I think the program has a good impact. Obviously, I am not sure what the companies exact goals are regarding what they look for with data or what they are trying to get, But I am sure the data across the organization is easy to study with this tool.

The commission statutes for my role are well defined, but have changed over time. Whenever those changes were implemented, I was able to see exactly what was altered and how it will impact my future earnings. My company communicates those changes to me before testing anything new, but each time they have, it's been very clear on what was updated.

We make commission in multiple ways at my organization and are paid % on different days. This captures everything we need! I can see how things have changed when things have changed, and have the ability to notify sales ops within the platform if something is incorrect.

CaptivateIQ has made the ability to define compensation strategies easier as we can play with the metrics and percentages of commission structures. Its simplified different structures for different groups as well which saves time and energy when auditing reports.

All sales people have a clear and streamlined way of seeing their exact payouts, the way %'s breakdown on each transaction, their paid date, and ages of invoices. Our payouts are based on the age of the account, and the service offered. This has severaly cutdown on questions in terms of "what pays what" and we've seen our employees start to target more lucrative business on their own. It has also helped our sales dept track incentives to provide new ones that are less utilized.

It has been useful in determining where each sales team member is and is a resource for planning and coaching team members. It gives Sales Leaders something to point to rather than just quota and forecasting and provides a business lever to pull to help our sales team get motivated and on target.

To be honest, we have not used CaptivateIQ in this manner yet. We've been creating our plans external to the platform, but this is something we are planning on testing as we head into 2024.

CaptivateIQ allows us to report total commission earned by Opp/Account. Through this, we are able to see how much commission is being paid on a New Business Account and the cost to maintain when the account gets renewed. All these amounts include: AE closing the deal, AE Manager supporting the rep, and the AM who continues to work the account through it it's life cycle. Being equipped with Account level reporting lets us control the lever if we need to redesign Comp Plans.

CaptivateIQ has made it easier to figure out how much I want to get paid after taxes. It is a great tool to use to set your financial goals for the year. It's also nice to see how the numbers change when a commission plan change is implemented.
