[We] conducted [a] virtual learning environment using BlueJeans Events. [We] held lectures for 200+ students. Students could anonymously ask questions which increased participation.
  • Q&A feature
  • Ability to have multiple moderators/presenters
  • Student chat
  • Notifications for Q&A are difficult to navigate when there are a lot of incoming questions
Great when teaching to a large group of students. In [a] smaller classroom setting would just recommend using BlueJeans so students can unmute and have [a] discussion. [It's] difficult for students to get to know each other too and see who is in their class. In a classroom setting where discussion is important, we just don't use [BlueJeans] Events.

It's used across the whole organization which is international. We use it to lead online events live, like allHands, webinars, or workshops usually for more than 100 people. Usually, we are using the Q/A section, screen sharing, multiple camera views, broadcasts, and recording events. BlueJeans events is great since the audio and video quality meets our expectations. It's important to us to separate speakers, attendees, and moderators because it's convenient for meeting organizers, so everybody has the rights that they should have and separate chats for moderators or attendees!
  • Audio quality.
  • Video quality.
  • Roles: moderator, presenter, attendee.
  • Live streaming performance.
  • More detailed instructions, it's not very intuitive.
  • Scheduling meeting.
  • Nothing more, great job!
BlueJeans Events is well suited for big live events when you can stream and record video and you don't have to worry about installing external apps to do so. Great separation of moderators, presenters, and attendees. It may be not well suited in small events like less than 10 people. It'd be like taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

We use BlueJeans throughout all of our North American and global offices. We use it primarily for quarterly town hall meetings. We also use it for meetings that require BlueJeans features such as presenters/moderators, allowing certain people with abilities to share content and be visible. In addition, with the pandemic affecting staff to be in the office, we are now using BlueJeans to conduct all virtual meetings, new staff orientations, meetings with vendors, etc.
  • Presenting content w/ video sharing.
  • Ease of connecting into meetings.
  • Abilities for users to connect and use platform.
  • Video clarity can be improved.
  • The “Broadcast” meeting timer can be accurate as users speak after the countdown but it’s not the actual moment to speak.
BlueJeans is good when you want to have limitations on who can be visible, see other attendees, and share content. BlueJeans has also been great during the pandemic where multiple employees conducted meetings with team members as well as clients without a hiccup. BlueJeans has continued to provided great support for our needs, primarily during the pandemic.

We use BlueJeans Events for employee all-hands meetings and for company-wide events that reach multiple regions. The product helps us reach our international partners with ease, especially when it’s beyond the maximum occupancy a single user account allows. I like that it offers us the controlled Q&A portion and that there are no disruptions such while folks are joining versus on a regular BlueJeans account.
  • Q&A management
  • Sharing screens with ease by backend users
  • Recording quality of meetings
  • Assignment of roles to backend users (moderator, presenter, etc)
  • BlueJeans Events doesn’t work well on mobile phones. Connection is difficult and [I]often find myself having to connect on a laptop.
  • More functionality in the polls. For example, allowing “other” as a multiple choice option which enables users to enter in a response.
When you have above 100 employees joining. It’ll be easier to manage the meeting via BlueJeans as it becomes less of a hassle to have to mute people’s microphones. it’s less appropriate if the meeting is a small one and you’d like more interaction between speaker and viewers. Whenever we have external speakers, I’d prefer to use regular BlueJeans since it’s easier to use.

We are a union [and due to] Covid 19 we have been unable to have in-person union meeting[s]. We use BlueJeans Event to open communication[s] with our 5000+ members to share information and allow members to ask questions and interact with our office staff. BlueJeans Event has worked well for this type of use.
  • Share screen
  • Easy to be a presenter
  • Pre event signup
  • Branding Customization
  • Pre event music should be able to load much longer larger sizes
  • Moderator console having to open and close different sections
  • Virtual background for presenters
BlueJeans Event has been a fantastic communication and community-building tool for our organization. Its easy events setup and branding make [organizing meetings] painless. We look forward to continuing to use BlueJeans Event for years to come. [The] initial setup of the BlueJeans Events account was an easy and friendly experience with all the staff we came in contact with, from sales to support.

