Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series was used by the company and was available for me to train with--that's one of the main reasons why I worked with this series, and after reading the documentation about it and tried to figure it out; it came out as a good series

The 8800 series phone is lighter and has a better build quality with all except the flagship phones from Yealink, Mitel, and Avaya. The Yealink S59 and Avaya Vantage have a touch screen interface the make them more akin to the old DX650 which is more high-end than the 8800 currently.

There is no comparison when comparing Cisco to any of the other office phone manufacturers. The company behind these phones is top-notch in communications in software and hardware. Cisco is constantly evolving and upgrading this product to match the new world of collaboration. Avaya is in trouble and there is no comparison.

We have switched straight to Cisco IP Phones without any other considerations. We wanted our phones managed correctly with a reliable solution and this is where we landed. We did not need to check with other vendors or solutions to make this solution. We love what we have now, and we do not have any plans to change anytime soon.

None of these other UC vendor products come close to the total package that Cisco has put together with the 8800 series Cisco IP Phones. The well thought out design, the ease of use, and the overall reliability of this phone is just too hard to match. I would easily recommend this phone to anyone that asks about it! It truly is my daily driver, and without it, I know that my job would truly suffer!

Cisco IP Phone 6800 Series takes the place of "little brother" regarding the 7800 and 8800 Series. They lack some of the visuals and features and they are kept that way to fill every general spot that needs a desk phone these days. In a Cisco Flex language, it could be thought of as a "Common Area Phone" option, to get to the places that are not associated with a particular user, but a role, a function, such as hot desks, meeting rooms, guest phones, etc.

Reliability ofcourse. At the company for the phone solutions, we used to pitch either Cisco or LG based on the budget and 8800 was the recommended option because of the trust with the brand, the model and the longetivity as well. And since we were using it inhouse, it was easy to help them understand why we were recommending it.

When it comes to features, the 8800 beats them all. You have the option to select from different models to suite your situation.
addons such as bluetooth connectivity, usb support, integrated camera, desktop or wall mount design, from a lobby phone to an executive series, the 8800 series offers it.

There are a number of features included as standard across the 7800 series, including wideband audio and echo cancellation. Overall, businesses should receive a high-quality communication experience when using one of Cisco’s 7800 VoIP handsets, as the company has worked hard to ensure that crystal clear audio is delivered, even among the more affordable models. Vibration isolation has been employed for all the hardware, for example, to ensure that unwanted noises do not distract from the audio experience.

With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing many businesses to adopt remote working policies, VoIP handsets have become more important than ever for firms wishing to remain in contact with their employees and clients. Fortunately, the 6800 series has a number of specific futures that are aimed at boosting productivity, wherever employees are based. These include the ability to handle multiple calls, fixed-function buttons that provide one-touch access to important features, and localized language support for international users. This is an ideal solution for this kind of scenario.

Avaya also presents a very worthy solution. However, the support options for Cisco are much better in the Caribbean. Therefore, when choosing a solution that provides a critical service such as voice communications, you need to consider after-sales support, warranty, and general maintenance support. Avaya has a weak support model in the Caribbean.

Secure, phones are easy to use when [configured] correctly [by] network engineers and voice team, you don't just move around moved to different floors without updating it, firmware is to be updated when your phone [gives] issue or when we have your software update, [a] hard reset also helps most of the time.
