Best work punch in
It’s the easiest app to use to login on to punch in and punch out for your job. You can track all your hours and time off hours. You can adjust the hours you need incase you make a mistake or forgot and then your supervisor we’ll only have to approve it. You can take a picture to prove your at work and sign in with so many features like face recognition or password or passcode with symbols.
- Taking a picture of one to verify your the owner of the account to punch in and punch out.
- Keep all your hours you work in order
- Having all your time off hours
- Having the option to go back and being able to see your hours from your previous work shifts
- On taking the picture sometimes it said it didn’t take it and then it shows it acceptable
- Punching out sometimes glitches and you have punch out already
- The option to punch in without it sometimes glitching and asking for a retake of a picture

It is very helpful especially the proper logging in & out at work. Reminding on time always and preparation of work to be done for the day. It also gives work balance by guiding the time in & out for each employee keeping track of the work to be done.

Happy Buddy Punch User
I use Buddy Punch for time tracking and PTO accrual. This software reduces stress for me by allowing me to track my hours as is convenient instead of needing to drop what I've got my hands in already to log in and punch in or out by the time on the clock's face.
- Accessibility via mobile app is wonderful. I've left the office so many times without clocking out, [and] then I'd have to ask my boss to please correct my mistake the next day. I prefer to clean up my own messes. With mobile access, I can record my punch-out after I get home, and no one is interrupted and bothered by my misstep.
- I have a habit of staying at the office well past my allotted 40 hours per week. On the Buddy Punch site, I am able to quickly review my hours to help me stay within the rails. I know my bosses appreciate me keeping overtime to a minimum.
- I feel very in control of my own PTO with Buddy Punch. I can see how much I've accrued at any time, decide when I want to use it, and track it for myself very easily. I prefer not to use my bosses' valuable time to do this administrative task.
- I don't have any suggestions at this time.

Our buddy punch is used across the whole system and we use it for recording our punches in/ out and it tracks employees to be sure they are clocking in & out and are actually at the residence.
- Allows employees to edit their time punches in the event they forget to clock in or out.
- It has the option for a picture to be taken when clocking in/out to verify an employee's location. It can prove a technical issue with our laptop and time punches.
- Very convenient and easy to use time-off requests, and being able to be my favorite feature! It also provides easy, clear summaries of PTO and when they can be used.
- I'd love to see the feature added to allow us to view exactly what changes our supervisors made on our time cards.
- Uploading a picture to your profile is very frustrating to do on this app. It wont upload a personal picture from your own files but instead it makes u take a live picture with a webcam.
- I would like to see maybe a tutorial of how to use its features. The exporting feature can be pretty confusing. Also when punching in/ out on a 3rd shift (overnight) it confuses me badly by separating the punches for after midnight into a separate punch.

A Great website layout and ease of use!
We use Buddy Punch for time cards for our employees. Clocking in and out. Requesting vacation and sick leave. As a manager, I approve time cards and submissions. Its simplicity in the layout is very helpful at time efficiency. Our company was using Paychex Flex before and this system is much easier to use.

I like the simplicity of the website dashboard, and I can use it no matter the device (I travel a lot and it's useful to use it on my smartphone when I'm on the go). It takes a while to figure out how to enter times when not in real-time, but overall I like how it works and keeps an accurate record of my times!

My Most Helpful Buddy
All hourly employees with my company utilize Buddy Punch. It’s an always available and simple way to track our time. We no longer need to manually complete and submit timesheets. Pull up the site, punch in, start work. It's easy peasy! The mobile app makes tracking even easier.

Payroll Tracking with Ease
Buddy Punch is used throughout the entirety of this organization Though the law office only employs four individuals, it has eased the payroll tracking process immensely with use of the punch-in and punch-out features. We first switched to Buddy Punch about five months prior to this review, and we have enjoyed the simplicity of the platform.

