  • Integration with Google Calendars
  • The quality of the calls.
  • Information about who is in the call and how.
  • Plan concurrent meetings with the same ID.
  • PIN for moderators. I think it is important to have them but I have been in many calls where we could not go ahead because the moderator is not there. It is a bit frustrating, it should be easier to have meetings without PINs or allow others to own the meeting as well. Most of our meetings should not need a moderator PIN.
  • Whiteboard: It is not very easy to use, I have worked with other whiteboards that are more intuitive.

  • Allows for multiple people to teleconference in a uniquely generated room attached to a meeting.
  • It is confusing and difficult to set up preferences. For example, choosing your own meeting ID or selecting if the meeting requires a moderator to start it. Almost every single person in our org sets up their meeting incorrectly the first time they lead a meeting leading to a variety of issues.
  • The interface is very buggy. Sometimes I frequently cannot trigger the menu to drop down from the top of the screen in order to mute/unmute myself. My default audio/video input and output never seems to work properly when I am switching from headphone to speakers to room audio.
  • Audio and video quality are not as good as competitors (Skype, Google Hangout, Slack, Zoom). Frequently my team will use other methods to video chat 1 on 1 as they are easier and less issue-prone.

  • BlueJeans enables a large number of people to be on a call. For example, when our CEO needs to communicate with the entire company across all 5 European locations.
  • BlueJeans works well when I schedule meetings from my manager's calendar, as Outlook automatically places his BlueJeans details rather than mine.
  • BlueJeans silent entry system works well when there are multiple people on the call calling in from multiple locations. It is helpful as if they enter 5 minutes late it doesn't disturb the flow of conversation in the meeting.
  • BlueJeans works well when showing presentations in our boardroom. It is really easy to share screens and do IT demonstrations.
  • It would be helpful if the meeting organizer didn't have to open the line with their credentials in order to start.
  • I think it would be good if when having a large call with multiple rooms that the screen splits between all video callers. Other times, it flickers between different screens even if the person on the other screens isn't speaking.
  • It would be great if BlueJeans had an added chat feature so that people could share links whilst talking on video or voice.

  • Connectivity
  • Features such as the ability to turn off video and mic easily.
  • Share screen works well.
  • Integration with MS Outlook for quick meeting setups.
  • The biggest complaint is when I'm hosting a meeting and the bar above cannot be moved! I really wish this was unlocked where it could be moved to the bottom of my screen or side.

  • Call connection and sound/video quality is very good.
  • Screen sharing is well done and quick.
  • It's a very well priced product.
  • It may already have this feature and I haven't seen it but annotating the screen would be useful.
  • As it's the first software of its kind I've used, I honestly don't know what else it could do, it's very good.

  • Screen sharing is a strong point.
  • Very user friendly, trusted and I love the collaboration effectiveness
  • Its also very colorful and I love the startup, 'Welcome to BlueJeans'
  • More interactive training sessions to attract more users.
  • Allowing the participants of a meeting more control.
  • The ability to have large scale meetings (200+ participants)
  • More interactive training for new users

  • The screen sharing feature, great for tutorials or webinars with all foreign teams.
  • Also, chat has been helpful, and certainly, the Google Calendar and SalesForce integration that allows to have every single thing tracked is great!
  • Love that there is no limit for people logged into and also that it's easy to use from TV or almost every device.
  • Sometimes the connection is unstable when dialing via phone number.
  • It's not clear for me or my colleagues who are the admin and how to start a meeting as the admin. What's the difference between each roll?
  • I think most clients don't realize its always the same ID for my meetings, not sure how we could make that more clear.

  • Room system quality is very high.
  • Calendar integration with Google works well.
  • Onboarding new users is pretty straightforward.
  • BlueJeans struggles to dynamically adapt call quality when the internet connection becomes unstable. We have lots of call quality and dropped call issues on a regular basis.
  • We would like to see more than 9 video tiles on large group calls. Unfortunately, there's no way to do that, so you don't get to see most of the other people in the call.
  • Room systems are a bit complex to set up and deploy. Nothing crazy, but definitely not plug-and-play for any non-IT employee to handle on their own.

  • Easy Access: multiple ways to join a meeting
  • Ease of use: screen sharing, sign-on, etc.
  • Recording of meeting turn around time very quick.
  • I like BlueJeans; however, many of our members are switching to Zoom as they cite the options in the settings are more straight-forward. They can go to settings and start at the top and work down and understand exactly what the settings will do
  • Others cite they would like BlueJeans to be more intuitive. For example, when they use breakout rooms the buttons to return are easily accessible- they are not afraid to get lost by exploring features in Zoom
  • They also cite the design and look of the product. I'm not sure what that means. Personally I prefer BlueJeans and have started several superintendents with it. However, I also have to serve my partners' preferences as well. This is a critical time because many students are using the products and their preferences will be shaped during a time where teleconferencing software use is the highest in educational history.

  • Wide variety of platforms available to be used on.
  • Simple process of creating meetings and inviting attendees.
  • A good ability to deploy the software to users throughout the organisation.
  • The application is missing a few features that would be handy.
  • No ability to sync your meetings with the Outlook App calendar on your phone.
  • Can be expensive.

  • Memorable name.
  • Sends out calendar invites automatically.
  • Remembers previously used email addresses.
  • Unstable. If I as host lose connection, everyone gets dropped.
  • Poor information included. No confirming of date/time in outreach emails, time zone info not included.
  • Support is poor. They mean well, but don't know very much. I've pointed stuff out to them.

  • Easily add it into a meeting invite
  • Ability to record session
  • Quality of meeting is good
  • Most companies do not utilize and think they need to download an application
  • Sometimes companies are not able to launch application because it's blocked from a security standpoint.
  • Sometimes BlueJeans just doesn't launch or work properly.

  • Ease of connecting - conferencing equipment on rooms display scheduled meetings, and they can be joined with a single tap.
  • Screen sharing through URL - when in a room, you can generate a URL so that guests can share their screens without the need to set up a conference.
  • Phone app offers an online and offline connections - you can use your data or voice plan to join a meeting.
  • Landline numbers are wrong or unresponsive sometimes.
  • When a temporary conference number is created for a specific meeting, and it's rescheduled, sometimes it expires and impacts the start of the meetings.
