I wasn't here for the final implementation but I understand that it went well. I can say that after working with other Ceridian users that used a Third Party that my organization had so much more hands on learning during implementation that we are better set up to make in-house adaptations without having to involve support and the others are still struggling after almost 18 months of being live.

I am not sure on how implementation went with Dayforce since I was not here during that time. I will say that when we implanted life changing event in dayforce the process was very good. When there was something that wasnt working or it was not what we did in our organization, our implementation specialist helped work through the problem.

Have anIT professional involved. Invite implementation staff onsite. Have clear concise communication. Have specific people in charge of module building. Don’t have too many people giving input. Don’t make people who are not tech savvy be part of setting up modules.

Implementation team was ready to move on to other clients and was often dismissive of questions as we moved along in the process. These were very important questions for us, which is why we wanted to ask them before moving forward, but many of these questions were given a basic answer of "you will have to ask your support team that question"

Our implementation had some initial struggles, however Ceridian was quick to get involved and get us on track when we were struggling with communication between ourselves and the implementation team. If I had to do it again, I would take more time with the workbooks up front, ensure my implementation consultant understood my business needs, and then take time to really understand their "language" as well.

Allow yourself a sufficient period, and if you hit snags TALK with your implementation team. Do not try and figure it out on your own. The team is great to help you out and keep you from getting too frustrated with the process. We gave ourselves a short window to work in and it challenged us very, very much.
