is a very powerful tool that is also easy to learn. The interface is very intuitive to work with for novice and advanced users. Most Bloomreach clients are ecommerce businesses, but the tool is also very suitable for a utilities company. Our main uses are making smart email and SMS campaigns to keep our customers informed and engaged.

Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud will manage and provide content for the website and several apps and other systems within the company and enable site management for some functions.
  • It gives a manageable oversight of content and what it will look like once published
  • It offers a lot of flexibility in connecting with other systems
  • Though highly flexible it does mean the system can be (overly) complicated at times, but this can usually be overcome by good documentation
  • It could use a good form solution that is easy to integrate and safe to use with GDPR rules in mind without having an impact on deployments of new versions
If you have a lot of content and need a lot of flexibility integrating with other systems it's great. If this is less it might be more complicated than needed.

With over a decade working in the CRM and Retention marketing space and working in dozens of other ESP / CRM tools, none of them compare to the capabilities and ease of use of Bloomreach. I'm surprised I had never heard of the platform previously and I'm floored at all they can do from just basic capabilities such as managing email, push, in-app, sms, and web site conversion testing. A few tools do one of these channels well, but Bloomreach excels in all of these channels. There's a few minor things here and there with every CRM tool I don't like, but I've had a hard time finding many faults in Bloomreach. If you're a CRM professional like myself, I'd highly recommend the tool.

We use [Bloomereach Engagement] Exponea for marketing automation and communication with our customers. It is also used for transactional notifications, working retention, and our loyalty program. The idea is to have an all-in-one solution for notifications from SMS, to push notifications, and e-mail marketing with combined automated campaigns and programs for the different channels.

Bloomreach Engagement is very good for automated campaigns and tracking the performance of users in terms of open rate, click rate, and also leads generated from e-mail and SMS campaigns. It also helps to be in compliance with GDPR regulations. It is less appropriate when working with queries and events. The performance is much better with the real-time option via API.

We use Bloomreach to send personalised emails. Bloomreach helps us effortlessly manage a big database of customers, store their preferences, analyse their behaviour and use it to communicate with them according to their needs.
