Used daily for:
  • Remote conferences for a distributed team.
  • Standups.
  • Occasionally for clients/partners.
  • Occasionally for potential employee interviews.
  • Integration with legacy lifeSize conference room system over an H.xxx standard.
  • Sometimes very good quality, most of the time fair.
  • It is impossible to call someone over BlueJeans, you must make an appointment and meet in a virtual room.
  • No Slack integration.
Well suited: Regular team meetings.

Less suited: Ad-hoc communication to solve a problem in remote fashion.

We use BlueJeans every day for all calls internally and externally with clients. Our client base is scattered across EMEA and Apac and BlueJeans allows us to connect in a quick and stable fashion. Having the app keeps us mobile and we never have any bandwidth problems meaning the calls are smooth and easy to work with. They enable us to work remotely and travel whilst being in touch.
  • A stable platform that makes calls simple to use and video conference great.
  • Whiteboarding enables everyone to contribute.
  • App functionality is excellent.
  • A one-touch scheduling tab would be very helpful.
  • Automatic recordings and bigger storage for recordings.
Well suited:
  • For remote and virtual teams.
  • For clients and conference calls and video conference.
  • Particularly good for delivering webinars and online learning sessions.
  • Great way for virtual team meetings.

BlueJeans is currently being used by my organization to set up conf. calls with one of our top customers. It is used by the entire organization that supports this customer to enable us to be efficient in the way we conduct our meetings. Due to the limitations of our current conferencing and web system, our customer has had numerous problems trying to connect to our system, and instead of continuing to have issues and pushing the customer to use our tools, we switched to BlueJeans and were able to solve any connection problems.
  • Very easy interface, the navigation on the right-hand pane is super simple to use.
  • Connectivity is quick and simple, loads fast.
  • The ability to link your phone number to the system so it recognizes who you are is valuable.
  • The website to modify options, etc. is a bit cumbersome and not intuitive.
  • Once you share your screen you can't see your audience anymore.
BlueJeans is well suited for small and large conference calls where you need to control who speaks, who is presenting and need to connect quickly. The app is very easy to use and the screen sharing feature is very nice. The integration with Outlook helps plan meetings quickly. The response time for anyone on the line is quick and we do not see delays.

We use BlueJeans on almost a daily basis, across our whole LA office staff. From our producers, to our creative teams, to admin/business manager, to our VPs, BlueJeans has played a crucial role in opening up a new level of communication, not only between our other office locations (NY, London, Tokyo), but between our current and potential new clients. BlueJeans is one of those things where you can't imagine how you possibly operated without it. Prior to implementing BlueJeans at our company, we were a huddled mass of people, crammed around someones laptop, doing a FaceTime or any other of the low-rent video conferencing solutions out there. When you have BlueJeans in your office, not only is the quality amazing, the ease of use with setting up meetings to using it in the conference room [is as well] - my mom could do it. We use the Dolby Base Station in conjunction with the BlueJeans conference system camera combo and it works like a charm. Tap in a meeting ID into the Dolby unit, enter a password and presto-chango, you're in a meeting. I swear, it's that simple.
  • Easy to use.
  • Amazing video conference call quality, with little to no audio delay.
  • Amazing value for the price you pay.
  • Super friendly support staff.
  • Great and easy to use web portal.
  • Very rarely, but sometimes when starting up a video conference with the Dolby base station, you enter the info, the system starts up but then it sits there and loads and then just quits out. You have to re-enter a second time and then it works.
  • Because I also use my iPhone as a hotspot with T-Mobile and have that left on by default, when using the BlueJeans mobile app via an iPad, it defaults to using my hotspot over our company's wifi. Before figuring it out, I was getting a not so great strength of signal, with the app telling me it was switching to low-bandwidth. I finally figured it out, but would be nice for the app to go with the stronger signal overall, not necessarily the signal that is "closest" to the iPad.
I honestly think BlueJeans is well suited in most situations at our office, where easy communication between teams and clients is needed. I don't think there are any scenarios where it would be less appropriate to use. More communication and less confusion with what you want to do or say is always going to be a good thing in the workspace. When you're talking about other alternatives to not using BlueJeans, I can't imagine how that would be appropriate when you have BlueJeans available to use. Maybe you don't use the video portion of BlueJeans and only utilize the audio for certain clients or a vendor, but besides that, I am of the opinion of using BlueJeans whenever/wherever.

