In our organisation BlueJeans is used to run meetings involving multiple parties, in different physical locations. The entire APPLiA - Home Appliance Europe uses it. The key business problem it addresses is the coordination across multiple geographical areas in complex topics.
  • Very easy to set up a conference call
  • The link to use for a user is always available, and can be used multiple times without expiry date
  • There is no need for a "coordinator" to join before starting the conference
  • "Muting" a participant who is on a noisy environment could be done in a easier way
  • The number of concurrent people in a call is, for some strange reason, limited to 25 - when I pay for 100 concurrent users
  • The noise cancelling technology could be improved
BlueJeans is well suited when running a meeting with people who know each other pretty well. We do not use the video feature often, while we use almost always the screen sharing capability. Some more thoughts should be dedicated to when the screen size is different between the sender and the multiple receivers and/or there is the need to share one out of many multiple screens

It is often used by our investment team members, managing partners and some of our finance team members. BlueJeans meetings are for both internal and external meetings.
  • Video quality is good
  • Audio quality is good
  • Connection with other systems (Polycom) is simple and easy
  • External parties' connection is simple and can be handled without an IT person's help
  • The Outlook plug-in sometimes give secretaries issues when booking a meeting
The use of BlueJean's video conference with overseas counterparts is most suitable. For people on the go, as long as they have data roaming, using BlueJean is not a problem.

BlueJeans has been adopted as the standard tool for Video and Audioconferencing within our group of companies. It is used mainly at Management Level in the organization, within Projects SteerCos and Management Committees, but as well within projects with partners. Key driver for its adoption was the possibility to integrate room systems already present in our subsidiaries, dial-in access for people on the move and workplace users from all over the world.
  • Integrating cisco-based room systems easily. This simplifies the way to organize meetings with minimal assistance.
  • Allowing several ways of connecting, including direct dial-in from an app or hybrid dial-in and video/presentation. Easy to connect on the way.
  • Scheduled or on-demand recording of videoconference sessions.
  • Improving the availability (and quality) of included dial-in pop numbers, e.g. in some countries where we have a strong presence, like Turkey.
  • Allowing easy insert of dial-in links for call invitations on several national numbers, so that management just need to tap on the link to connect from their phone (when on the move).
It is easy to foster adoption of Videoconferencing in a dispersed organization without established workplace technology standards. If there is an already present landscape of room systems, it's likely that only BlueJeans will allow easily to connect them to the platform. On the other side, if a company has already a well-accepted standard widely adopted (e.g. O365 Skype4Biz) the additional value provided may be lower.

We use BlueJeans across the whole organization. At our company, we use it for town halls, video interviewing and meetings with our remote teams. It helps bring face to face interaction instead of being on the phone or a conference call. The recording feature also helps for sending out important meetings and trainings to people who might have missed the meeting.
  • Video Conferencing
  • Connecting People
  • Meeting management
  • None! BlueJeans meets our needs.
Works well when you need to connect with people in different locations.

We use BlueJeans across the entire company, but mostly through sales and marketing conversations. I'm an adjunct faculty at a local university and use it there too. Primary benefit is it saves on time to first engagement and travel.
  • Easy use for the first time
  • Records calls
  • Multiple users
  • Connection quality is too often poor
  • Dropped calls when connecting internationally
  • New users are confused when installing the app
PRO: Sales and marketing calls,
CON: Board or high level meetings when more than one person is in the same location on the other end of the call

I'm a small business owner and researcher. I use BlueJeans to connect with my colleagues in the overall execution of projects and planning. I also use it to interview consumers for my client research projects.
  • It's easy to send someone a link as an invitation to a video conference versus making them download something.
  • The screenshare is very helpful for reviewing materials with colleagues.
  • I like having a dedicated link.
  • One of my colleagues always has difficulty with it. I'm not sure if it's him or his setup.
  • I'm not sure if it's related to time zones, but I stopped sending invites through the dashboard because the time got mixed up in my Outlook calendar.
It's great for meetings with new and potential clients so you get the face-to-face experience. It's great for my consumer interviews with remote participants.

