BleuJeans was used across the organization as the platform to enable remote meetings, presentations and distance learning learning within classrooms.
  • Setting up a meeting with multiple participants is a breeze.
  • It gives you control over how participants can interact with you.
  • Meetings can be recorded.
  • It integrates well with the calendar so meetings are added automatically once scheduled.
  • Closed captions could be more accurate.
  • Tends to take up a lot of bandwidth.
BlueJeans is great when the entire organization needs to have the ability to schedule one-one or one-many meetings in which audience participation can be controlled.

BlueJeans is the virtual meeting tool of choice for our largest internal meetings -- across the whole organization -- as well as many client meetings for my department. I believe the executive team uses BlueJeans the most, and therefore it was implemented across the organization because of its many presentation tools and reliability for communication with video and audio as well. We began using it at least a year before the pandemic caused remote work to make it even more necessary; BlueJeans connected our organization across four time zones so that we could meet in real-time.
  • Virtual presentations.
  • Video calling.
  • Breakout rooms.
  • Allows you to blur your background for video calls.
  • BlueJeans Meetings is not as popular in the non-business world, so your clients may have to install it before you can meet with them.
  • Limited use of 25-person meeting display: it's simply not practical for smaller devices or computer screens.
  • High-quality streaming options are limited by your clients' and employees' stream speeds.
BlueJeans Meetings does a great job with Webinars and large events, with features like high-quality video and audio options. But please consider if these are what your client or audience will be able to enjoy. The accessibility options, including automatic captioning, are standard. Many internet connections will not make use of these extra features because streaming quality relies not just on your end of the video feed, but everyone connected to it and their internet connection speeds. This is a slicker version of Zoom, however, and it has a nicer feel for use than the standard video calling programs, especially Microsoft Teams. The flexibility of BlueJeans' software and apps for mobile, home, and conference room video calls and webinars allows you to meet from anywhere -- as long as your clients are willing to download yet another video calling program. If you can convince them to take up more space on their devices, BlueJeans will deliver a premium call experience, but only you can decide if it's worth the hassle and expense.

BlueJeans was a choice for quick meetings, regular 1 on 1 check-ins, online events, and virtual webinars. It is used for regular standups in our organization. Our scrum team uses it for sprint planning and meetings. Yes, it supports our business purpose by allowing us to interact lively.
  • It offers me tremendous opportunities with low prices, robust features, and a friendly interface.
  • It allows me to handle my remote meetings efficiently and collaborate in real-time.
  • Building and engaging virtual connections, contacting my clients, and working with colleagues everywhere in the world.
  • When scheduling my meetings, the process feels a bit complex, and it could be easier to save time and schedule with just a click.
  • No file sharing capabilities.
  • Lacks common webinar features.
High security, best video quality, Dolby audio, and unique features will be more helpful during WFH.

We use it for client presentations and internal meetings.
  • Easy for people who struggle with technology.
  • Control and visibility of outside users mics and speakers.
  • Quality audio and video even in low bandwidth situations
  • Difficult to one-click obtain dial in invitation for users on telephones.
Terrific for low tech outside users uncomfortable using technology. Also great for high pressure/value, as its dependable and bullet proof.

This particular app is being used mostly by our asset management team and the facilities & sales/marketing team. It's not being used across the whole organization. We use this for team meetings & our legal team mostly uses this on the other side (Client-side) to work on the legal documents.
  • User-friendly interface
  • Gives you 3 options - low, medium & high. There is an option if you are commuting while attending the Bluejeans app.
  • Overall Video & Audio quality, compared to other apps.
  • Placement of all options like Chatbox, screen sharing, Mute/unmute etc.
  • Changing of background - I do not think this is an option in BlueJeans if I am not wrong.
• Sharing options - It can be made more simple by giving options - Either share the screen or share the entire window.
  • Sometimes i have noticed that some people on other side don't get the video on time.
It's well-suited for having team meetings or when you have to discuss any legal drafts or any documentation. It also works well when you have to take some session-like surveys/polls and showcase some presentations to clients and colleagues.

I used it to meet with clients to discuss marketing campaigns. It was only used by myself and amongst other clients. It was okay to work with, however many of my clients were familiar with Zoom and much preferred their service rather than BlueJeans due to familiarity with the UI and typically better connectivity.
  • Screen share.
  • Breakout groups.
  • Chats within video meetings.
  • UI potentially more similar to Zoom since most are familiar with that.
  • Having better UI when someone is screen sharing, have the option to see the user while they are sharing screen.
  • Make link sharing more accessible and tied to calendar invites.
it is appropriate to use BlueJeans when collaborating within a team because the breakout rooms are great for this function. However, I feel that other video platforms, like Zoom, are better when it is client-facing as you do not need all the team-building functionalities.

