I love Ceridian Dayforce
- Reports
- Timesheets
Dayforce...REALLY making work life BETTER!
- nothing to speak of
True Data Integration
- Data cleanup
- Creating new payroll and benefit teams so that those functions could be centralized
- Understanding our data once we were able to really see what was happening in our payroll
Good, but could be better
- I was not at the company during implementation
Dayforce HCM making great improvements with each release!
- Combination of tables in core HR
- Custom reporting
- Inability to override wfm
Ceridian Dayforce Rocks!!!
- unknown
Hooray to Dayforce
- Employee resistance
A work in progress.
- I am not sure since I did not go through implementation.
Ceridian Dayforce Review
- I was not part of the implementation process
Dayforce Pros/Cons
- Lack of understanding of required steps between implementation team at Ceridian and at our organization
- Some items were not completely finished by the implementation team
- Implementation team seemed eager to pass us off and move on to next client, which caused issues for us
Still in the Honeymoon Stage!
- data transfer errors
- 1 year and several months later we noticed that 403b match formula was wrong.
- some features were not explained to us
Mexichem review of Dayforce HCM
- Complex configuration. Seequelle was less than understanding and did not address.
- Strictly online training. Seequelle spent minimal time in helping. They completed the implementation for us not with us. Strict email communications.
- We felt pressured and not supported which made us feel like a project not a team.
GNC Ceridian Dayforce Review
- Getting Ceridian to understand how decentralized we are and how different the payroll policies are for each of our locations.
- We have very specific Attendance rules for our Union Employees. Our Ceridian salesperson promised that Ceridian could handle those rules but we found out as we implemented that it couldn't and the product team doesn't foresee doing the necessary programming in the near future.
Just My Take
- Carrier connections
- Entitlements
Dayforce Payroll is a '10'
- For the US implementation, our tested configuaration was lost when data was copied from one environment to another. This caused our implementation to be pushed out as we had to begin testing again.
Amazing!!!
- Set up of workflows
- Timesheets
- PPACA
Revolutionized
- Instructions were not user friendly
- We went through implementing in 3 months it was horrendous
- Data exchange was a nightmare
Law Firm perspective of use
- I was not present for implementation
Dayforce HCM hero --- At ground zero!
- Communication with and from the IC team to ensure on the same page at times. (Tight timeline attributed to this)
- Working through change management communication
Banner school review
- Our current system talking to Ceridian
Dayforce dunder
- Our VP’s did not want us leading outside of our specialty
- We did not get to run our 2 consecutive payrolls with ADP to test
- Language barrier
- High turnover of implementation team
Uses Dayforce daily!!!
- Time
- Implementation team knowledge
- Implementation team location
Makes work life better
- Employees with labor splits
- Employees have multiple managers
- Not everyone completed the prerequisite trainings, so they didn't understand what was required of that. That meant that those who had completed the training (mainly, me) had to take on a bigger part of the load.
- Bad timing- starting this during Open Enrollment was a bad idea as my time was divided. We eneded up having to delay our go-live by 3 months.