We use BlueJeans to allow our statewide board of directors to attend committee meetings remotely. It saves us quite a bit on travel costs and allows us to hold meetings during inclement weather.
  • User-friendly
  • Updates to the app don't always work. We updated an app and the update didn't include the option for pairing with a room system.
  • The emailed invitation is slightly confusing. It would be nice if I could customize it.
BlueJeans is great for remote meeting attendance. It is not ideal if the user does not have a very strong internet connection. Even strong wifi isn't always sufficient to support the video feed.

BlueJeans is used across the whole company as a way to meet with colleagues across the globe. We also use it for team meetings for remote employees and for interviewing candidates. The sales teams use BlueJeans to present to customers and prospects.
  • BlueJeans is simple to set up, lots of options allow company-wide settings plus individual customisation.
  • BlueJeans makes it easy to invite new people to view the screen share or join the meeting. Great for prospective customers.
  • BlueJeans video and audio quality is generally exceptional.
  • Multiple attendees on video sometimes enlarged the image the person that last spoke and stays on them for too long.
Software demonstrations for customers and team meetings are great uses for BlueJeans. Sometimes a quick phone call is more effective and shorter time to set up.

BlueJeans is used across all our organization. We have Cisco SX-20 or Cisco room kit video terminals in all our branches and sometimes we need to connect all branches in one conference, so built-in MCU is not an option. We use BlueJeans for this. Also we have external contractors and partners and they need join our conferences sometimes. BlueJeans is perfect for this - external companies can use any kind of equipment - H323, SIP or even Windows, Mac, Android or IOS devices. Some of departments in our organization are distributed across branches and BlueJeans is very sutable for the internal meetings in such departments. It is very important, that BlueJeans is easy to use for standard tasks like joining a conference, switch mic on/off etc. We don't have any problems with this.
  • Advanced MCU functionality. We can connect as many sites as we want in one conference and everything work as it should.
  • Mobile devices support - mobile devices works well and easy for configuration without any assistance from IT.
  • Desktop platforms support - participants can join from Windows and MAC even without client software installation. It is really convenient, because sometimes users not allowed to install anything on the computers.
  • Biggest problem is a not stable voice and video quality. This is specific for Russia, because BlueJeans doesn't have datacenters in our region. We have to use DC in Europe, route is quite long and sometimes quality affected. I believe customers in the US and EU have perfect service, but in Russia BlueJeans have some room for improvement in this area :--)
  • It is really difficult to use desktop sharing. It works slow and a lot of strange artifacts on the screen. Actually we cannot use screen sharing. Please give us something like TeamViewer! BlueJeans in this case will be just a perfect collaboration platform for us!
  • It would be very nice to have ability to move participants from one room to another. For example, all branches connected to one room, assistant can see, that peoples are ready for the meeting. During the meeting, an assistant will move branches to another room for conversation with company CEO for example. It is very convenient and this functionality is missing.
Nearly perfect as MCU service (with above described limitations). Not very useful as a desktop sharing platform.

We have a daily teammeeting with 4+ participants distributed amongst several locations and different companies. We only use bluejeans in this project - it is not used company-wide. BlueJeans works seamlessly and with high quality. The user experience is great.
  • Audio Quality
  • Video Quality
  • Interoperability
  • We are not using the full functionallity - and would like to see a tailored pricing.
Having large conferences is way better than Skype for Business. Having the full interoperability with all kind of devices is a big pro.

We utilise BlueJeans on an organisational level, in numerous ways. Primarily it is used to facilitate staff meetings, one-on-one sessions, and then also as a webinar tool for our clients.

Becuase we are a remote-access business, BlueJeans connects our entire organisation.
  • Ability to schedule meetings in advance, including recurring meetings. Allows for ways to manage resources and access, and connects our teams wherever they are
  • Mobile app allows to go into low-data mode, which significantly saves on data for our travelling staff
  • Ability to record and download sessions, and smaller things such as password access and setting up everyone who joins automatically on mute
  • Screen sharing is broken a lot of the time, requiring staff to sign out and then back in, in order to use the functionality
  • Join details are not always the most intuitive
Well suited:
1. Meetings, one-on-one sessions, off-site dial ins
2. Webinars