BlueJeans is currently being used for both board and management meetings, by users locally in Canada, as well as with international users (specifically in China and the UK). It is a great platform for allowing people to communicate effectively and easily without using expensive telephone conferencing systems.
  • BlueJeans has always been very reliable. Every time people in our company have used the service there have never been any connection issues that have caused delays or frustrations.
  • The service works well worldwide. We have had participants involved from Canada all the way to South Africa to China and Australia and you would never know the person wasn't in the room next door. It has been a great way of communicating without hassle and expense.
  • When scheduling a meeting, there is an option to add a message. When the meeting request gets e-mailed to people, most people do not scroll down to see the message. It would be helpful if there was a message included for it to be right at the top of the meeting request e-mail.
BlueJeans is very well suited as a mutli-user conferencing system. We are able to have 6-8 people on a voice-only call without any delays or frustration.

Bluejeans is widely used in our organization across several Asia countries. We provision the accounts by entities. Generally, our main corporate office uses it the most to host huge meetings. Few problems to report except for one over the course of three years.
  • Stable connection.
  • Reasonable price.
  • Unlimited recording.
  • Provide more free [features].
  • Dial-in numbers. Currently PH, TH is not listed.
  • Provide more integration with other brands.
[BlueJeans is well-suited for] big meetings and multiple remote connections. However, it's less appropriate if the number of participants drops below four as I can use my multi-site license to host VC calls.

Used across the entire organization for internal meetings. Allows in-person meetings to occur virtually, dramatically reducing the T&E cost.
  • Easy to set up.
  • Plug-in for Outlook.
  • Screenshare is simple.
  • Ability to record meetings.
  • Ability to see settings and who is on call when sharing a screen.
  • One-touch dial-in feature when creating an invite in Outlook (via plug-in).
Well suited for 1:1 meetings and group meetings.
Less well suited for -- I can't think of much.

BlueJeans is used across our entire organization. It allows us to meet remotely with our staff and volunteers in other states to conduct staff meetings and training (our board of directors also uses BlueJeans to meet at times) and saves us the time, money and hassle of having to travel and meet in person.
  • BlueJeans allows for video conferencing without lag time.
  • BlueJeans allows you to share your screen and/or presentations with ease.
  • BlueJeans allows you to record meetings to review at a later time or to share with others.
  • I would like to see them allow for multiple users to share screens and presentations during the same presentation.
BlueJeans is an excellent resource for online meetings! It is easy to use and works well for those who need to be able to interact with colleagues and make presentations with others in remote locations.

Our business is a creative services agency, which relies heavily on regular video conference communication with high-level executives and clients, to convey our ideas and provide our services. It is is critical to our business to have a video service to emulate, as close as possible, an in-person meeting experience. Our typical meeting consists of 2-3 members of our staff, and 2-4 client members.
  • We initially chose BlueJeans for the fact that it could be used without the need to download an application, and could work for a broad range of clients regardless of what their internal conferencing platform.
  • Ability to personalize and brand the experience
  • The biggest issue we faced with BlueJeans was the extremely poor quality video, and connection issues from every connection point. Both audio and video connection would freeze, pixelate, or disconnect altogether.
  • BlueJeans did a poor job in their efforts to resolve the issues, over a 3yr + period. Their technical support, as well as customer service was not helpful in coming up with solutions, testing, or determining ways to improve the quality of service.
  • The sales team did not help to accommodate a clean separation of the service, but held us to pay out an obligated contract, even though they failed to provide an adequate service for which we were paying for. We wanted to part ways amicably, and currently use ZOOM (which we haven't experienced any issues with, and a far better service). Unfortunately the team we dealt with a BlueJeans was very short-sighted and did not want to work with us, even though we patiently (at our own cost) utilized the service for more than 3yrs in hopes the quality of the service would improve.
  • Pricing of BlueJeans is higher than competitors, with a vastly inferior product.
In our experience with BlueJeans, we did not find a scenario where the service ever worked adequately, yet we paid a significant premium for the service. We have switched to ZOOM, which is a far better product... ZOOM is reliable, good quality, good user experience, less expensive, better customer service, better sales team, and addresses every aspect of the service far better than BlueJeans.

