Cisco Catalyst 9200 switches are used as access layer switches in our organization as they replace previous 2960X models. They are robust and performant devices that support all features needed at the access layer. We also benefit from their compatibility with the Digital Network Architecture solution as they are integrated into the Cisco DNA Center platform.

We use them both as access layer and core switches, as we are a large company, but mostly distributed up and down the east coast of the U.S. in smaller-sized branches. We need something with complex ability, but simple management to keep the network up and functioning as much as possible.

We use Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches for our LAN segments in connecting our endpoints with our enterprise networks, both local and wide area. They provide us the redundancy and scalability in having multiple segments in each of our locations to be able cross function. Being able to grow or stack and standardize on hardware and firmware platforms for management is crucial for our success.

I used the Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches for a long time and it is a good and great chance, only what I have is that some of the ports are not working otherwise all things are very fantastic and I am very happy to use Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches. However I used a different series and also it was good, only I have one idea is that when we have an EOF switches it will better to return it to Cisco so that they can give us a new and add a price on that.

We use it primarily for our end systems and when we have a new project. Then we install them for the project and we use them primarily two at a time and they address that. We use them as a replacement for the Cisco 2960 X model because it's kind of in line with that one and it replaces that one and we use it. The best thing about this one is actually that it has the option of having duplicated the power supplies, which is a hot block and it has the option of the stacking as well as the 29 60. We use it primarily for in-end users. That is why we use it.

These are innovative and robust edge switches that were implemented just over a year ago at the headquarters due to infrastructure restructuring and technology park modernization. The old 2960S switches were removed and replaced by the Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches, all models with power over ethernet ports. We use these switches for edge, distribution and also for static routing and OSPF in the network. In the core and distribution, it was decided to place redundant sources to prioritize the high availability of the network and keep it always On.

The Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches extended our network infrastructure by increasing the number of access ports and also distribution using 10G uplink ports with SFP+ gbics. The models that are used are the C9200-24P and C9200-48P with PoE on all ports. We decided to invest and place these switches in our topology because they are very secure and have all the necessary resources, such as Macsec and DHCP Snooping, to never allow intruders to gain access to the internal network. The C9200 switches' POE ports power network equipment used such as IP phones and Wi-Fi access points.

When I first joined the company (a network based company) i had to implement a voip model which is to make two ip phones to communicate with each other, to do this i had to use the following architecture : 2 Cisco IP phones and one Cisco catalyst switch with one Cisco router.

We work with large data flowing traffic and need reliable network devices and Cisco is the best in the market. Cisco switches can easily be integrated in our data centers and can be easily managed with the help of the integrated application remotely. It is made for rough usage and worth every penny. Its is scalable and can be used along with almost all other vendors as well

Our company uses Cisco Catalyst 9200 switches as access layer switches in favour of the older 2960X units. They are dependable and effective machines that support all access layer characteristics. Since they are included into the Cisco DNA Center platform, we also gain from their interoperability with the DNA solution. With the use of these switches, we are able to physically link end users and various equipment, including wireless access points, end-user PCs, and printers. While enabling us to manage that access by using techniques like DHCP snooping and storm-control.

For user connectivity but this product lack OK connectivity and routing support to be implemented in front of a provider device for small sites. So we're generally deploying this kind of device on big sites behind devices that have better l3 / routing support for our users specifically. This device is robust and doesn't show any RMA-specific issues.

The Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switch is our current access control layer device in the network, replacing the previous 2960X series catalyst switches. These switches allow us to provide physical connectivity to end-users and devices like wireless access points, end-user PCs, and printers. While allowing us to provide that access in a controlled manner by doing things like DHCP snooping, and storm-control.

In our datacenter approximately one year ago, some Cisco 9200 switches were installed in the distribution and core and we interconnected to other access switches by fiber-optic and SFP+ connector. We create data, voice, and guest VLANs to segment the network and prevent broadcast and malicious external threats. The switch is perfect with great throughput, POE+ ports, fully CLI, and web management. Added additional 10G SFP+ port models for uplink with other access switches.

At headquarters in our city, we deployed the following Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches, models with 24 and 48 POE ports, C9200-24P, and C9200-48P. These switches are replacing the older 2960S models that are at end of life. These are switches that are classified in our access and distribution topology. The Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches is connected to the Cisco Catalyst 3850 Core Switch. We have models with POE capability to power telephone handsets and access points that are also from Cisco.

Well, this family of switches is the "least expensive" of Cisco's Catalyst series. The truth is that it perfectly fulfills the functions for which it has been designed. As an access switch, it is perfect for the implementation of our customers' networks. These access switches serve us to connect the end devices in our networks. They have everything necessary to work since the versions that include PoE make it quite easy to connect Access points or IP phones.