Buddy Punch is Highly Recommend!
We use Buddy Punch company wide. Having the ability to track employee hours by department and location is a huge benefit to us as we can find out where the most time is spent. We also require GPS location in case we run into issues with employees clocking in/out when they are not where they are supposed to be.
- Their customer service is second to none. We have requested several changes over the years for the web interface and app; I think all the requests we've made were implemented by this point. I only wish this was the case with other companies we utilize.
- They allow you to set different pay rates based on department which allows us to pay employees more for the skilled jobs they perform versus the more basic work they perform. This is a huge benefit to a small company as it encourages employees to strive for more skilled work and they keep moving up the ladder to become even better assets to the company.
- The reports you can run are very thorough and work very well for us when it comes time to enter payroll.
- Having the ability to set alerts has allowed us to cut back on unnecessary overtime as employees can get reminders prior to going over. We can also set reminders for employees to punch in/out for the ones that have a tendency to forget.
- The app used to be subpar, but it functions much better now and has more features. I know this isn't a CON at this point, but it's worth mentioning.
- The Time Off Calendar doesn't fit a computer screen which is a little difficult to use at times. Maybe instead of it showing each employee who is scheduled for PTO that day it should show there is PTO for that day and you can click on it to show the employees and what the PTO is for.
- It would be nice to switch between Employees when you are viewing their details without having to go back to the list. When I enter PTO at the beginning of the year it takes longer because I have to go back to the list to get into the information for each employee.
- It would be nice if an employees PTO balance is at zero or will go to zero with the requested time off that the employee and manager/admin knew without having to view the employee info.
I use buddy punch to clock in and out during the week to maintain my working hours. It's very useful and easy.

Buddy Punch Best Ever
I use Buddy Punch for a time clock function. Very easy to use and navigate. If I do have issues, Rachel has always been there for me. Before Rachel, Eric was the first person of contact, and was very helpful on signing me up with Buddy Punch.

Easy peazy! One step and done!
It is used by the company to track the employees of the employees. We started using the system about three years ago. Its easy to use and makes it easy for the employer. Prior to this we didn't have a system to keep an electronic record. We simply put down our arrival time and recorded the time we left work.
- Easy to use. Clock in with one click if one is logged into the system.
- Streamlined way for employers to keep track for their records.
- No mess about forgetting to log in and/or out
- Also, the editing option works well. Go in and edit the time and corporate will approve upon review.
- For my needs it works perfectly.
- The employer is best equipped to answer from their end.

First Review of Buddy Punch
We have temporary and contract employees that are paid hourly, and I am currently on contract. It is a simple, two-step process to record my time in and out efficiently and painlessly. I can see at a glance what my weekly total is and where I missed the mark on any given day. The ability to look back is also helpful when calculating hours over pay periods.
- Easy to log in and punch in.
- Password memory makes logging in a cinch.
- Auto logout is great so I don't accidentally punch out!
- Sometimes I need to check back to be sure I'm still punched in.
- The indicator between punched in and out is not very indicative of if I am or not.
- I want to total hours not just by the week but by pay periods 1-15 days, 16-end of [the] month.

Best time keeping system
We use Buddy Punch for all internal staff for PTO tracking and hourly staff. This has cut down my time spent on internal payroll tremendously.

The entire organization uses Buddy Punch. Accuracy and timeliness of time (straight time, PTO, ETC). You can enter time off in advance and have it approved.

Buddy Punch is a Knockout!
Buddy Punch is used by our entire team for the purposes of scheduling and payroll tracking. Our staff was having an issue clocking in with the previous software, and I was looking for a faster payroll solution. As an owner, my time is valuable and I didn't want to spend it problem-solving with software or handholding my staff on clocking in.
- Customer service is the best we've seen! Their knowledge base is clear, and when we do have a question it can't answer, we get a quick, informed solution.
- The software allows us to schedule our staff seamlessly for work in more than one department in a day, so tracking how many payroll hours are being used in each department is easy.
- The reporting for Payroll hours is easy and fast.
- We'd love to see new hire onboarding added, since Buddy Punch does everything else so well, we expect it would be great!