We use Bluejeans for connecting with clients and suppliers that are located all around the country. We also use it for internal communication and following up on projects between people that are not located in the same office or are working from home.
  • It has an excellent communication tool without any interference.
  • It is flexible as you can connect via any computer, mobile device or phone.
  • Screen sharing is a very useful feature for collaborative work.
  • I wish that the room number was the same as the audio code when connecting by phone.
it is well suited for:
  • teams working collaboratively in different locations: different offices, cities, countries or doing home office
  • being in touch with clients or vendors located in different cities or countries
  • connecting several persons that are not in the same location to follow up on a specific topic or project or solve a problem
It's less appropriate for people working in the same building or location.

It is being used across the whole organization since we have people who are remote half time and full time. BlueJeans is also used when we hold video calls with outside partners and webinars. We connect with people all over the whole and use Bluejeans when we hold conference calls and video calls.
  • The dashboard is self-explanatory.
  • Logging in is easy and doesn't require a download.
  • You can pick your own pin and ID numbers, which makes it easy to remember.
  • You can't show a video with sound in an easy and effective way.
  • There is no beep when people join via the phone, so you may not know when people arrive.
  • So many updates! It is hard to keep up.
When you are working with people from all over the world it is helpful to use a platform like BlueJeans because the connection can be very strong, there are numbers to dial in from all over the world, the app is also available on the phone, and their customer service is also easy to talk to when there are problems.

BlueJeans is currently used across the whole organization. The users base is sporadic, as not all employees have requested an account. The power users are BD, IT, and Operations Managers.
  • BlueJeans creates a seamless join-in experience.
  • BlueJeans has global reach numbers.
  • BlueJeans' audio/video experience automatically works.
  • Ensure enhancements to their software are communicated to the appropriate contacts within the organization.

I use BlueJeans in education (distance learning), administration (executive conferences and interviews) and clinical applications (connecting physicians with rural patients that do not have access to transportation or will not follow-up for their continuity of care due to long distances to our urban medical center). As you can see, this is a broad spectrum of use.

During COVID we have been using it for patient telehealth visits as well as provider consultations, administrative meetings, interviews with prospective students/residents/fellows and other provider recruitment, medical student courses, community outreach and other teaching programs within our organization and outside facilities.
  • Ease of use for new users.
  • Lectures within and outside our organization with the ability to share content from a computer device for education, collaboration, and information.
  • Excellent video quality.
  • Student teaching allows breakout sessions for smaller groups to discuss course learning examples.
  • Administrative meetings allows us to communicate during this time of social distancing.
  • Community outreach to underserved populations provide access to healthcare providers and social services.
  • Patient care using it as a telehealth platform.
  • I've been using BlueJeans for so many years the features are very easy to use. I'm glad to see the addition of breakout sessions and the background options. Could increase the number of breakout rooms.
  • Could improve user functionality with a green screen function.
Other than a couple of issues, BlueJeans is a great fit. Most particularly when connecting with new users. A URL link for patients, executive interviews and conferences, and a simple "click" step download makes this an excellent product. New users that are not particularly 'tech-savvy' easily connect to us with simple instructions. This works especially well with patients in rural areas calling physicians they normally would not have access to. We are using it to connect our underserved population to access doctors, nurses, dentists, social workers and information on social services this community needs. We have not been presented with a scenario we have not been able to configure some use for BlueJeans. Very adaptable.

We currently use Bluejeans to set up Training Webinars and meetings. We are a large national organization with 75+ branches, and BlueJeans allows us the versatility to hold these trainings without too much setup or technical know-how. A lot of products market themselves as easy to use and user-friendly to the end-user, but Bluejeans is one of those products that just works.
  • Multi-user Meetings
  • Crystal clear sound quality
  • High Resolution video feed
For use with Training, it has every feature one would want when implementing a webinar or conference. Everything from invitations, to screen sharing, to being able to mute the audience, are features that I use very often. I have a co-worker whom I recommended the product to, and now they use it for recruiting and they love it!

