  • The call transcripts are great and easy to read through. I can easily scan and locate parts of the call I want to re-listen to by searching the transcripts.
  • I love the snippet tool, which allows me to only share certain aspects of a call with people.
  • It's helpful to be able to share a selected part of the call with parties outside my organization too.
  • Could provide more insights post-meeting with recommendations based on behaviors (talk time, filler words, etc.).
  • Could also provide a reason for these recommendations based on industry stats.
I think it's perfect for any situation for different reasons. Only if a client does not want to be recorded would I not recommend it. I think there is huge value to having calls transcribed/available to revisit. For me, the main positive is being able to really be present in my meetings and not taking notes or typing while my client is speaking. I am able to actively listen to what they are saying because I know I can pick up the details any time in the future.

  • Easy to use, great interface.
  • Can review calls in 1x - 2x speed which helps with efficiency.
  • Sales reps get immediate feedback.
  • Reporting could be more user friendly.
  • Date of call would be helpful on the main screen when reviewing a call.
Great tool for Sales Enablement leaders.

  • The insights after every call are great! Helps develop my self-awareness.
  • N/A - great for what it is as far as call recording software with insights built in.
Not really a forecasting and pipeline management tool but can inform those things.

  • User interface for the most part.
  • Canned reports.
  • Recording quality.
  • Calendar integration.
  • User-driven keyword analysis.
  • AI surfaced keyword suggestions specific to me.
  • Navigation team hierarchies is clunky when the list is long.
It’s fairly good for non-sales conversational intelligence, and it seems to be at least as good as other solutions on the market. Not perfect but fairly good.

  • Snippets!
  • Playlists.
  • UX UI interface.
  • Connect Chorus.ai via Slack.
It is appropriate at every organization with a CS team to being able to understand customer feedback and also train their own employees.

it wouldn’t be appropriate for clients that require more security and wouldn’t want calls to be recorded.

  • On the computer app you can quickly get to the areas you need to hear.
  • It saves the important calls.
  • It's useful for training.
  • The phone app is awful. It crashes halfway through every call.
  • The app is constantly getting me and another rep confused.
The app should disregard the phone calls that last less than 2 minutes and focus on the phone calls that actually have substance. The phone app is really really bad. PLEASE overhaul it.

  • Audio/video has always been clear.
  • The snippet feature, when mastered, is valuable for sharing info.
  • Fairly intuitive.
  • The snippet feature is good in theory, difficult to execute.
  • Is there a tutorial?
  • The transcription service could be sharper.
Excellent for call reviews, both by self & others.

  • Immediate call recording availability.
  • Dashboard needs improvement.
  • Transcription from my call is hard to find.
Call recording apps like Chorus.ai are key for sales representatives like us. It is used for call reviews for coaching, find missed opportunities, and plan next steps. I personally think Chorus.ai does not perform as expected in that regards.

  • Chorus.ai actually publishes conversation metrics like longest monologues or use of filler words.
  • The Audio to Text transcription capability desperately needs improvement.
  • There's cumbersome integration. At my current workplace, Chorus.ai has to integrate with Zoom and then generate a unique personalized URL. As it stands today at time of writing, that process is manual and must be completed with assistance from a human on Chorus.ai’s customer support team.
Absolutely recommend. It's a great way to re-live any past calls.

  • Good transcription.
  • Fast uploading.
  • Secure and trackable links for sharing externally.
  • Share some prescriptive best practices and tips based on my data.
  • Surface areas in email or report form that can help in 1:1 coaching for manager.
Well suited for all areas of a GTM team to help drive deals forward and improve visibility with clear data and insights. Can't think of scenarios where it may be less appropriate - anywhere you need to hear the customer voice as well as what your team is saying.

  • Cost effective option for call recording.
  • CSM team is responsive and clear.
  • No average time per call.
  • No count of external stakeholders per deal vs avg per meeting.
  • No tips based on correlating top sellers with the meeting metrics or sales skills.
  • Good for call recording.
  • Grading calls and tracking scores.
  • Good for basic tracking of key words.
  • It's not great for deep insights and giving tangible coaching advice per rep.

  • Individual voice patterns/recognition.
  • Screen sharing is always easy and the focus of the recording.
  • Many clicks needed in order to share a snippet, I rarely need to share a snippet, I just want to share the whole video usually.
  • Hard to find details in transcript recordings, words transcribed incorrectly.
  • Would be nice to be able to share the transcripts directly or export them to another format?
The best part is being able to go back and always be able to review a call and what was said. If you miss a meeting you are able to catch up and know exactly what was discussed and not have to rely on notes/summaries where context is missed.

  • Call/Recording is great for training purposes.
  • Easy to use - picked it up the first week without a tutorial.
  • Neat and organized.
  • To be honest, I haven't had an issue with it yet, it does everything that I'm looking for.
  • Sometimes the analytics are off.
Chorus.ai is great for call recording and coaching so I can listen to anybody's call if I wanted. I usually look at the best AE's in the office and listen to their calls. The analytics to show where you need to improve on which is great. Big fan of it so far.

  • Captures audio/visual well.
  • Talk time metrics.
  • Great note taking.
  • Weak metrics.
  • Few actionable insights.
  • Poor ability to sync external numbers with names.
Needs 2 classes - one for actual sales calls and one for internal, note taking. The coaching feature is just an alert to your manager with no actionable insights on how to improve, leaving inexperienced managers clueless on where to begin.

