We have benefited immensely from the management features, for example. And, with customization, we take great advantage making it more of a feel with our company. Please view below the features.

The advanced customization and manageability tools have made expanding our network go very smoothly. Whenever we have new offices to build or expand, we are able to have new switches up and running within hours instead of days. The management tools are easy to pick up on, well documented, and well supported. New users have found management of the switches relatively straightforward and simple.

Cisco provides a powerful centralized management strategy through the use of its Cisco DNA Center. This has become quite useful in managing and monitoring our entire infrastructure of Cisco Catalyst Switches and has allowed us to scale and manage large deployments relative to our team size. Intuitive customization has also allowed us to provide better security, network segmentation and QoS at specific areas where needed.

As previously mentioned, the switches have high processing power and excellent intelligence for management, control and also provide security for data transmitted on the lan and wlan network. The graphical interface is friendly, good and easy to use. And with the management software it is even easier to control everything quickly.

We mostly use the switches in a stacking format--very good for handling multiple devices and manage them all together. Additionally, they provide many modules that can be inserted for any need, like adding more ports, SFP + ports, etc.

We use VLANs to isolate our virtual network from our production network. These switches allow VLAN programming at the per port level, which enabled us to make sure that the Dell ESX servers could be protected from any direct network hacks (should computers get compromised), and also to control the traffic to eliminate bottlenecks.

As we have grown as a regional company, we needed a way to communicate and lower travel costs. Our Cisco infrastructure helps us greatly reduce costs of face to face meetings with hardware and software - for example with video surveillance and high quality VOIP.

We have a Cisco ONE license, which connected the switches to Cisco Prime Infrastructure, there wasn't much-advanced customization that we benefit from, manageability is also very hit and miss with CPI, it would be nice if it could be more like Meraki.

Our customers have reported that with the stacking feature of the Cisco Catalyst 3650 switches they are much easier to manage as they only need to manage a single switch that has a high port density, and that in the event of a switch failure it is limited to the single switch which makes mean-time-to-repair relatively quick. The integrated wireless LAN controller option is also an option that some of our customers have invested in and are usually happy with the outcome of not having to manage separate devices.

We have not benefitted from these capabilities as we have not sold for this specific purpose but rather for a switch requirement. From my research, they do work well, and feedback from those who purchased show great ratings and ensure that word of mouth continues to be their best marketing. I would need to get further feedback from buyers on this.

Advanced customization and manageability is important and is possible with Cisco switches and monitoring system. We can remote manage every feature on multiple devices without necessarily logging in every time. The next important option is to use Cisco switches with Cisco ISE to network access policy 802.1x in our organization. And support TACACS for authorization, authentication, and accounting.
