As fist time business owners, we didn't how to coordinate for phone service. We were recommended to reach out to Broadvoice (BV). We didn't know much but quickly realized how simple and easy BV made everything. When it comes to this type of service, most people are more concerned with quick and timely support services. Simply put, BV was all that and more. They managed getting our equipment to us and even after many years, they sent us updated equipment so that we'd stay current so as to not disrupt our business. I would definitely recommend BV to any business owner. We are still with them and they are still helpful as always.
  • BV ensured as technology improved, they would ensure business' got the most current equipment
  • They designed their account to be simple for customers to understand and not so complicated to where you have no idea what you are looking at like most business services.
  • Support, we only needed to call BV maybe 3-5 times for minor issue and got quick support and great follow up when they had to get back to us.
  • All-in-All, I'd say it's about customer service these days and BV does a great job.
Cons
  • I'm sure there area some but for our business, BV has pretty much got everything covered for us.
I can't think of much where it's less appropriate except with internet goes down. In that case, we're all suffering at that point. However, when you're out and about you can have your office call forwarded directly to your cell phone and not miss a call. The caller would think they called your office number. Also, you can have establish a business number and use an app on your phone to call clients and it would show up as your business on their end. I think that is so cool.

We make a lot of outgoing calls to volunteers and partnering companies and Broadvoice is helpful to be able to have them calling out from the company line instead of their personal phone calls.

  • We were never notified when the app changed and the version we had was no longer supported
  • Video Tutorials of how that could be used to train employees
When we are working remotely and placing outgoing calls Broadvoice is a great way to have our business name show up, which results in more calls being answered as opposed to an employee's phone number being displayed. Remote workers have full access to everything their desk phone would provide them so they don't feel like they are missing out on anything.

We use this for our main phone system and those of us in the office use the Communicator to communicate with field employees via text
  • Allows you to customize your phone system
  • Has 24-7 customer support on line and by phone
  • Provides Training Up Front on system
Cons
  • A lot of email communicating during implementation(which is great!) but was a little confused and what role each person was playing in our new service as we got new phones and new service.
Provides excellent support which is especially important upon implementation and user friendly websites. Communicator is favorite part!

We use Broadvoice with our new phone system and Love it! It has proven to be a Great Investment. I would recommend them and the services they provide. We haven't had any issues and their product is working as promised. We called a few times when we first started using the product to iron out some things on our side but they were very quick to respond and get it taken care of.

Broadvoice is a great tool for my office. I love that I am able to use this system from my work phone as well as my personal phone. They are always able to help when the phones need an update.

I recently had a problem with some of my phones where they were not showing to correct call history. I was able to reach out to Broadvoice and get help almost immediately! The team was wonderful and easy to work with. They also ensured that all phones were up to date and rather than just the one I called about. I loved that they went above and beyond to help with my simple request.
