Speaking specifically of Cisco CleanAir, it provides an excellent scenario for the analysis of interference, spectrum quality, and signal, among other useful information. This helps us to keep the environment in maximum use, helping, including, the best location and disposition of the installation of the Access Points. Undoubtedly, it is something extremely necessary, not optional.

We have benefitted from CleanAir interference reduction, especially due to persistent interference from Microwave ovens in the office kitchen. This hardware innovation assisted in identifying the device as a Microwave, the frequency band that it uses, and the APs that are affected by the Microwave oven frequency. These statistics enabled us to plan a better RF design around the kitchen area.

Cisco Aironet Access Points have several hardware innovations and our company has benefited from them. For example, Cisco CleanAir technology has improved overall wireless network performance and removed the disconnection errors which were caused due to channel overlapping or channel over utilization. Also, it reduces the impact of wireless noise automatically and does not let it degrade wireless performance. The rogue detection and mitigation is another great hardware feature [that] we are using to block unwanted wifi access points from interfering with our wireless network.

Combining Cisco APs with Cisco DNA has allowed my organization to efficiently identify and mitigate persistent wifi interferers as the APs report the source of interference, the physical location of the device(s), and the specific occurrence times. The automated aspect of this combination allows network monitoring staff to cope with the majority of the issues, preserving wireless engineer resources.

Helps to accurately and quickly identify the source, location, and scope of interference. It has automatic actions to avoid current and future interferences, with a report. This is the service I like the most, where it helps us find intrusive access points and other devices that affect security. Provides continuous discovery across the system without affecting performance.

We have deployed these technologies in more or less the default setup. They contribute to the very good speed, performance, and stability of the wireless network. The Clear Air option seems to work great at reducing interference. Even at peak time, the network is never the problem.