We use it to deliver lectures from professors and faculty to students particularly for large lecture classes that have over 150 students as this is the most stable way to deliver online content live. It can also be used for large-scale webinars and conferences we have had in the past to help deliver content online.
  • Easy to use
  • Stable
  • High quality
  • Better features for audience interaction thats more intuitive or visible
  • More intuitive guide for first time users who are not tech savvy
  • breakout room feature
It is a solid app that has a lot of potential for a large university organization. It is good for professors who need to set up large lectures that do not require too much student input during the lecture. However, there are other apps that combine the functionality of the smaller meetings such as breakout rooms and whiteboard features for example but are stable for large crowds.

It is used by our entire organization to hold classes, webinars, and info sessions. It allows us to effectively meet virtually with a large crowd and minimize any disruptions. It further is easy to use, easy to access and allow anyone in our organization to access from wherever they are. With COVID, this has been especially important for us to maintain these strong connections, and this platform has enabled that for us.
  • Ease of use.
  • Ease of access.
  • Professional design.
  • Improved connection ability: Connections frequently go out or audio/visual cut off.
  • More functionality to interact with audience.
  • Ability to see screen when sharing.
It is well suited for large events, classes, webinars, info sessions where a large audience is needed and the speakers are the only ones presenting. It also allows audience comments and questions, which is quite helpful. It is less appropriate for small group meetings or discussions as those require multiple people to have access to tools such as sharing a screen and are much easier to set up.

BlueJeans Events is used across the company for company updates and also as our main webinar platform for thought leadership with customers and prospects.
  • High resolution video sharing.
  • Polls to gain immediate real time feedback in webinars.
  • Effective Q&A and chat moderation.
  • Music playback can be glitchy.
  • Visibility of co-presenters when sharing the screen.
Well suited: Education across global markets and webinars. Less Appropriate: Live streaming fitness classes.

BlueJeans Events has been used by WGAW to host various virtual events, panels, and meetings. WGAW has used [BlueJeans Events] across multiple departments to host a variety of staff & member meetings, events, sessions, etc.
  • Clean platform designs.
  • Flexible functionality.
  • Manage panelists vs. attendees.
  • Avoid system going down.
Overall, BlueJeans Events a platform that's not too difficult to learn how to use and offers flexibility and functionality to host a range of virtual events, meetings, etc.

Used for webinar-type of programs to engage alumni and students. Allows communities to meet virtually in place of meeting in person.
  • Broadcast and recording feature.
  • Session registration and capturing who attends.
  • Various speaker/presenter layout options.
  • Moderator and presenter functions.
  • Sometimes speaker video and audio appear out of sync.
  • If I’m using from a small screen on browser, it’s hard to see and click on certain things.
  • All functionality on computer has never worked for me.
  • Chat box has frozen on me several times.
BlueJeans Events is great for formal events that need to have a more controlled environment. Also events with big attendance not requiring video option for participants. A lot of time speakers say that they want to see their audience or other faces when they’re speaking. This what makes us opt for basic BlueJeans or Zoom.

We typically use BlueJeans Events for lectures, presentations and town halls. It is being used across many departments in the school and university. BlueJeans Events allows for us to capture a large audience without having them all interact on screen. A regular meeting can come with distractions that can take away from a presentation, but this application allows for attendees to only see the person speaking. Attendees are not on camera and do not have access to a microphone. They can interact with other attendees via the chat, and if set up correctly, they can raise their hand and be brought on screen to ask a question or interact with the speaker. We have found this technology aids in the production of our virtual events.
  • Automatically generated reminder emails to registered attendees before the event.
  • Easy to host a panel and have them meet before the event goes live.
  • Moderator chat allows for those running the program to chat without all of the attendees seeing. This allows for you to address technical issues, program flow, etc.
  • Easier screensharing capabilities. Sometimes presenters would need to download an extension to screenshare. If your presenter is not aware of this when the event is live, it can be awkward and ruin the flow of the program or event.
  • More customizable look and feel of the event.
  • Better reporting without duplicate attendees.
It is most suited for a presentation or lecture that does not call for interaction with the audience. It is not suited for live interactions or discussions of a large team or group of people.

It is used in [our] organization for all virtual meetings and conferences. We also sell to our B2B customers.
  • Security.
  • Control setting.
  • Clear video and voice.
  • On low speeds net from [the] service provider, video stability or voice any one needs to be switched off. Especially when using on Handset.
  • Consumes lots of data and hence battery of Handset drains quickly.
When we need to handle a large event virtually or meeting virtually where it's more of [a] monologue than dialogue. Example: Launch meetings, controlled connects of CEOs to [the] whole team every month where [a] limited set of people are authorized to answer questions on chats.