We are using the platform to communicate visually with clients globally and with remote employees. It has been instrumental in enabling us to collaborate and enhance overall production.
  • High-quality video/audio
  • integration with Google calendar
  • great mobile app
  • Warnings about a poor connection that would enable a user to quickly drop a video or enable them to maintain communication more easily.
  • If using multiple accounts in a company, it would be nice to be able to switch accounts quickly.
Great for collaboration and remote teams.

Bluejeans is currently being used by most teams within the organization that I am a part of. Most teams use it for the screen sharing capabilities with both internal and client calls. The business problem it addresses is being able to hold meetings and demos when people are in different locations around the world.
  • It is simple to use
  • I am able to pick my own conference number
  • Screensharing is fairly intuitive
  • There have been times where I haven't been able to connect to BlueJeans on my computer.
  • I can't seem to find out how to change settings so there is a sound when someone has joined the meeting.
  • BlueJeans can be slow on my computer sometimes.
BlueJeans is good for most scenarios at my company when we have both internal and external meetings throughout the day. The only thing it can't really replace are in-person meetings, but that is not the intent of the software. BlueJeans is good for demos as well, since I can share my screen easily.

We use BlueJeans across a range of business areas. We are an online culinary college and myself, as the Director, use BlueJeans to show corporate clients the learning system we have created and thus enable them to sign deals globally with us to onset our product.

My sales team uses BlueJeans to demonstrate the potential new student how easy it is to study online with us. Our Chef Instructors use BlueJeans to run demonstration sessions directly to our students around the world. Our HR department uses BlueJeans to run and record training sessions to easily onboard new employees.
  • The ability to have multiple people online at the same time.
  • The ability to record our training sessions and inductions for both students and HR.
  • The ability for our students and employees to have future access to training sessions even if they missed the session.
  • I have no suggestions for improvement at this time. BlueJeans has been great.
We chose BlueJeans as it is well suited to our business model. We looked at other similar products and chose BlueJeans as it meets our needs at the moment. The other evening I had an incoming inquiry from someone in another country, I set up the demonstration, invited her, on and in a few minutes was able to show her our learning system.

Its used in many ways. Department meetings, store regional weekly meetings, work from home meetings etc. We still have a lot doing dial-in only and have not fully adopted the use of app or laptop services.
  • Easy to onboard.
  • Easy to use (however we do have end users that want to use handheld devices to set up meetings).
  • Flexible use with phone, app, or laptop.
  • I feel its user-friendly but we still have a level of help we need to provide on the support side. I'm working with my BlueJeans rep currently to get end-user training setup.
  • We do have call quality issues occasionally but that's more of an exception. I think it's also mostly dialed in users.
  • I would like to be able to set up rooms without the added cost. To me, rooms are the same as an individual account.
Well suited for screen share, voice bridge, and video conferencing. We still have another provider we use for our actual conference bridges that we have not been able to completely replace. Also, we have some using Skype as a call in number internationally that couldn't use BlueJeans since it is not a direct dial-in, it needs to be scheduled.

BlueJeans is our primary software for all meetings. We use it internally for meetings between science teams, external meetings with partners, board-level meetings, and founder meetings. Any meeting in which participants are not face to face, we set up a BlueJeans meeting to allow folks to participate. As we are a biotech company, we find BlueJeans to be a great solution to share data presentations to drive decision-making.
  • It is very easy for people to join across multiple devices, computers, phones, and tablets to use the video feature.
  • Screen-sharing is very straight forward, yet there are options to share specific applications versus the entire screen.
  • We also find it very easy to set up external conference hardware like cams and mics and be able to switch between devices with ease.
  • We've run into updates being needed when we open the application, which typically is only when starting meetings. It would be nice to have it auto-update, or have notifications to update. This may be a feature already present, but it's not obvious.
  • Often there are participants who've not used BlueJeans before and sometimes they don't download the app, and so we've had people be late to download or they realize they can't access the full-feature set through a browser. Better communication to download the app for the full-features when people are invited would be nice.
  • We'd like to see better iCal integration. We can reply and get notifications when people accept the invite using Google but have not seen this be as smooth for iCal.
  • We have had instances where we've had to sign out and sign into the meeting to see everyone in the room. Rare, but has happened.
We've had 10 plus participant meetings go very smooth with BlueJeans, including when multiple people share their respective screens. We really haven't found a particular instance where BlueJeans would not be appropriate. It is our exclusive tool for meetings.

