Cisco Catalyst 9200 switches are used as access layer switches in our organization as they replace previous 2960X models. They are robust and performant devices that support all features needed at the access layer. We also benefit from their compatibility with the Digital Network Architecture solution as they are integrated into the Cisco DNA Center platform.

For user connectivity but this product lack OK connectivity and routing support to be implemented in front of a provider device for small sites. So we're generally deploying this kind of device on big sites behind devices that have better l3 / routing support for our users specifically. This device is robust and doesn't show any RMA-specific issues.

The Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switch is our current access control layer device in the network, replacing the previous 2960X series catalyst switches. These switches allow us to provide physical connectivity to end-users and devices like wireless access points, end-user PCs, and printers. While allowing us to provide that access in a controlled manner by doing things like DHCP snooping, and storm-control.

In our datacenter approximately one year ago, some Cisco 9200 switches were installed in the distribution and core and we interconnected to other access switches by fiber-optic and SFP+ connector. We create data, voice, and guest VLANs to segment the network and prevent broadcast and malicious external threats. The switch is perfect with great throughput, POE+ ports, fully CLI, and web management. Added additional 10G SFP+ port models for uplink with other access switches.

The experience has been amazing and very positive with the Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series. It is very versatile and can be used in all network topologies due to its good performance, technical characteristics redundancies, and layer 2 and 3 routing. We configure some models of this switch in the building's racks together with the supplier's reseller for LAN network connectivity. of computers, and also the WLAN network with the connection of access points to provide wireless network access. This Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series switch is uplinked to the central rack and the other racks in the building using 10G SFP+ ports and using Cisco transceivers.

At headquarters in our city, we deployed the following Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches, models with 24 and 48 POE ports, C9200-24P, and C9200-48P. These switches are replacing the older 2960S models that are at end of life. These are switches that are classified in our access and distribution topology. The Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches is connected to the Cisco Catalyst 3850 Core Switch. We have models with POE capability to power telephone handsets and access points that are also from Cisco.

Well, this family of switches is the "least expensive" of Cisco's Catalyst series. The truth is that it perfectly fulfills the functions for which it has been designed. As an access switch, it is perfect for the implementation of our customers' networks. These access switches serve us to connect the end devices in our networks. They have everything necessary to work since the versions that include PoE make it quite easy to connect Access points or IP phones.

We have been using Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series switches in our distribution and access scenario at one of our company offices. The building has five floors with various environments and on each floor, we installed a switch of this model for the connectivity of computers and PoE access points. Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series has very good hardware with 1Gbps ports on the downlink for the devices and 4 10Gbps ports on the uplink to connect over fiber to the datacenter. The switches are manageable, have POE ports, low power consumption, and Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking capabilities. So far, it has been meeting our expectations.

The company uses Cisco Catalyst 9200 [Series] Switches to provide connectivity to the different devices and peripherals within the network. For endpoints such as phones with PoE functionality, they can power the phones, which is very practical since a power outlet and electrical wiring are eliminated. Additionally, all the power offered by the hardware of the [Cisco] Catalyst 9200 [Series] Switches is an access layer in the network.

We are replacing our Catalyst 3650 switches with 9200 series. These switches are used as access layer switches. They connect endpoints to the network, such as computer desktops, laptops, POS terminals and etc.

In general, my experience with 9200 series is they are lighter, reliable and same difficult level to configure.

The Catalyst 9200 switches have been purchased for the access layer to be installed in cabinets around the organisation to provide access for desktops, printers, and wireless access points. As such they are being used by most parts of the business, not that any of them would know that.

We use Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches for our LAN segments in connecting our endpoints with our enterprise networks, both local and wide area. They provide us the redundancy and scalability in having multiple segments in each of our locations to be able cross function. Being able to grow or stack and standardize on hardware and firmware platforms for management is crucial for our success.

We use 2960XR and [Cisco Catalyst 9200] Series Switches on the access layer and never had any problems. Almost all access ports on switches are running Data and Voice vlans and we never had any STP/Trunking/Conflicts issues with the switches.

We are using our 9200's for multiple uses in our company. Different campuses use these switches for different purposes based on traffic load, availability, etc. In our main campus, we use our 9200's for lighter cases. Things like using the 9200's as a management switch, a switch for our printers and access points. Things that don't switch critical packets.

We migrated from a half decade old solution to the Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series to update our closet switches. They brought with them a host of new features - PoE being one of the major ones. The older switches were running out of life and the new Cisco switches advanced our capabilities, bringing us current with modern trends.

We utilize the Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches at our branch offices for network connectivity. They are used to provide general network connectivity along with WiFi, voice, and video services. They provide excellent performance for data, voice, and video services with full per port customization. For port density, we stack multiple Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches with the added benefit of increased switching bandwidth.

We use them on client sites at the access layer devices, primarily for user PCs, phones and normal peripherals such as wireless access points. As they support POE+ we can power devices such as the latest access points. They are stackable and I like the fact there are two different stack options depending on whether you choose the modular or 9200L versions.
