Enables better employee and manager self service
Through Ceridian Dayforce, the organization has brought together payroll, time management, and benefits into a single application. Previously these were done in separate systems. Having them together has enabled better employee self service and manager self service than the organization has had in the past. It has also reduced reliance on paper forms and have streamlined approvals, which can now be done electronically.

Dayforce - great employee resource!
We have used API in the past for scheduling, timesheets, pay cards, etc. It was an older system and we needed to upgrade. We use iCIMS for our preboard and ATS system right now. It would be great to have all systems in Dayforce but the ATS system was not ready for the amount of sourcing we do on a regular basis in our ATS system with email campaigns.

Dayforce is awesome!
The only other type of software that I have experience with is WorkBright for hiring and form tracking. I am unable to compare it with Ceridian Dayforce since I do not have experience with those features in Ceridian Dayforce.

Ceridian Dayforce - Automate your payroll processes!
It's been fantastic for us to have everything integrated together. Unfortunately the Time & Attendance module didn't fit our requirements but we were able to easily integrate with a different solution. In particular, it's been very helpful having the hire/rehire process mostly automated - we have a lot of seasonal employees and being able to reactivate them and assign their new role has proven to be very beneficial.

The greatest impact has been in the area of productivity. No more loading time files into a payroll system. The reporting is much easier since all th information is in one system.

New-ish to Dayforce
- ADP Vantage HCM, ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
We are still integrating our benefits from a third-party module, but having all other modules in a single application has led to cleaner data and more accurate information in one centralized location, which is a definite time saver.

Great, but could improve tax knowledge/support
ADP Workforce Now is the system we used prior and that I still use for other consulting services, and this system falls far inferior to the functionality of Ceridian Dayforce especially in terms of payroll processing and delivery but also in other aspects like benefits, employee profile management, and access permissions.

Dayforce Review
There are many other HRIS software companies that also offer 3rd party integration. Any time you can develop a one stop shop, your human resources team will be more efficient and productive and your records will be more complete. It would be more beneficial if more services were integrated with [Ceridian] Dayforce.

Mostly Happy Customer
Efficient to have a one-stop shop.
Ceridian Dayforce seems more seamless and intuitive and offers information across each of its components to make use within any single feature easy.
Prior to [Ceridian] Dayforce we had a separate payroll system from our HR system. This created a ton of extra work for our payroll and HR teams when entering new hires as well as each pay period to ensure employees were paid properly. Due to human error, unavoidable mistakes did happen. The entire Dayforce solution did eliminate human errors in this regard.
