I used Webcamconsult, because it also complied with the privacy laws here. This was more expensive than Blue Jeans, and not nearly as user friendly. Also, it didn't look professional or even nice, whereas with BlueJeans I can have meetings with anyone and present myself confidently and in a professional way.

Give BlueJeans a try

BlueJeans has the best meeting experience for team meetings -- good audio and video quality and good scheduling features.
It is also well suited for trainings given the unique video upload feature and good handling of breakout rooms.

I initially selected BlueJeans over Zoom because I understood there was no questionable ethics behind BlueJeans and it was recommended by a coworker. I continued to used BlueJeans because it was simple and easy to use and had a monthly subscription which I prefered to automatically having to pay upfront for the year.

The landscape has changed considerably in the years since we started with BlueJeans but we originally selected it because it would allow for much larger meetings than Skype, had much better audio and video quality than another vendor we used (whose name escapes me at the moment), the recording features were superior and the multiple ways and devices by which users can connect were ahead of the competition.

I think BlueJeans stacks up well against all its competition in this virtual meeting marketplace. BlueJeans has all the key features my users want and if they do not have a feature, BlueJeans has always taken our feedback and made improvements on their product in the requested area.

Only Bluejeans work well without any problem.
All the others give me some trouble on the quality and with devices (microphone or speaker)

[BlueJeans Meetings] stacks up well. The audio is excellent. My customers have never heard of it and they complain about getting accustomed to another UI. That is why I use Zoom for customer calls. Everyone now knows Zoom.

Very similar experience to ZOOM, RingCentral, WebEx, or Teams. Would be great if all those vendors worked on standards for buttons and interactions as each vendor led meeting I'm involved with uses a different flavor of the above.

For smaller companies, this platform is secure, user friendly, and has all the standard benefits of a video calling service. It has good features for video calling. This is the best platform with easy to install with good UX/UI. It supports MAC, Windows, Linux, Android...It's easy to use and operate.

I have extensive experience with multiple meeting platforms, starting with enterprise-class platforms such as GoToMeeting and WebEx, and more accessible commercial products including Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts (or whatever they're calling it this month), and many others.

From my perspective, BlueJeans blows the doors off every competitor I have looked at or used, except in the area of video quality (which I previously discussed). Even there, video quality is high enough that it is not even close to being a deal-breaker for me.

As a former enthusiastic user and advocate/evangelist for Zoom, I can easily say that the deciding factors that drew me to BlueJeans come down to three words: Value, Credibility, and Security.

Above all: quality of audio and video... it's impeccable! Zoom is very popular and easy to use but we have encountered a lot of trouble with sound and video during presentations and training sessions.
We are also concerned about security--Zoom is vulnerable. Coca-Cola Enterprises in Costa Rica recommended BlueJeans to us precisely because of safety issues. We have switched and do not regret it!

My BlueJeans Review

I like BlueJeans' user interface and low latency during video calls. I also like that I can choose certain windows to share instead of displaying everything I have open. One thing that I don't like about BlueJeans though, since the merger, is that I have tons of issues with choppy video and audio. I have an enterprise-grade router and 1Gb/s internet, so I know it isn't that. It's not just me who experiences this either, it's everyone on my team. It's very unfortunate because every now and then we have to leave our BlueJeans meeting and jump over to Zoom. My CEO got so fed up with choppy calls with really important customers that she started paying for her own Zoom account. I stuck with BlueJeans for right now because my tech team is large enough, and it would be a pain to migrate 8 people over to a new platform. Just a heads-up.

I began really investigating the various platforms for video conferencing early in 2020 and found many had similar features. But, BlueJeans seemed to have some of the more specific features that we were looking for. Again, to my business, the ability to collaborate via a whiteboard is crucial. As I was looking for a solution with that feature, very few popped up. I'm not sure even today who else has the whiteboard feature. But, I'm sure others do. Beyond the whiteboard, we just really needed a solution which is easy to use with good audio and video quality and we've found that with BlueJeans. I have been more than satisfied with my selection.

Overall, the feature set and functionality in BlueJeans is fairly similar across the board of the other high rollers in the VC world, but the simplicity of joining is unparalleled from my experience. The only thing I would say is that if you use Teams, then there may not necessarily be a requirement for it if you don't have any issues with the Teams meeting experience, otherwise, I would say BlueJeans is the king of cloud video meetings.

BlueJeans is far more user-friendly than Teams and far more reliable than Zoom.

The audio and video are far superior on BlueJeans, and it is much more accessible for participants who have sight loss.
