Breezy HR is my favorite tool for HR. It has advanced features and has been really helpful for our HR department. It saved time that we initially spent in posting job ads. Also it helped finding the right candidates that are real people. I like the graphical view about the number of applications and how many candidates the view job post. It is also very simple to sort the applicants with the software. The interface is easy to use and looks nice.
  • Simple to use interface.
  • Easy to post new job openings.
  • Great to manage schedules.
  • Drag and drop makes it easy to integrate.
  • It has had a few bugs since we've been using it.
  • It doesn't post to every job board that you might want it to.
  • I wish it was less expensive.
Breezy HR is a great HR tool for small and mid sized companies. It works great as a centralized hiring software.

Breezy is an applicant tracking system that logs candidate applications, organizes them and tracks them through the hiring process.
  • Good features
  • Integration abilities
  • Manages scheduling
  • System full of glitches.
  • Customer support lacks accountability, professionalism, knowledge, and follow-through.
  • Expanding tabs makes vital information not visible. Serious user interface issues.
  • System outages during business hours.
  • System is not intuitive.
  • Employees become vitriolic if given negative feedback.
  • Constant technical problems.
  • Integrations constantly fail and have to be redone.
Breezy would be a good product for someone who is not used to using an ATS. If you are an HR professional who has used ATS systems before, Breezy would cause a lot of frustrations. It doesn't perform on the level that software available in 2020 should. You have to constantly refresh your browser, our posted jobs don't feed into Indeed even though they're supposed to. Calendar integrations fail at least once a week, causing me to have to reschedule interviews. There are so many random bugs and glitches in this system that need to be fixed. If you have hiring deadlines to meet, Breezy is not for you. It goes down all of the time and getting support is very challenging.

My team uses it as part of our recruitment process. It is really good for making you more efficient in your hiring process. There are a lot of excellent automation features that can save your team a ton of time and cut down on redundant work, prior to this we would often have team members performing the same task (sending emails to candidates for example) simultaneously which lead to unwanted duplication. It also has really great pipeline management for moving candidates through your hiring process. My team also loves the user interface of Breezy, it is really simple to navigate and gorgeous to look at in addition to being fairly customizable. I love the drag and drop functionality of it. It also improves collaboration between different people that are stakeholders in your recruitment process.

And their chrome add-on is pretty decent for sourcing candidates.
  • Really great pipeline management for moving candidates through your recruitment process.
  • Very nice looking interface that is also really easy to use.
  • Built around facilitating collaboration.
  • Excellent automation tools.
  • It might be expensive if you are a small business or a startup.
  • Email functionality could use more options.
  • Analytics arent as good as the ATS we used prior to this.
It's really good if you want an easy to use ATS that will be simple to implement. My team was able to get up and running with this in a matter of days. If your hiring team is mid to large sized then it's really perfect for you. The pricing might be an issue if you are a smaller company. And I am not sure if this is built for recruitment firms or if you do a lot of contract based hiring. Other than that, it's really great. They even have a free trial/version that you can use to test it out.

Breezy is used by HR to fill three campuses worth of employees. We primarily use it to identify short-term needs, and vet long-term potential in employees. The incentive to bring this program in was to eliminate the tedious work that often comes in HR, and allow us to focus more on hiring and learning about the personalities of our potential employees. It is being used by the HR Director, who doles out responsibilities to other "hiring managers" at each campus. It addresses several problems: high turnover, made by bad hiring choices; a lack of time to spend on vetting good candidates; supplemental help when it comes to paperwork (including tedious background checks, reference checks, and information that could easily remove an applicant from the process, but we'd spend a long time on).

  • Organization. It provided an incredible way to streamline applicants and their place in the process. With a strong search capability, you can find anyone no matter where they are in the process. And you can see if they've applied elsewhere in your company.
  • User friendliness. Not everyone understands technology. Even more so when web programs are involved. I am well versed in programs like these, and did a lot of vetting before making our purchase, so training came easy. It also - to our happiness - came easily to people who've never seen these programs. Breezy was there to help with the issues we had understanding; however, we didn't need them much because the interface was just that easy.
  • Options. They have third party integrations, and are willing to open to more. They want to make their program useful in more than one way. Breezy crew worked with us to link to our HRIS system. They also have a great many integrations that are relevant to any small business (we are not small, but this would be a great choice for a small company just starting out and seeking to understand what they need).
  • Indeed makes life difficult for them. If you have another Indeed account, you want to make sure it is all the way gone before you sign up. Otherwise, your positions won't show up. Indeed won't tell you this; instead, you have to sift through what information you do have and hope to close the account yourself. Breezy was there to help in this process, but it took some time (from Indeed) to get a clear answer.
  • Cost. If you want all of the options, cost will hit you hard - especially if you are a small business. There are pricing tiers, but - again - if you want the whole package, it is a bit pricey.
  • I wish I could click outside of the opened box and not have what I'm working on go away...
We would hire tons of bad employees, people who simply didn't fit in the school, and would be stuck wondering why it kept happening. We kept sourcing from the same places Breezy did, so we couldn't figure out what was going wrong. When we got Breezy, we figured out that it was our messaging. Breezy gave us the ability to frame our message and not have to worry about how it would be implemented across multiple sites. We now have a unified message, and are able to put the questionnaires in to place, securing more relevant hires. Not all of them are perfect, but a lot more are sticking around, and are very capable individuals.

