What is Buddy Punch?

Buddy Punch is an online time tracking and scheduling application. Track time, time off, locations, and jobs. The solution aims to help punching in & out intuitive for employees & easy for users to view & export time. Employees can clock in using a browser or the Buddy Punch Google, iOS, & Android apps. Users can view who's working, their GPS position or even limit where they can punch. The solution integrates with QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, & SurePayroll while also offering Excel exports. Advanced features such as Time Off Accrual Tracking, Punch Rounding, Job Codes, QR Codes, Automatic Breaks, & SSO are all included in our cloud based time clock.

  • No mistakes or glitches everything is set up easy to use and time cards are easy to access.
  • The office loves it no mistakes.

We have temporary and contract employees that are paid hourly, and I am currently on contract. It is a simple, two-step process to record my time in and out efficiently and painlessly. I can see at a glance what my weekly total is and where I missed the mark on any given day. The ability to look back is also helpful when calculating hours over pay periods.
Pros
  • Easy to log in and punch in.
  • Password memory makes logging in a cinch.
  • Auto logout is great so I don't accidentally punch out!
Cons
  • Sometimes I need to check back to be sure I'm still punched in.
  • The indicator between punched in and out is not very indicative of if I am or not.
  • I want to total hours not just by the week but by pay periods 1-15 days, 16-end of [the] month.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think in any office or corporate setting it is ideal because anyone who knows how to send an email can use this app with no instructions. Just log in, punch in and get to work. When the day is over, log in, punch out and go home. What could be easier than that?

I, personally, use Buddy Punch to punch in & out from work, as well as enter my PTO hours. This helps me easily keep track of my hours I have worked for the week. I am also able to clearly see how many PTO hours are needed, if I'm taking any time off that week.
Pros
  • Forgot to punch in/out - easy to fix your time
  • can't figure it out - play around a bit & you will
  • need to enter PTO - go to a different screen & just enter the amount of time you want to be paid for

  • Helpful video of 'How To'

I feel as though, even if you're not technologically inclined, you'll easily be able to figure out how to utilize this program. It easy to navigate and figure out just by taking a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the different areas and features.

Every company should use Buddy punch for their employees. It is very hassle free, and the customer service is great!

It is perfect if you need to punch in for work. Punch out for lunch. And clock out for the day. Loading the website is super-fast. The menu section makes everything very easy. I never have had an issue where I can't get to a section that I want to.
