I think it's very usable for the employee. I don't think it is as easy for the HR/PR admins - especially if there is an issue. There are so many setup screens that need to be looked at to try to figure out why payroll isn't calculating properly, hours aren't feeding over correctly, or benefits are not calculating properly. For the most part, they can't do their own troubleshooting. The same is true for the managers. Our managers find it cumbersome to go into make any schedule changes after the schedules have been generated.

We've had an overall great experience with Dayforce. Most employees are able to do what they need to do with ease; there's little training required to get them up and running and access to training videos when they need more information.

I give Dayforce a 10 because it was easy to integrate into our network since it was cloud-based. It is also user friendly and easy to maneuver around the web site. We were able to integrate three separate applications into just one site which made it easier for employees to access the tools they need.

Very easy to navigate and use. The software is user friendly and Ceridian provides all of the tools you need to learn how to use the software successfully. If you can't find the tool in their extensive Knowledge Base then support is happy to assist you.

Reporting needs enhancement. Mobile needs a lot of work.
Timesheets that we use isn’t mobile ready. And the way we use time away requests we can’t use via mobile.

The system is powerful, but there is some learning required to know how to speak its language. Basic timesheet actions are user-friendly. More complex actions (employees working outside normal assignment, or approved exceptions to normal work policy such as early in or out) can confuse managers who are not used to the system. HR record maintenance is a bit tedious and we do have to resolve human input errors somewhat frequently. Reporting can be painful to get meaningful data in a usable format.

Some features are very easy to use and easy for the every day user to understand. However, some features (like performance reviews or scheduling) have been somewhat difficult for staff to understand.