We use BlueJeans specifically for research team meetings for one federally funded grant. So just on one grant within a department at Peabody College at Vanderbilt. It allows us to meet with research team members at other universities and our local partners at other organizations.
  • I think the setup and log in is very easy for new users. I rarely have to assist people with accessing the call.
  • I like being able to schedule and send meeting invitations within Outlook.
  • I've had good experience with the customer service.
  • The audio quality is not always great. Our room setup is not ideal for video meetings. We would like to use a desk mic or webcam mic, but we have had many issues with those, so we have to call in on our conference room phone.
  • I've had some problems with the BlueJeans app freezing on my mac laptop, but I did have some success with reaching out to customer service and making sure that I don't have several other things open at the same time.
Very well suited for individuals all calling in from their own offices/computers. Not as great for group meetings with a lot of people in one room, but I don't know that any other services actually work better, so I would still recommended people try BlueJeans first.

We use BlueJeans to meet with customers and other partners so that distance is not a consistent roadblock. We also utilize BlueJeans to broadcast our weekly information meetings, this allows us to show a speaker as well as a PowerPoint or a presentation agenda at the same time.
  • Their customer service is phenomenal
  • They are continuously improving
  • The simplicity of functionality across their platform
  • Which equipment they allow you to use as a video source ( outside of standard webcams)
  • Having more control as the administrator/ host
  • Consistent connection
At the company I am partnered with we hold weekly training sessions which we have presentations and speakers come in to share. BlueJeans has allowed us to utilize their platform so people that are a part of our team out of the state or at a distance can plug in and be a true part of the team.

BlueJeans is used for our main video conferencing solution for all users in all departments. Our client sales and marketing tend to use it the most with our IT department using it as much. We chose BlueJeans in order to begin sunsetting of our Cisco VCS architecture and due to continued issues with Skype for Business connections with non-federated external users. BlueJeans allows us to continue to take calls with clients using room systems and allow us to talk to clients who don't have them.
  • ease of use
  • compatibility with other systems
  • good UI
  • network stability
  • video quality/compression could be better for lower bandwidth connections

I currently use BlueJeans to record my podcast show.
  • It is easy to set up a session - with a url to share.
  • Navigation easy to understand and use.
  • Very quick to process a session and send a note it has been captured.
  • It does not provide any branding options to be able to add a skin/cover for artwork - graphics
  • Doesn't always connect to facebook easily
It is good for capturing video and recording a session.

We use BlueJeans to set up appointments between our clients and their clients. It's mainly utilized by me in the San Diego department, for attorneys that do not want to travel North for their appointments. It saves them expensive plane tickets, hotel stay and gas! It's a very well trusted system and if all else fails they can use the telephone portion... although it very rarely fails.
  • Super easy to use
  • Very user friendly
  • Screenshare is amazing!!
  • Mouse use for screen share
  • pen use on screen share not very accurate
  • no other complaints!
A very specific scenario where BlueJeans is well suited is for interviews between different states for clients to save money on their travels. It's so nice that the client has to just log in versus packing a suitcase, driving to the airport, getting a hotel, and missing out time away from home. That scenario alone can save a few thousand with just the click of a button.

We use BlueJeans at least twice a week to conduct our staff meetings and to do business development planning. On other occasions the product is used to video conference with overseas client prospects. We primarily use the video conference feature. It allows us to quickly and efficiently discuss issues at hand, easily share content and resolve pending issues.
  • Meeting startup and connections are fast and easy.
  • Once in a video call, controls are uncluttered and easy to access.
  • Connections are clear even when involving overseas participants.
  • When entering a new meeting, the system tells the user that their meeting has started in the Bluejeans app. But there's a time lag between this message displaying and the Bluejeans app appearing. This causes the user to think there's something amiss so they may close the invitation and attempt to start entering the meeting again causing confusion. Recommendation is to not display the message saying your meeting has started in the Bluejeans app until the app displays.
BlueJeans helps us by giving us the ability to delve deeply into problem solving and issues discussions regardless of geographic location.

  • Cloud Videoconference bridge.
  • Sharing various content.