We are using it to manage our recruitment. It is currently being used by my team. It's really good at creating and managing a pipeline of candidates and keeping your hiring team organised. It's also surprisingly feature packed. It also has a really good pre built template section that saves you a ton of time. We also use it to track communication with the applicants. Previously that was being managed a different way and keeping the entire team up to date on different applicants was a real challenge. This lets us all collaborate while we are communicating with any candidates. In fact working as a team is one of the biggest benefits we have realized when we moved to using this. It lets us all stay on the same page and keep track of our candidates, the pipeline and the hiring process as a whole.
  • Excellent pipeline management for candidates.
  • The user interface is fantastic. Easy to use and it looks really nice.
  • Pricing is excellent for the features it offers.
  • Tons of ways to automate your hiring (emails, notes etc)
  • Initial set up can be daunting.
  • I didnt much care for the mobile experience. It doesnt work as well as the desktop browser version does.
It's really good if you are looking to create a simple, straightforward pipeline of your hiring process. It's pretty good at keeping track of communication with candidates as well. Plus it has a ton of templates you can use so you can save a bunch of time while posting jobs or moving people through your hiring process.

For our HR team, Breezy HR has been a lifesaver. We are a 80+ person team with the intent to double within the next year, and a huge part of that growth is (obviously) hiring new people. Breezy helps us streamline our hiring process without breaking our budget.
  • Low-Cost: Compared to its enterprise-level alternatives, Breezy is incredibly inexpensive. There are very few cost-effective hiring softwares to choose from, and we were under the impression that we'd be spending thousands to get a system that helps us like Breezy does.
  • All in one solution: For small teams, you really only need Breezy to manage your hiring funnel.
  • Customer Support: I've chatted with customer support for everything from product troubleshooting to changing my billing structure, and they were very accommodating and resolved my issues quickly.
  • Job Board Integrations: Through Breezy, you can post to 40+ job boards (many that are totally free). We have found that we get a significant number of candidates from this with no additional money spent.
  • Their calendar functionality is pretty clunky. For example, I am able to use the platform to easily propose times to multiple candidates, but it doesn't mark the option as unavailable once the candidate has booked the time. This has led me to be double-booked on multiple occasions. (We now just use a Calendly link).
  • You're able to create a careers web page that automatically lists open jobs through Breezy, which is nice, but the customization is incredibly limited.
  • While you can manage your whole hiring funnel from Breezy, it lacks the automation and other functions of some of the high dollar platforms.
  • Breezy doesn't offer any templates or suggestions with how to build your funnel, so I can imagine that many customers miss out on functionality that could help streamline their workflow. I think they could really benefit from some 'getting started' suggestions and guides.
Breezy is well suited for:

  • Companies hiring less than 5 people/month (5 is a little bit arbitrary, but I think if you're consistently hiring 5+ people, you should check out the enterprise tools).
  • Small HR teams.
  • Startups that have low hiring budgets and unpredictable growth.

Breezy isn't suited for:

  • Companies with robust HR organizations that are hiring 5+ people/month.
  • Companies hiring for technical roles (you'd be better off going with a platform that specializes in the particular skills assessments you'll want to use).

Breezy HR really helps simplify the onboarding process of hires for our owners. Breezy HR makes it possible to complete the entire interview process online with online messaging, electronic contracts, and live video interviews. Our owners use Breezy HR to hire employees and it gives our owners a nice back-end system to use for the entire process rather than relying on going to multiple Craigslist and Indeed ads.
  • Breezy HR really simplifies the entire hiring and onboarding process. It's great to be able to manage everything from a single dashboard.
  • It easily allows to conduct interviews remotely with its video system. This is great for making hires in a different state or if you are just out of town temporarily.
  • It's easy to track the hiring process and see what steps still need to be completed by you or the potential hire to move to the next step in the timeline.
  • One of the biggest issues we've had is the limited contract space. Breezy HR allows use to upload a contract in the system so you don't also have to use a third-party like Docusign. Which is great, however, it only allows one contract. This can make it difficult if you want to hire for different positions within the company. But, other than that, the system is great.
Breezy HR is great for small to medium sized businesses that don't want to spend a lot of time managing the recruitment process. With its drag-and-drop interface it's easy for anyone to use and learn the system. If you are looking to hire for a lot of different positions that each need their own recruitment process and contracts, then Breezy HR may not be the right choice for you. However, it is priced well and easy to use.

We use Breezy across our whole company of ~25 employees to manage the recruiting process. This includes creating a requisition, syndicating it to our website via the embedded widget, and syndicating to other third-party online job aggregators for maximum reach. From there, we use Breezy to track inbound (and referred / internally sourced) candidates through the evaluation process from initial screening through hiring.
  • The user interface is really easy to pick up, and so none of our users have required any training to get going.
  • The template format makes it easy to ensure that no matter who creates a requisition it follows a similar format. It's also possible to copy/clone past requisitions to save the effort of re-entering the boilerplate "about us" etc.
  • The default landing page that Breezy provides has the right amount of customization without being overwhelming or feeling complicated.
  • The ability to configure real-time notifications via Slack is nice. If you've got a difficult requisition to fill, it makes it easy to be highly responsive to high quality inbound candidates.
  • It was really simple to embed their widget onto our own jobs page as well.
  • The role and permissions definitions are relatively limited so we pretty quickly wind up having to make many people "Admin" level roles. It isn't a problem for our company, but it might be an issue for larger deployments or more complex scenarios.
  • It would be nice if the system could "poke" team members when they've got candidates lingering too long in various pipeline stages.
Breezy has been a great solution for coordinating hiring process across our geographically distributed team. It was incredibly simple to setup (an hour?) and embed in our own website.
