  • BrowserStack solved the problem to handling devices for automations. Especially nowadays where there are a lot of people working from home, a tool like BrowserStack is pretty helpful cause it provides a common and easy way to perform your tests independently of your geographic location.
  • As I mentioned before, I had a problem while working with a app that had geolocation enabled. The app had geolocation activated for USA (only works in USA), and I was in Brazil. For some unknown reason looked like this scenario caused a lot of weirdness in my tests.
  • Some teammates tried to simulate the same scenario, but once my teammates were in USA, the problem did not reproduced on their end.

  • The positive impact is that it saves time by providing a parallel testing feature, in which a website can be tested on more than 1 device at a time.
  • It provides enhanced quality & user experience.
  • Reduce the maintenance cost because we can identify the browser or device-based issues at the development phase, so there will be less chance of issues post-deployment.
  • The negative impact is that it heavily relies on a stable internet connection which creates problems with fluctuation.
