Cisco Ip phone is great for every kind of business, provides some security and many features, is great for call centers because you can support different calls without problems, the voice quality is great but if you need to have videoconferences maybe another model would be better for your needs.

Cisco IP Phone 6800 Series is well suited at NOC/SOC, CallCenters, Reception Office, Home Office, Schools, Hospitals, Bus Station, Train Stations Embassy, etc. I think it is useful in the majority of the scenarios when you need to talk by phone. Less appropriate in Telepresences Environments and other scenarios where camera video is needed.

Very good for busy, every day use offices. Excellent choice for a cloud platform. These phones work well in conditions where everyday use and the occasional fall of the desk may occur as they are strongly built. They are also well suited for environments where an economical but reliable device is required and where gigabit ethernet is a must.

The Cisco IP Phone 6800 Series multiplatform phones are built to be cost-effective. But, for many of my colleagues, it might not be the saving grace they need. As of now, we are using a Cisco IP phone and I think it is suited for [mid-size organizations] where they can manage IT dept and IT person this device is [one-time] setup but sometimes if anything happens it will very difficult to understand without IT background so [I] prefer for Mid size organization.

The buttons can sometimes get stuck and the up and down buttons are not that great. [In] the scenario of calling offshore numbers the phone gets cut off easily. [Also,] the wire of the phone is not that long so when making a private call the wire doesn't [extend] that well.

It's great for warehouse/shop floor situations or for mobile workers. It's great for home users as well so they can roam around without calls dropping. It's not as useful if you are a stationary knowledge worker.

Great for group calls - the rollover feature is good. It makes it easy to have hotlines. The audio is clear and consistent. Easy to access voice messages and you can see you have voice messages without having to dial in through your number. The speed dial is easy to use - this comes in handy because we are often calling the same departments over and over - with a touch of a button we are able to connect right away; with out looking at a hand out for the digits.
