Cisco Jabber provides instant presence and communications to increase business efficiency. To reduce delays, use instant messaging and real-time presence data. You can browse the contacts that are available both inside and outside your company.

The resource usage and the features which are necessary for the exact needs of the respective teams are better when compared to these software. The ability it gives for the users to customize what it requires and the quality of the services which is consumed by the end users. Also the effective resurrection when something is not working as expected, is better compared to these software.

I think Cisco jabber is a lot easier to navigate and control and that’s why the organization used it. Cisco Jabber made it more convenient and quicker to send an instant message. Cisco Jabber screen sharing is also one of the best parts. It was definitely really easy to navigate and control.

I like Cisco Jabber better for chatting and making/receiving calls using our landline phone number as if we are in the office. I also like how Jabber lets you control your status automatically or manually, Teams does not. I think Teams is better for meetings though. We actually use both. Between the two, we think we are well covered.

I have been at two different banks in the past 6 years and both have used jabber so I don't have a good comparison. Prior to that, I was at a credit union that used their own internal software for chat and it was pre covid so nobody really had video collaboration at the time so Cisco Jabber is really all I know.

Slack is extremely useful but Cisco Jabber allows for a better experience since the UI is a lot easier to navigate. While Slack has a multitude of features in comparison to Cisco Jabber, the lean application of Cisco Jabber makes it a better tool and gives it an edge over Slack.

Previously we used Cisco Jabber and now we are using Microsoft Teams. I feel Teams take loads of RAM and there are multiple instances my whole system got hung up and it isn’t the case with Cisco Jabber.

Cisco Jabber felt more refined, stable, & richer in features compared to the similar online communication platforms our firm has used previously. Sound quality is crisp from both ends, & video calls in meetings maintained appreciable quality even when our office had poor internet speeds. Joining online meetings is near-instant without disconnections & retries from the software side. The platform, all in all, feels optimally designed to handle professional work management.

Cisco Jabber is a superior VoIP solution, as it retains the traditional phone number functionality with the additional capability of allowing connection in any geographic location. Zoom, Skype, and Teams are superior for internal teleconferencing, as they include useful integrated features such as video, chat, calendar scheduling, and attendance tracking in a very intuitive manner. If not cost-prohibitive, I believe that retaining Cisco Jabber and Teams is an ideal solution for total business communication.

Zoom and Slack are the go-to platforms in our industry. People just know how to use them when they come into our company because they've been exposed to market share before. That wasn't the case with Cisco Jabber. It felt like a rarity. I keep saying it's a smaller player among giants.

Jabber and Webex App are related to each other, but with different goals. Many companies prefer to use Cisco Jabber to keep all the information inside the company's infrastructure once Webex App and Microsoft Teams are integrated which store information in the cloud.

We selected it because of its accessibility, it is very easy to use, no matter where we are we have access to all the information in a fast and comfortable way; helping us to accomplish our work and improving our performance.

Currently, the primary reason to stay with Jabber is due to its cost and widespread use. Switching to an alternative would either require switching other services as well; or it will require additional costs and lock us into other services. It would also require a lot of retooling to switch current processes.

Cisco Jabber by itself lacks the features other collaboration tools have. The main functions of the application such as calling/answering calls, chatting, work great. However, it does not really allow for working collaboratively compared to applications such as Microsoft Teams. My honest suggestion is to build Jabber and Webex features in one application since both applications serve the same purpose, working with other colleagues.

The main reason we chose Cisco Jabber over Teams was the integration with our phone system. Beyond that, the program has a very well-designed interface that is easy to use. Important features are easy to find, and the settings are fully customizable to each individual's tastes. I personally enjoy the ability to set custom statuses, something that is difficult to do in other programs.

Cisco Jabber is the tool which we find more confidentiality of the documents and chat in terms of business meetings, planning, and scheduling, also it is very easy to access from the one who does not have installed.

Due to the high usage of Cisco WebEx and Cisco as our client, we used Cisco jabber for our daily communication. It has good support and is easy to use and I a very light application. No high impact on system boot can be installed quickly. Simple to use and less complex features.
