We use Broadvoice at Earthwatch for all our telecommunication. For all phone calls coming in from our volunteers and partners to calls within the organization. It works great for remote-working employees as well.
  • Making an organizations phone system easy to use
Cons
  • Adding contacts from a directory seems easy enough, but still complicated
I had a little glitch where people that were being transferred to my line were being dropped. I reached out to Broadvoice's customer services & was helped very quickly. The agent knew what he was talking about & was able to resolve the issue within that same day.

I use Broadvoice when working from home and need to call customers. I also use it at work when I need to text customers but do not want to give away my personal phone number. Broadvoice helps me to control my privacy while being able to log on and log off of work calls when needed.
  • Bringing multiple people into important conversations
  • Sends voicemails to emails so I can listen from anywhere that I have internet even if I don't have my phone with me
  • Keeps my personal phone number private
Cons
  • Sometimes it does not connect to Bluetooth automatically
Broadvoice is well suited when working from home. It is also useful when customers want a text reminder but you don't want them to have your personal phone number. The only improvement in texting that I would like to see is the ability to send and receive photos. Also, being able to log off when you do not want to receive work calls is especially useful.

Broadvoice , Great service and easy to use. Would recommend

I currently handle all incoming calls for our company, and as a growing company, we order new phones regularly. We need a company who is reliable in availability for questions, available for phone usage, and easy to use. We also require the ability to switch voicemail recordings based on holidays and days of the week easily. We have found that Broadvoice excels at all of these things.
  • Easy to use
  • Great response time
  • Very helpful
Cons
  • A written instruction manual would be great to refer back to
  • Monthly emails on any updated features
  • Quarterly updates on new products
When turning over voicemails as best fits our needs, Broadvoice is very easy to navigate and upload new audio files. They are also very accessible, when working remotely on occasion, it is very easy to move main line calls from one persons phone to other. The same can also be said for using the mobile app to answer calls when out of the office.

We have about 175 users spread throughout the state. Some work from home and some work in one of our nine locations. Even before COVID we needed a phone system that was easy to setup and that was mobile. We started using Broadvoice in 2018 after moving away from an on-prem phone system. Broadvoice was able to bring over all of our call flows and phone numbers making it easy for us to migrate over from the existing system.
  • Easy portal interface
  • Helpful tech support
  • SD-WAN solution that works well
Cons
  • Mobile app needs to be revamped in my opinion.
  • Getting additional phones that are programmed takes too long I believe.
I think that for the majority of features, Broadvoice does a good job. They make migration very easy when porting over complicated call flows. Most staff, even non-technical staff are able to navigate the portal pretty easily. For users who use the mobile app, they seem to have a hard time with dropped calls and features that are not available on the physical phone in my experience.

Easy Transition to VOIP

Hosted Solution. This provides flexibility to have remote access. Additionally, I love the Beehive app. Having virtual phone on my cell phone allows for premier customer service. As long as you have access to Wifi when traveling, you will be connected to your office seamlessly. I highly recommend this service for any size business.
  • Customer Service
  • Fast response
  • Access to Engineering
  • Great Solution Provider
Cons
Broadvoice is uniquely positioned to handle small to large enterprise solutions. Can convert easily with proper infrastructure. Menu of phones are mainly Polycom & YeaLink. Businesses with a lot of CO Lines paying for analog lines need to convert to IP technology. The best part is the cost savings. The bonus will be in the efficiency of services.
Very little downside. Customes with no infrastructure of Cat 5E wiring need not apply.