BlueJeans is being used by our organization across teams and departments. Today, it is our primary means of conferencing and interacting with internal teams, partners, and our clients.
  • BlueJeans handles the video conference and audio portions of a collaborative meeting well.
  • Screen sharing is generally simple.
  • Scheduling of meetings is still a bit cumbersome. The O365 add-in for the client has had some issues, so would like to see that improved.
  • International users still struggle to get connected even with the local dial-in numbers.
  • Users who haven't used BlueJeans before often tell us that it was a hassle to download the appropriate installer and get it set up.
  • The ability to combine "phone in users" with who they actually are on the call would be helpful when users dial-in twice.
It's well suited for a scheduled, formal meeting that requires screen sharing and/or video conference abilities. It does not lend itself well to a quick impromptu meeting unless you're using a private room.

I am with a Network Marketing company and have about 3,000 people in my organization. I use BlueJeans for video calling with leaders. I use it for smaller "meetings" of 3-5 people and also for larger video meetings of 10-20. The primary reason I initially switched from Zoom to BlueJeans is because of the ability and ease to broadcast LIVE to my Facebook group with my leaders. This allows us to collaborate and do teaching with multiple teachers on our team page. We also use the video call feature to do more private meetings without broadcasting it. it allows us to work smart from home!
  • Broadcasting to Facebook - this is key to be able to broadcast LIVE with multiple teachings on our team page and other information pages.
  • The Video Call feature is key. It allows us to work from home but still collaborate, and seeing each other makes it even more personal.
  • The ease of use for the program and multiple ways to use it make it a must-have for a business owner!
  • The price point is amazing for everything you receive!
  • The majority of my coworkers use Zoom. I wish BlueJeans was more widely known and used!!!
  • The Live function for FB is amazing but I am always confused when I hit the button to go Live and then type in the title. I don't know if I'm Live yet and unsure of when its gone Live. This is minor.
  • I would love to see the ability to go Live on multiple Facebook pages with one broadcast.
BlueJeans is a key for those in network marketing. It allows connecting with prospects and is much more personal than the phone. With the importance of Social Media in businesses, it is incredible to go live with multiple people in a FB group for training, motivation or just information. You can have team members and prospects in multiple places - and they are still getting personal training from their leader.

This wouldn't be ideal for a business where every employee lives in the same place and sees one another daily. It's perfect for those with employees or clients spread out all over.

We use BlueJeans primarily for interacting with our customers. As a training firm, we have remote participants who connect to a video conference to attend classes. We also use BlueJeans for daily internal calls with the entire organization.
The biggest problem BlueJeans fixed for us was being maxed out on video connections. Before BlueJeans, we had to limit the number of participants connecting remotely. Additionally, some clients benefit from the recorded sessions we are able to send out after a BlueJeans session.
  • The connection is always flawless. I do not think we have ever had a quality of connection issue in all of our time on BlueJeans.
  • Custom and Technical support are top notch. We rarely have needed it, but when a client has an issue connecting, support is always able to quickly fix the situation.
  • Back end technology for administering BlueJeans is great. It is simple, straightforward, and easy to use.
  • The price is always an opportunity for improvement. I pay it because I need it, but it does feel a little expensive at times.
  • Billing communication could be better as well.
  • I have no issues with the functionality as it stands today.
Great for our application, classroom training. It could be overkill if all that it is being used for is conference calls.

We use BlueJeans for all of our conferencing needs. The video quality is top-notch, the conferencing system is easy to use, and the customer support is very accessible. I especially appreciate the ability to set up video calls for "one-touch joining" as it saves so much time and planning in my day.
  • High video quality
  • Very user-friendly
  • Great customer service throughout the purchasing process AND continually now whenever we have questions
  • Some of the initial set up is a bit involved i.e. integrating with google calendar
Well suited for our external conference calls (non-video) and all our video calls for brainstorms between offices, etc.