At Georgia Tech, we used BlueJeans as our primary E-learning platform. It was used across the university in order to deliver online lectures and record in-class lectures to be later given to students. It is primarily used by the undergraduate population, especially during the pandemic, in order to attend lectures without having to be in person. All lectures were set up by either TAs or professors at the university.
  • Attractive interface.
  • Large group management.
  • Scalable.
  • Administration in calls.
  • Resizing the desktop window.
  • Live closed captioning.
  • Personal calls.
  • Polls.
  • Web-based feature parity.
BlueJeans is well-suited for lectures and other presentations in which a single person is in control of a large group. It allows for simple management of the audience, such as muting and removing if necessary, and the chat feature allows the audience to chime in. In scenarios much more personal, such as one-on-one calls, or for teams which have ongoing communication, other platforms exist which are more equipped to handle private communications or persistent data.

Bluejeans Meetings was chosen and used intermittently during certain engagements at the customer’s discretion. It was used as our primary video conferencing tool throughout the engagement, where discussion type, collaboration, and whiteboarding took place. The platform greatly supported the mentioned used cases to the extent Zoom or Hangouts would.
  • Screen share.
  • Video/audio stream quality.
  • Share control of another users screen easily.
  • Scheduling integration.
  • Differentiating features from Zoom/Hangouts.
  • Adoption in market.
Corporate video conferencing its great. Otherwise could be a bit pricy.

BlueJeans is used in my organization as the primary platform for meetings and presentations. It is used across the whole organization and is used for all types of meetings like 1:1 meetings, group meetings, exec level meetings, presentations, town halls, etc. It is a great platform and works smoothly and is especially critical in these times of virtual meetings.
  • I love the UI of BlueJeans. It is very user-intuitive and modern.
  • It is full of features. I especially love the video recording feature in which we receive an email with the video recording after the session ends.
  • It integrates seamlessly with Gmail and I can set BlueJeans meeting with one click only.
  • It does not show the list of users who have already joined. This is an important feature I feel.
  • Sharing the link with other is not very straightforward
  • It can have more features like live translation for users who don't understand the language
BlueJeans is a great platform for your virtual meeting needs. It works extremely well even in large organizations. There has been no instance of any technical failure that I have come across. It might not be the best platform for you if your team is spread across multiple geographies in which teams speak a different language as there is no live translation feature.

  • Virtual Meetings
  • Not used by a wide variety of companies, requires downloading for new users.
BlueJeans is a good product especially for the pricing for virtual meeting software. It is not used by as many organizations so it leads to user issues based on unfamiliarity.

We use it for all online meetings with Board and staff, as well as with volunteers, students, researchers, media, etc. We are a virtual organization with Board and volunteers across the country, so in-person meetings are rarely possible even if there wasn't a pandemic.
  • Meetings are always at the same link, which makes it easier for everyone.
  • It is not secure without the pass code.
If someone has a poor or spotty Internet connection, they often freeze or lose their video.

Bluejeans is a popular video conferencing platform that is used organization-wide for meetings and collaboration between different teams, from various functions like sales, IT, finance & HR as well as within people from these functions located across a number of geographical locations. Day to day calls between teams allows everyone to stay up to date with operational matters and sessions on planning projects or strategic topics also enable to plan and align on a broad list of business goals.
  • It is really useful for the IT team to support employees with their problems by allowing them to get into a call, discuss & troubleshoot the issue and then [share] screens to easily understand and then resolve a problem.
  • When a large audience is having a call, for example, HR rolling out a new policy to a huge number of employees, the Q&A section gives the opportunity to everyone to ask their questions and get answers in a well-organized way.
  • Another useful feature is that you can record your sessions, for example, if you are conducting training of employees or users on a new application or process, the session can be recorded and later used by people who could not attend or as a refresher.
  • Bluejeans could definitely improve the latency and smoothness of call, especially when a number of people are joining it, however, I am sure this is a continuous improvement process and they are already working on it. This experience is the most important aspect of such platforms.
  • Integration of bluejeans into our work accounts or applications could be improved to have a more convenient UX for example if you have an MS 365 work account and Bluejeans for meetings.
  • Another interesting functionality that could be added is a guiding tutorial on how to use the blue jeans interface when someone starts using it on any device for the first time, [especially] for guest users on the web version.
Bluejeans has a very wide use case list but if you ask me, it is a great tool if you want to collaborate with users who are already well versed with its UI or have been using it for a while and when the total number of people in the session [is] about 50. It is costly though, so if you have a work account with which a collaboration tool comes for free and is almost as powerful as BJ, then you might want to think about your selection of platform.