We are a small business and therefore it's being used by our whole organization. It's mostly used by our sales team to conduct meetings with clients from across the country. It helps us qualify leads and lowers our cost to acquire a customer.
  • The user experience within the meeting is intuitive
  • The user experience from an administrative perspective is clean and simple
  • Compatible with third party camera and microphones
  • It was difficult for first-time users to login properly
BlueJeans is well suited for any sales scenario as long as the person logging in on the other end can follow simple instructions. It seems very easy but for some reason they struggled logging in with audio and video. Therefore, in our situation it became better suited for internal meetings with our sales team that had no problem logging in.

My firm, Rietland, is a member of an international association. We have meetings between the member firms to exchange ideas and to have project meetings. BlueJeans helps us to cooperate and to avoid wasting precious time, money and CO2 for traveling and meeting face-to-face.
  • Stability when having video-meetings with multiple persons.
  • The person who's talking automatically shows up in the main video window but the rest of the group stays visible. Very nice feature.
  • Meetings can be recorded very easily.
  • Screen sharing works very well.
  • A whiteboard would be a nice feature.
  • A presentation mode where the presenter's video is shown next to the presentation.
Well suited for meetings where people would otherwise have to travel. Also inviting remote attendants to a meeting.

I use BlueJeans to hold training sessions for my online groups, as well as to host online meetings with my private clients. It's a great way to secure projects with my prospective clients, to screenshare demos of what I offer, and to deliver strategies with visual support. Since I'm a one-person shop, I can't speak to other 'teams'; however, I can easily see using this tool with a team.
  • BlueJeans delivers a very easy to use platform. It is super intuitive and doesn't require a lot of training prior to use.
  • I love that BlueJeans allows me the ability to deliver inside the platform as well as over Facebook Live to my groups who prefer chat only options.
  • BlueJeans offers great packages that rival many similar platforms for what I need and they're constantly looking for ways to improve features.
  • I honestly can't think of any area where the app needs to improve or is missing functionality.
BlueJeans is excellent for doing demo calls with one-on-one clients where you need to share a screen, show step by step processes, or go over message points visually. It's also amazing if you need the flexibility of delivering webinars or training while leveraging Facebook (or even if you don't due to its standalone power).

BlueJeans is being used within my project as well as across the organization. All teams use BlueJeans for calls with our international partners. BlueJeans has been quite successful to use with our partners, allowing video, screen sharing, and audio along with recording, with relatively minimal issues.
  • Easy Interface - User friendly
  • Screen-sharing, recording capability
  • Provides dial in number for those without internet connection
  • Would be great to have different lines under an account. My entire team uses this and uses my account to schedule their calls
  • Cheaper. I compared the price of Zoom which has similar features to BlueJeans and Zoom is a third of the cost.
BlueJeans has an easy interface so both my team in Baltimore and the teams in different countries have no issues with connecting to a call. This is extremely important for my team. Most of my teams in country have internet connection however for those that do not, specifically in India, having an India specific phone number would be useful. BlueJeans has a mobile App to easily connect as well.

BlueJeans is used by individuals in our organization as a conferencing solution. It's a simple and easy way to launch conferences with external folks as well as internal employees. The feature set is immersive enough to hold demos with clients (screen sharing, calendar integrations,) as well as internal brainstorm sessions (whiteboards, file sharing.)

It’s being used across the whole organisation for our internal and external communication. All calls are now video calls as it helps globally disperse teams work closer together. I use it only a daily basis to speak to different teams around the company and external stakeholders too.
  • Open source heritage is strong and the company is always interested in feedback on how to improve the platform
  • Seems to be more reliable than others out there, works across more browsers/OS
  • Great mobile app
  • The app can ‘intelligently’ pick up BlueJeans calls from your calendar and link you to upcoming calls, but it doesn’t work half the time.
  • External users have more difficulties with the platform that our company, where we use it all the time. Might be that people are unfamiliar with it in comparison to other, larger providers.
  • Sometimes have difficulties with connection, particularly when using video/screen sharing (despite being on good internet connection). Rare occurrence.
Well suited for those that want easy to use, reliable video conference. That could be for internal team conversations, external calls with clients - even large scale events (I have seen it used with over 8,000 users on the line at once).