  • Call reviews are marvelous.
  • Being able to share specific parts of the conversation is great.
  • Being able to tag another person on a specific segment of the conversation was also helpful.
  • The speech recognition feature is terrible. In theory, it types the conversation but it does a very poor job transcribing conversations.
  • Also, the feature that in theory recognizes pros, cons, or questions throughout the conversation was terrible. as an example, It suggested there where questions where they weren't at all.
  • Notifications can be too distracting when you create a smart playlist that keeps sending you update notifications every time a new conversation is added.
All sales organizations should have Chorus.ai. No brainer.

  • Shares when the demo was taking place.
  • Gives call insights.
Chorus.ai is perfect for training any team that holds calls with clients. Great to be able to go back and watch the recording for notes as well as for training purposes.

It wouldn't make as much sense for those that only hold internal calls.

  • Easy to use.
  • Easy to add to a conference.
  • Easy to scrub through a call and view the transcript.
  • Playlists are ok but lacking in many features.
  • The UI has improved but still not great.
  • As an SE, it's difficult to find my calls. They are always tagged as the AE's call even though I was a key party.
If you have a team that is on a lot of conference calls with prospects or customers, Chorus.ai is a game-changer and something you can't live without once you've used it.

  • Simple to record.
  • Simple to play back with the guidelines.
  • Simple to help us use our management/team to help us get better.
  • Perhaps in the Next steps option. Many of my calls are more informative than Q&A.
  • A little bit difficult to cut snippets out and share.
  • Sharing our files could be a little easier to figure out.
Chorus.ai is simple to use. It's effective as long as the user understands that it is a tool that can make us all better. We had a scenario with a new product pitch, where all of the sales reps were graded and prizes given out. Chorus.ai helps bring out the best in the users.

  • Usability - Super easy to use. The things I really need it for (e.g., revisiting calls, sharing snippets, skimming ahead) it does very well.
  • Transcription Accuracy - I recognize this is not an easy one, but I like skimming calls with transcripts and it's easier for me to process when there are fewer nonsensical transcription errors.
  • Incorrect Headcount - This is infrequent, but sometimes I'll see that Chorus.ai has not correctly captured who's actually speaking or misses it entirely.
  • Video Player (no option to skip +10/15/30sec) - I'm required to skip to the next speaker, and this isn't always what I want to do because the skip ahead time is variable instead of fixed.
  • Video Player (can only make full size or not) - I'd like to see UI options to increase video player dimensions. Going full screen is annoying when I have 2 windows open and am referencing the video while doing something in another window.
Chorus.ai is great for previewing recorded calls. I don't want to watch 1 hour of a call when all I need is 5 mins of information hidden at the 23:15 mark. This is the most valuable to me - I love this tool!

  • Relatively solid navigation and search.
  • Seeing who spoke when on calls visually.
  • Being able to watch calls back at 1.5x or 1.75x speed.
  • Snippet functionality -- this UX is super rough, could be way easier to use.
  • Insights from analytics -- there are analytics here, but you have to do a lot of work to understand what to do differently based on them.
I really think that every sales team should have a conversation intelligence tool. Chorus.ai keeps us all on the same page about important deals. We can hear right from the prospects' mouths, even if we can't be on the call, and ask for feedback on handling certain conversations better. It's game-changing to have a tool like Chorus.ai when it comes to sales efficiency and cross-functional communication.

  • Keywords mapping for easy access later on.
  • Sharing with team members as well as external people.
  • Could improve the translation. It is something which is not great at the moment.
Chorus.ai helps me build better relationships with my customers. I can make them feel like I’m sitting on their side of the table because I really understand their challenges and needs. I wish it had a better translator as it is not up to the mark at the moment and there are competitors in the market with better translator capabilities.

  • Automation - everything gets set up and processed with no need for additional actions.
  • Being able to switch between different speakers really speeds up the process of listening through the recording when you only need to review separate portions of it.
  • The transcript functionality is wonderful when you need to find something.
  • Filler words - it would be helpful if one could actually see what is getting tracked as a filler word.
  • Not sure if this is an integration setup issue, but sometimes the meetings don't get pulled up from Chorus.ai into Salesforce.
  • Chorus.ai Notetaker leaving after 15 minutes if a customer is a no-show. Sometimes they do show up after that, and there's no clear guidance on getting the recording going again after that.
Well suited:
  • An informal conversation review in order to improve performance of a customer service representative/sales rep/account manager - basically anyone who needs to speak with customers regularly.
  • Self-coaching for anyone who wants to improve their quality of speech and carrying dialogue.
  • Assistance in making post-meeting notes, especially if a meeting happened some time ago, so it's not so fresh in one's memory.
Less appropriate:
  • A formal review where an employee is graded based on the metrics provided by Chorus.ai (engaging questions, length of monologue, etc.).

  • Indicating who is talking when.
  • Analytics.
The call recordings are critical, and especially where you don't have to listen to the entire call. You can isolate the parts of the call where a certain participant is speaking, and also notice what % of the call each person is speaking. It is also helpful when training new hires since they don't have to be on a true live call, and can simply access the recordings.
