Cisco IP Phone 7900 Series can be used in any IP phone scenario. It is recommended for intermediate use as it has advanced features that add more value to the user such as a speakerphone, headset, monochrome LCD screen, and HD Voice. But it doesn't have a color screen. The level of quality of the connections is excellent and it is a portable device with great construction and durability.

Was very useful when trying to send a message to other employees within a team or to other employees in other teams.. it makes communication easy as one can choose to either send a message as broadcast or not. It hasn't been useful when a message to be conveyed must include images for visual.

[Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series is] well suited [for an] Interconnect user of tree separate sites of the company in efficient way, without any communication problems. [Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series is] less appropriate [because] We don't have more visibility of the phones, calls, [and] reporting.

The [Cisco IP Phone] 7800 Series is a good choice for any business using a desk phone. It offers [a] high-quality communication experience. It is easy to set up, is quickly included in the network, gets IP, and becomes ready for use.

Stand IP phone for general users who will not abuse the phone. Not suited for locations where the device maybe abused. Not all model have gigabit switches so please ensure you have the customer requirement well document when choosing the model for them. Also do not that the SKU difference between the multiplatform and normal CUCM versions.

Best suited for office communication purposes. It's not great a solution if you are moving around the place but then you can always set up a call forward on the phone which can help but then it won't let you help with the caller details. Hence if the call forward feature is linked to the caller ID of the callers, it could be made even more suited to people who keep roaming around on the office premises.

It is a pleasure to use this model in the office! Taking into account the new conditions in the form of remote work, there are practically no people in the office, so there is no noise in the office and because of this, it is much more pleasant to use this model. It is suitable for the use of most internal operations that occur in a normal office environment. This model is a real working machine, which can be easily managed by an administrator with even the most extensive experience working with it.

Not as many in the face functions as an 8XXX Series device would have, but this device is perfect for smaller sites that will have multiple of them and or smaller head office style sites. I wouldn't use this device in a conference room type of situation as I don't believe its hardware is good enough (mic, speaker).

In the office it's great! But if you wanted to use it in a high traffic or busy/noisy area then it might be hard to hear. But for most business operations that take place in the normal office type of environment it is a work horse of a phone, easy to manage on the back end for administrators and gets the job done.

Although the basic 7841 is monochrome and the display is small, there are some bigger displays in the higher models. Overall, this phone is an all-rounder, it does it all and the quality is quite good and the best selling point is that is cheap. If you are planning to deploy Cisco IP Phones but the budget you have is not big and you can live with not having a colored display, consider this series, as it's great. I wouldn't use this model for managers, executives, etc.

It depends on where you want to deploy the IP Phone. Cisco 7800 Series works well for those users who require basic IP Phone functionality and the 7800 conference phone is ideal for those small meeting rooms. If you require more advanced collaboration features, then you should also explore the rest of Cisco's IP Phone range which offers more advanced features.

The Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series works well in most situations. Our default offering is the 7821 as it suits well for most, the second line key can become an extension mobility login or other features. It also works well in a call center environment. The 7861 would be offered to executive assistants or receptionists that need numerous speed dial keys. The 7832 conference phone is only suitable for smaller conference rooms as it doesn't allow for external mics to be added.

I have a hearing impairment and before we introduced Cisco's Telephony portfolio into our organization, we used to use another brand (not going to say the name but it starts with a Y). Whilst I don't have a complete loss of hearing, I can say I am at 60% capability. Having said that, Cisco audio quality allows the perfect environment for me not to run programs to convert speech to text.
