I can't really respond to this - we use a different system for time keeping and import to Dayforce. Previously, we did the same but with a separate payroll vendor. Overall, combining everything but the time and attendance will be a tremendous help to the organization.

Three words: It's Just Easy! The connections/transitions from one part/module to another is seamless. All of the information is there and the same from one part to another. These is no concern that we will find different data in payroll than what is in HR...so refreshing!

Since we just implemented Dayforce HCM a little over a year ago, we are just beginning to see the benefits. Having Benefits and Payroll in a single application has been a great time saver after Open Enrollment and after a new hire. The coordination between WFM and Payroll has gotten better. At first, we had issues with hours between the two modules not tying out but our PR Admins like having access to the timesheet data right from the Payroll screens.

It’s so much easier just having everything in one database. One system to learn and administer. One password to remember. Less confusion for our employees. The last thing they want is to have to remember eight different passwords, and where do I go to view paystubs vs. where do I go to complete my performance review vs. where do I go to see my vacation balance.

The integration between HR, Time & Benefits, and Payroll works very smoothly, which allows us to trust and rely on the data we see. We especially like the ability to be in a module and pop into People to check a pay rate or other HR data. Also, being able to see the time data that flowed into payroll without leaving the payroll screens is a big time-saver!

While using multiple HR systems, there is a nightly feed by which information flows from one system to another. There is a delay in obtaining information. If all processes are in one system it is more efficient. It also makes employees feel happy as they are able to see the status of their requests in different stages. There is no chance for things to be lost as it is all in a centralized database.

It's been a positive experience! It is extremely helpful to have everything located on one platform and consolidated in one location for both the administration and for our employees. Going between systems to gather and collect data is frustrating and inefficient. It is great to have one central platform that has the capacity to centralize and handle more and more content as the platform continues to develop.

We migrated from ADP Workforce Now; the data was messy and not linked. All their modules were independent, so utilizing their talent modules was cumbersome and ultimately the performance module we had activated in the system was not utilized. I was a admin of Paylocity prior to joining my current organization; I did not have the ability to modify setup like I do with Dayforce. Their WebPay and WebTime applications were not linked; as such, an employee record, which was housed in WebPay would require extra effort to flow into WebTime. For instance, Terminations in WebPay would appear active in WebTime; so there was risk for paying addition PPE if not audited; time off balances would not update without a manual step and time off calendars if you had a mix of auto-pay and time sheet employees would not be contained on the same time off calendar, making it difficult for managers to manage their team's time away from work.

It’s been very helpful to our organization to have all over our HR components housed in one application, rather than piecemeal in various other systems. Those separate systems sometimes break the communication bridge that binds the two and disables our ability to do our job efficiently. This single application helps us to ensure all data is available to us at all times. It also assists us to be most efficient in that we don’t have to reenter data in various applications.

It's great having everything in one place, but we do have to have excellent coordination to avoid stepping on each other's toes. For example, backdating changes on the HR side has real-time consequences on the payroll side. It's wonderful - just be careful that all users are cognizant of the cascade effect of their changes on other departments.

Having everything in one place and all of the data "talking" to each other has allowed for a lot less time locating information. It also ensure that data is correct across multiple areas - payroll, job info, and benefits. We don't have to spend extra time making sure data is correctly duplicated in different systems or areas within the same system.

The transition of our timesheets to Dayforce was immensely helpful as we can monitor associate time in real-time in one place. The benefits of this are overtime tracking/prevention. We can also monitor costs and time errors at any point during the period without having to transfer data and calculate the information. This increases fraud prevention and cost overruns.

I have used a lot of different systems for all the different aspects of Ceridian Dayforce. None of which have been as easy to use or had many useful features that Ceridian Dayforce contains. This is by far the easiest system I have used and has had a lot fewer errors.

We previously had 3 separate systems for HR, WFM, and Payroll. With Ceridian Dayforce we now have the same solution for WFM and Payroll. This was a huge benefit, as we no longer have to manage the integration between WFM and Payroll.

Greatly simplifies many processes, and provides much more timely review of data. And reporting/analytics allows the creation of more comprehensive reports without going to multiple sources and then manually pulling together in Excel, etc., to provide a single over-view of an employee, an organization or a specific segment.