We use BlueJeans on a daily basis across the company for scheduling, hosting and attending meetings. These meetings often include both internal and external attendees, and we will often use BlueJeans Primetime when hosting an event with a large number of attendees. The BlueJeans platform allows us to collaborate together in real time even though many of our team members are attending remotely from locations across the country. It facilitates easy communication, content sharing and collaboration.
  • Collaboration.
  • Content sharing.
  • Group facilitation.
  • Hosting large leetings.
  • Recording and sharing events.
  • Virtual face to face interaction.
  • New user connectivity can be challenging.
  • First-time screen sharing on Mac requires quit/restart.
  • Joining from the mobile app and jumping between the call and the app can sometimes be challenging.
I have found BlueJeans to be very user friendly and easy to navigate, especially after having used it only once or twice. I have used many other types of meeting/conferencing systems and I believe the BlueJeans is one of the best. I was greatly impressed with the ease with BlueJeans interfaced with the conference room systems in our office as sharing content was as simple and intuitive as plugging in.

We use BlueJeans between attorneys in our office and our clients who are scattered around the world. Our calls are confidential and privileged. The discussions we hold are highly strategic. Stability and communication in a free-flowing yet confidential manner are important. BlueJeans has been the best at delivering this service.
  • Solid video and audio.
  • Rare interruptions or down time.
  • Easy to use.
  • I would like it to be easier to flip between different users screens.
  • Sometimes, though rarely, there is a delay in getting someone's video.
I am located in Northern New England, USA. My clients are located in Boston, New York, Paris, London, Geneva, Tokyo, Taipei, Beijing, and Shanghai as well as elsewhere. We have simply found that meetings can be organized and held pulling all together without interruption or difficulty and so far with enormous discretion.

I use it for my meetings with Verizon as it is the platform they use virtual meetings. A few of us in OFS purchased the [BlueJeans Meetings] service specifically to enable easier collaboration with our customers/partners who use it as their corporate platform.
  • It is very easy to set up and initiate meetings.
  • It is feature rich and handles all meeting functions well.
  • There are never delays or outages during meetings.
  • I like it the way it is.
I have used it as the platform for meetings that included slides, charts, videos and live product/solution demos and there was never a hiccup. Virtual meetings however are not a replacement for personal contact which provides a richer context and opportunities to discuss nuanced concepts and arguments.

We are using BlueJeans in place of our standard in-person video conferences. We are using BlueJeans for administrative meetings, board meetings, and in some cases classroom instruction. All groups across our organization at one point were using BlueJeans. BlueJeans has been our organization's virtual solution especially due to COVID and the need for social distancing.
  • Content Delivery
  • Room and Participant Management
  • Windows flexibility with device integration
  • 323 Connectivity (We use Poly Infrastructure for bridging)
  • Recording ease
  • Multimedia Delivery is challenging
  • Scheduling limitations for multiple instances. (Erratic schedules)
As a singular delivery product, BlueJeans is more than adequate and suits our users' needs in both Meetings and Events. I find BlueJeans as easy to use or adapt to as any other virtually delivery competitor. I have used Zoom and Webex and while there are some slight differences I find that it is more of a personal preference. I personally like BlueJeans and have not found anything that would make me want to look for another product.

We use BlueJeans Meetings for a variety of meeting sessions, including internal briefings and external conferences. I work in the corporate finance department, which reports up to and works directly with our CFO. I am uncertain who all else uses the platform, but we've used the platform to interact with Marketing and C-suite. For some reason, the older people in our org prefer this platform...

Every week, I host a meeting with retirees for Senior Social Hour. We have had people join us from across the United States and Canada. In the past year, I learned that many Seniors may not know much about videoconferencing. BlueJeans offers an easy to use tool for them to connect, become engaged, learn new skills, and meet other Seniors while keeping them physically safe. Some weeks we have Seniors share a presentation about a favorite vacation or their personal interest. BlueJeans is easy to join and provides a quality presentation. I am able to record the sessions and share with others who were unable to attend the meeting.
  • Simple login process.
  • Easy to schedule meetings.
  • Has a seamless mobile and PC experience.
  • Better troubleshooting; especially issues with audio.
  • Compress videos from recordings.
  • Allow better editing functions for videos.
Aside from the Senior Social Hour, I also use video conferencing to host networking meetings with other business owners. Most businesses use Zoom and they want to use Zoom. While I like to promote using BlueJeans, many business owners struggle to use it. I have to admit, the consistency of performance on Zoom is much better. One of my seniors has to change his audio settings every time he joins BlueJeans. He gets a bit annoyed, but knows this is the tool I prefer. I created a video SHOWING Seniors how to log into BlueJeans (including written directions) as BlueJeans just provides a basic tutorial. Seniors must be shown how to do something in real time for them to learn a new skill. They get frustrated and mentally shutdown if they don't understand how something works.

