Cisco support has always been one of the best on the market with a great level of customer service and response time. Smartnet is critical to always have technical support and firmware/software update with new features. The price is good.

The support seems good so far, though am just a user and not involved in the implementation of the Cisco IP phones 7800.. from my point of view, they've been good.. and knowing the company I am attached to, I've never seen or heard them complain.. for me that really seems good cisco support.

Good support from the Cisco team ensures the service is never disrupted. Even the phone is easy to configure and can be managed by any support companies like TCS, Infy, etc. I would recommend to everyone that this is one of the best solutions that is going to help you to smoothly run your business.

Because anything that I use through Cisco is guaranteed to have a few things that come with it.

  1. High quality that rarely needs support or maintenance, and
  2. If you end up needing support they have some of the best-in-class support people that provide a great experience and are deeply knowledgeable about that product.

To ensure that you get the most our of your IP Phone, it is always advisable to include Cisco SmartNet support as part of the order. SmartNet will provide you with peace of mind knowing that should your phone become faulty, it will be repaired/replaced by Cisco. SmartNet also provides you with technical support and firmware updates for your phone to ensure it is continually updated and secured. For additional assistance, you can explore https://community.cisco.com where you can post any questions relating to the Cisco 7800 IP Phone and get a response from users who had similar issues and their experiences in resolving them.

With an active support contract from Cisco we have never had any issues in resolving problems. Such problems are normally around the CUCM that the phones register to, rather than the phone itself. Cisco also releases new phone firmware on a regular basis which can include security fixes and sometimes new features.

I cannot fault and comment on support if we haven't used it yet. The 10 I am giving is because there was no need for Cisco support, that means Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series should sell itself. If my review is not making you stand in line then I don't know what will.
