ADP Workforce Now is a cloud-based HR platform for mid-sized businesses. It features customizable modules of various HR services that businesses can tailor to their specific needs, as well as regulatory monitoring and alerts to help businesses remain compliant.
Hyrell is a cloud-based applicant tracking system. Its capabilities include batch or mass communication with potential candidates via multiple channels like email, social recruiting, and job boards, employee screening and testing, resume parsing, data management, and analytics.
cBizSoft's Exelare is very well-suited to the staffing industry. It allows for multiple contacts under a single client record. You can then enter & track all Jobs & Recruiting activity. It's fairly well suited to being a CRM as well. It does have the capability to link with ADP once you 'place' a candidate in the system. However, if you use another payroll system, you're stuck exporting reports & info to import in your payroll.
Before we were using an ATS that had no reporting capability. Now we're able to actually see trends, pull reports, & know what's going on in each division, down to individual recruiter activity.
While Kronos Workforce Ready touts the customization of all their modules, including their HR module, it is not a functional ATS for a staffing firm. The Kronos Workforce Ready HR module probably works fine in a corporate HR structure, but if you're considering it as an ATS for multiple companies, the background set up is not streamlined, the process flows are convoluted, and there is no concise way to be functional & fast while recruiting with it.
Overall there is a ton of useful functionality in the software. Reporting is great. You can mass load & edit candidates, & almost any type of record really. You can customize a lot of the menus for your own purposes & statuses for candidates. It can be used for Sales/CRM activity too.
However, the interface looks like it was built in Windows 95 or something. The fact that it's not cloud-based seems to confuse a lot of our users.
Strongest aspect is how it enables the user to customize what fields they see and that it allows the user to filter on any and/or each of the fields in an Excel Spreadsheet like environment.
Excellent list management features. Static lists as well as Dynamic lists are great.
Great navigation and hyperlinks for all records.
Would really like to see less clunky advanced search features. Many features brought over from older product that require understanding of old system to do in new system.
Would really like to see Resume Birth Date!
Need user ability to change Stylesheets other than calling for support to do them for you.
It went from a less expensive alternative that did most of what we wanted better than our last ATS to being just the same price as their competitors. Hard to say what our ROI would be with the product.