It’s being used for national sales meetings, committee meetings and by senior staff to disseminate information as well as team building.
  • Sales meeting getting changed across to all staff - this is invaluable.
  • Team building g creating cohesion having a laugh.
  • It helps staff in lockdown have some time out and helps their mental well being.
  • Poor internet is at times problematic but this is outside your control.
  • Have the meetings clearly displaying the different time zones.

The Temple of the People is a religious organization whose members met on a regular basis, before the COVID-19 pandemic, in person in order to conduct study classes and Sunday services. Once the COVID-19 shutdown began, we started using BlueJeans on my recommendation (due to previous experience using it for various meetings in my capacity as an IT professional). Though the group was initially resistant to using BlueJeans, due to a general favoritism towards Zoom, over time we have grown used to the platform and have been pleased by the numerous new feature releases and quality improvements that have taken place over the last several months. We use BlueJeans at least three times a week, every week, to conduct online meetings and services, and we have found it to be a wonderful gateway allowing us to open up our meetings to people who are distant from our primary geographical location. Since we started using it, our membership has grown internationally and our sense of connectedness has measurably increased.
  • Easy to use for those who have little technical expertise, especially older participants.
  • Support team is helpful and responsive when we have issues or questions.
  • Active new feature development has met many of our needs over time.
  • Uptime and stability have been good overall and have improved over time.
  • Recently, we've had issues where changing the view format (speaker only, gallery view, speaker plus participants) has caused the interface to freeze in an intermediate state.
  • Our current subscription level only allows for one admin login, which makes it challenging when we want to, for instance, delegate screen sharing to another user but block all other users from sharing (which older inexperienced users sometimes do accidentally).
  • Inexperienced users have some trouble keeping themselves on mute while others are speaking; would be nice to give admins more control in addition to having to hover over the mute button for each participant.
  • Would be ideal to have better support for our specific use case when running classes: we have a session leader (other than the admin) and participants are recognized by the leader by raising their hands in order, after which they unmute themselves and offer comments; our current process is workable but not ideal.
We have mostly used BlueJeans for large group meetings of two types: discussion groups with a set topic and multiple participants, and religious services with limited speakers and multiple attendees who listen and watch but do not contribute. We've found BlueJeans to work well in both scenarios, though the former case is better supported by native BlueJeans functionality than the latter. For services, admins like myself must monitor throughout to make sure less experienced users don't inadvertently start sharing their screens or take themselves off mute. It would be nice to have a "presentation mode" that would make it easier to keep everyone aside from a select few on mute with no ability to interrupt, unless so designated by the admin.

We use BJ for setting internal meetings, that is, inside CCC. We in our team use BJ frequently, about 4 times per week, for our standup and sprint meetings. We also use it when we have an important meeting.
  • Show online people.
  • The ability for making mute and turning on/off camera.
  • The ability of raise hand.
  • Chat panel.
  • Change background.
  • The ability to connect via phone number and internet.
  • BJ does not provide the ability to control someone's screen (screen control).
Generally, BlueJeans Meetings is good, some of them have been mentioned in previous questions plus its quality for sound. One thing, when our company has a big meeting (one meeting every two months) that more than 500 people attend, it does not use BlueJeans Meetings, it uses Microsoft Teams. I do not know why they prefer Teams. Finally, if BlueJeans Meetings can provide the feature for the screens control, it would be great.

We use BlueJeans Meetings to communicate virtually. We used to use it across the whole organization, but not anymore. When that occurred it was used to screen share and communicate.
  • BlueJeans has good hardware that connects well with computers.
  • The camera has good focus and quality.
  • Screen sharing capabilities are good.
  • It is no longer popularly used within the teams.
  • The branding behind it isn't great.
[BlueJeans Meetings] is great for screen sharing and communicating with large groups. It honestly has the same capabilities as Zoom so I am unsure why it is not used as often as Zoom. It is not as appropriate for casual conversations such as personal 1:1 with direct reports. For example, most of the time, the camera is on.