We used BlueJeans Events for the first time in July 2021 for our virtual conference. It allowed our attendees to attend a virtual conference without zoom links and it wasn't clunky or unresponsive like other virtual platforms that had to be built for our usage. We had zero complaints about access which was huge for us.
  • Visual appeal is great.
  • Loved that we could add our conference logo and it looked like our platform.
  • User friendly even for the technically challenged.
As a conference planner, this was the best experience using a "virtual platform" and we went through 3 other platforms before finding BlueJeans Events. As an attendee, all you have to do is find the presentation you want and click on it and you are then able to watch the presentation and chat with other attendees. It was that easy, and BlueJeans Events had a great look and feel, and also the option to add our conference logo really wowed us.

We use BlueJeans Events to conduct public meetings remotely during the pandemic. It solved the problem of not being able to meet in person for our public meetings. BlueJeans Events allows our organization to have quality interactions with our customers and the public during our meetings. It's easy to use and the customers/public seem to like it.
  • Easy to set up events/meetings.
  • Easy for attendees, participants, and moderators to log on.
  • Able to easily customize the look and feel of the attendee experience.
  • High quality video and audio.
  • I wish event/meeting presenters could use a web browser.
  • Moderator also be a presenter.
BlueJeans Events is [a] great application that helps your organization connect to its customers and the public for meetings and events. It's relatively easy to use as a moderator, presenter, and attendee. It has a large capacity for attendees and can be helpful for any size organization.

We are using it for school lectures in some classes. We are now in person, but some classes are offering a hybrid approach which allows teachers to have the option to use it or not. We also use it for club meetings/personal meetings between students when working on projects.
  • It is very easy to join and quick to load up.
  • It is very easy to communicate and hear different presenters. Lectures are seamless.
  • It is easy to see who else is on the call and filter through the sidebar.
  • There is no option to have a background filter.
  • Creating meetings is kind of confusing. It took me a while to figure out how to create a meeting and share the link. Also distinguishing between meetings/events.
  • I wish there was a way to mute the audio on BlueJeans Events without having to turn your own computer volume down. That way you could listen to music/another sound while in the event.
  • I wish BlueJeans was more integrated as a communication platform like Teams.
BlueJeans is very good for larger classroom-type events because it is very easy to manage the call and have people muted during the conversation. I think it is less suited for one-one meetings. I prefer to use other platforms like Zoom for those because creating and sharing links are easier in my opinion.

It is used across the whole organization. We use BlueJeans for group meetings and company-wide live events.
  • Easy to check headset.
  • Interface is easy to understand.
  • Link with Outlook to send each invite.
  • No "draw on screen" function for everyone. It is only available for the person who is sharing the screen.
  • Not reliable. Microphone and speaker tend to not work with wireless headset.
  • Background blurring function can use some improvement.
Big event meeting is a better use for BlueJeans. A small quick meeting where everyone needs to draw on one screen at the same time is not suitable for BlueJeans.

BlueJeans Events is being used by our attorneys for our law firm CLE presentations. This addresses the need for travel, and we can record them in HD quality video using BlueJeans cloud recorder. The videos are stored on BlueJeans cloud storage, which reduces the burden of our IT department making sure we have enough disk storage space to store the CLE videos for future viewing.
  • Polling.

Being used across the organization for town hall events both within the organization and for patient communications.
  • Connection is great, minimal technical issues during presentations.
  • Moderation of events is easy to learn and execute.
  • Ability to control attendee actions, can remove people from event if needed.
  • Q&A feature functions well and is useful for communication.
  • Recording function is easy to use.
  • Wish there were more options for the format that presenters can be viewed in.
  • Clearer options for how to share screen when presenting, maybe word labels instead of pictures/icons to click on.
  • Attendees have had trouble accessing BlueJeans on certain web browsers, capabilities to function better on all web browsers would be helpful.
Well suited for larger events where there will be more attendees, or for events where the attendees do not need to be seen or heard. If attendees need to be seen or heard, this application would not be appropriate as attendees can only communicate using the Q&A or chat. Otherwise, for presentations to large groups, this application has great functionality and is easy to use.

