We used Buffer to schedule retweets of our content, a functionality that the other tools we were using did not support. We also used their Pablo tool for creating images for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and receive their weekly blog emails.
  • Buffer's ability to schedule social shares ahead of time was HUGE for our organization - it allowed us to break up our content without having to manually login and re-tweet things real-time.
  • Buffer has a really clean interface.
Cons
  • I wish Buffer would expand the creative constraints on Pablo. Right now there aren't that many fonts or creative liberties we can take, so it makes it difficult to stay on brand.
Buffer is great as an additional tool for your social strategy, it's cheap and very intuitive. It cannot, however, stand on its own as the only tool your organization uses.

I use Buffer as a small business. Upon looking at other competitors, Buffer has been the best small business option. The starter plan is only $15 and the various features of Buffer are split up in terms of cost. This means we don't need to pay for what we don't use.
  • Social Media scheduling
  • Analytics
  • Community management
Cons
  • Workflow management
  • It can become very costly if you add all the features together.
For a small business or business wanting to use only certain features, Buffer is perfect. The user experience is great and far superior to any of Buffer's competitors. I find it easy to use and all in all a great software.

I've used Buffer at multiple organizations, and it's become my go-to for social media management. It's one of the most affordable options on the market, and it has a user-friendly interface that is easy for me to onboard other managers to take over. It provides decent enough analytics to understand what's performing (and what's not) to inform content strategies and audience engagement.
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • Great calendar and scheduling features
  • Simple analytics
Cons
  • More integrations with other social media platforms
  • Pricing isn't tailored to soloprenuers
Buffer is a great, easy-to-use social media management tool. It doesn't do anything new or exclusive, but I love its simplicity and its interface and scheduling features. It really caters to speed and processes rather than comprehensive workflows. It's more affordable than some of its competitors, which is why it's one of my go-to choices.

Buffer is great for social media management! Easy to use!

Thanks to Buffer, we have been able to plan content publication to our social channels in advance and always stay updated while saving time. Buffer has also been useful for tracking the success of our posts to give us an idea of what we are doing well and what needs to be improved in our content.
  • I can plan and publish content on social channels.
  • Buffer's interface is quite tidy and generates the necessary facilities to save us time in publishing consistent content.
  • It has a special price; it is pretty affordable.
  • It has the possibility of integrating with other tools to improve its functions.
Cons
  • There are limitations in its integration with some social networks.
  • It is limited when tagging users in some social channels and making mentions.
  • The mobile app does not have all the features of the web version.
Buffer has been an indispensable resource in our organization to keep our social networks up to date and full of content while tracking the success of our posts. You will be pleased with a tool like Buffer that is as useful as it is easy to use.

Buffer is used in the social media department. It allows us to schedule social media content in advance.
  • Buffer has a very small learning curve.
  • Buffer has a series of apps that work with the original app with loads of benefits.
  • Buffer has great UI and UX.
  • The pricing model allows for users to only pay for what they use.
Cons
  • Using all of Buffers features, including analytics and community management, can be very expensive for a small business.
Buffer is great for businesses of any kind from small to large. The lowest plan of $15 is very affordable and gives you exactly what you need. Businesses that Buffer may not be as good for are social media agencies, as the workflows aren't as well developed.