It is my understanding the company currently uses BlueJeans Meetings but it is being phased out for the most part and replaced by Microsoft Teams. I use BlueJeans Events to do Virtual Instructor Lead Training (VILT). So, in general, most people will use Microsoft Teams going forward. I will continue to use BlueJeans Events.
  • Easy to use
  • Good control console
  • Good online support (docs and videos)
  • Only one person can drive the slides which makes it hard when someone is presenting and has to continue to say "next slide"
  • It seems that if the Moderator changes something in the platform set-up another email goes out to participants
  • Would like to be able to write on a white board from any PC
Another one is you can't play a video via a PowerPoint slide. It has to be played by the Moderator.

We were using BlueJeans meetings spontaneously, but since March, we have increased our usage by 1000%.
Within August we had:
  • 11213 meetings
  • 488 users with accounts
  • 52338 participants involved
  • 129 recordings

A couple of weeks ago, we purchased the BlueJeans Event App and we are planning to have our first online town hall for 1000 users. We are so happy with BlueJean's functionality, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of having a professional VC platform. I would like to say thank you to the BlueJeans Support Team; they are great!
  • Quality
  • Speed
  • Simplicity
  • Support
  • Virtual background for the event app.
  • Lock screen with password protection.
  • Possibility to see Q&A in Polycom rooms.
BlueJeans is a very good platform for online meetings and events. It’s very useful for Service Desk people so they can communicate and solve the issues. Capacity for one meeting is 25 but you can increase that up to 100 users. With the event app, you can have 500 or more. I can use BlueJeans everywhere and on any device!

It is mostly being used for scheduling sessions with SMEs for teams accepted to our events. We also use it for our online hackathons as a webinar tool and to schedule meetings. As the core user within the organization, my team gets trained on the basics when they wish to schedule meetings or webinars.
  • Connectivity
  • Easy screen screen sharing
  • Great audio
  • Great moderator tools
  • Troubleshooting audio connectivity in the session.
  • More company branding opportunities.
  • Option to choose waiting music and pictures.
We tried recording a webinar session but this did not work due to audio issues so we resulted to BlueJeans meetings to do this. I believe an ability to record keynotes, edit and play through a webinar or meeting would be a great addition. Perhaps also multiple link scheduling for speed dating or matchmaking sessions would be innovative and new in a platform such as this.

  • Multiple departments across the organization are using BlueJeans at high capacity; daily, long meetings.
  • The main issues we may face sometimes would be the voice cutting, especially if too many users on BJ events and sometimes high delay in presentation shared when across different regions.
  • Easy to use from Phone App
  • Easy to set meetings
  • When using the phone app, we cannot access contacts in MS Outlook, only the ones stored on the phone.
  • Higher bandwidth in BlueJeans events.
  • BlueJeans is very handy and easy to use when setting global town hall meetings for the organization, across multiple regions. It can include about 1000 participants.
  • However, BlueJeans needs to strengthen its productivity when it comes to sharing presentations and streaming videos during large scale events. On a few occasions, the delay was over 1.5 minutes.

BlueJeans is used among my whole organization as a basic tool for teleconferencing. Both for project meetings and town halls. As a teleconferencing solution, it allows us to chat through cameras in meeting rooms, but also through laptops and mobile devices. It is widely used across all teams within the company as it significantly helps us cooperate between people working in different countries/continents.
  • Good screen sharing functionality.
  • Automatic adjustment of picture/sound quality in case of network connection problems.
  • Nothing particular. It's ok as is.
Well suited for multi-location teleconferencing purposes. Whenever you need to cooperate with distant users it's a good choice. Same if you want to perform town hall-type meetings/speeches for different locations. It's not the best choice for small, daily chats/conversations between end-users as it requires too much effort to be quickly used. For more official meetings it's great.

BlueJeans is being used by our entire employee population of ~2,500. Everyone uses it for all personal and team meetings, and we use "Events" for our training webinars. It solves the problems we had with our previous provider. It is the ease of use, Events, Meetings, and Large Meetings to solve many issues we previously ran into!
  • BlueJeans Events interface is perfect for Webinars. The Moderator/Presenter has the perfect amount of control, and it looks excellent for participants.
  • Ease of Use for end-users is fantastic.
  • The BlueJeans Nuuc computer has issues from time to time with needing to be manually restarted or the computer needing updates.
  • BlueJeans support is sometimes unable to diagnose an issue as deeply as we need.
BlueJeans works excellent when used for Events & Meetings. The interface is easy, and the controls are easy to use. The audio and video quality is usually great as well. The admin controls are great, and we often use the Command Center to diagnose issues or Live Meeting Control. I think the BlueJeans Rooms could use some streamlining. They aren't as stable as we would like.
