The Pandemic has tough us that the next generation of helpdesk users/workers will be mobile. They cannot be connected to a place, a spot, a landline, a desk phone. In the field of helpdesk and not only you need to be able to take the call from the user anywhere. A tool like Cisco Jabber easy to use and fast to connect is the most important. I have worked both in the helpdesk environment and in a managerial roll where we need to connect to calls and users and this tool has been there to provide and response to our needs.
In the Helpdesk environment it provide the best response to building a hotline easy to setup and configure. But also paired with Cisco Finesse has provided a stable connection and constant availability for our users to reach us.
In the single user, this tool is perfect not only for the possibility to call but also because of the pairing with your calendar. Proving visibility on your time and actions, also sending email with click away.
Maybe the chat function if enabled would have provide more benefits, as to create a one tool in one.

Cisco Jabber to me is an excellent choice for personal and enterprise level communication. Works well, it does the job. Call and Video quality is great (depending on your internet connection), and it's compatibility is great too. However, with this being said, it is more appropriate and more reliable to use it for work related meetings and calls because of its price and features. It is not well suited for personal occasional use.

If you do not have an existing tele communication solution than I think Cisco jabber is a good one to start with, it’s well established in the market and also well integrated with a lot of other third party platforms. The software have been existed for sometime so it’s UI/UX isn’t the greatest.

If you have a Cisco Jabber is the only real option. It can show very well suited and useful for call center environments where fast routing between phone lines is needed. Another good situation is environments where workstations lack the needed resources to run heavy RAM applications such as Zoom, Cisco Jabber's footprint on the OS is rather light compared to other collaboration tools.

Cisco jabber is mostly used in the organisation where they use the Cisco IP phones to replace with soft-phones. It is used for both on-premises and Cloud based deployments. Since, most of the users connects remotely, security is high priority to establish the secure communications and Cisco jabber suites well. Telephony integration enables to use computer-processing functions while making, receiving and managing telephone calls.

New user can easily understand working of cisco jabber which means it is user friendly and highly reliable. But this app works very slowly and most of the time it get logged off while using. It has integration with Outlook Calendar which use to keep a track of all the scheduled meetings. I can be used for small to large scale organization.

Cisco Jabber made working from home so much easier. It was more efficient to communicate with the team with the chat function. When contacting outside of our organization, we were able to call from our computers so that we did not have to use our personal devices. I am not sure how working from home would have gone without Cisco Jabber.

I am a phone person always and being in a profession of HR, I always connect to my people through my phone even out of office as well and since I have started using Jabber I got a chance to stay away from incoming calls out of my offic schedule.

I feel Cisco Jabber is essential in keeping everyone connected in every capacity from one person to an entire team. We have regional meetings which has been too large for Cisco Jabber but for out biweekly meetings with our team it works great. I find it an easy and effective tool.

Our company eventually switched to another service provider based on how slow, buggy and dysfunctional the video component of Cisco Jabber is. If you wanted to use Cisco Jabber solely for chatting without video, its a great tool that runs very efficiently. It's wonderful to reach a co-worker quickly for a short discussion but isn't the best for longer conversations you want to retain.

Cisco Jabber is very well suited for communication with colleagues of the same company, exchanging messages and sharing screen when needed. It keeps a long history if interactions.
At the same time, the application' s design could need some revamping.
This could serve to enhance the user experience of the end user.

As aforementioned it works brilliantly with other CISCO products, but works equally well on its own. Cisco Jabber always has clear and uninterrupted calls. I never experience any lag or latency on these calls. Similarly, video calls are almost always clear and smooth. I can connect instantaneously with colleagues and co-workers and one never misses any communication. The GUI is clear and easy to use, while events and alerts are always invisible. I’ve used Cisco Jabber on other sites when I’m connecting with my main office (where I’m located) and the communication is always excellent and free of any disruption – it’s as if I’m on my main site. In terms of downsides - My main worry in the future is that it will lose out to the likes of Teams and Zoom as more companies use these for video conferencing purposes. Also with Teams, most companies use Outlook, OneDrive, Office 365, Sharepoint and other Microsoft products which gives them an added advantage to integrate all these products seamlessly with Teams. It connects brilliantly with Cisco's Multi-factor authentication system as well. It's interaction with Cisco's WebEx can at times be unwieldly and it can take time to connect for video calls.

As digital transformation came into the company, we went from everybody having a phone to having soft phones installed in our computers. I didn't feel much difference until working from home became more common and even as I started to travel abroad, then having access to my phone right from my computer through an internet connection became a big plus. The tool has been particularly useful when connecting with companies or stakeholders that only have a landline to contact them.

This software is perfect to manage a lot of incoming calls as for calling to the outside as well. The protocol of sending and converting the sound over the internet is very strong and solid. This is the reason we like this software. The good sound quality. It sounds like a regular phone. This is not the case of some other software that make you sound like a robot.
I don't see anything that is not appropriate for this software .

Its well suited in our organization where mostly people are travel and want to work remotely and stay connected with the colleague via voice ,video conferencing to interact with each other. It is less appropriate for small company As its require VoIP engineer and devices to setup the configuration (Cost Concern).

Cisco Jabber is good for internal communications but runs slow and crashes frequently. It becomes an issue when you are in the middle of meetings. I do feel like its secure. I do not feel the voice call quality is as good as some of the competitors in the space. It is a new feature for the mobile application to be pretty stable.

Cisco Jabber works well for all companies that communicate. It has its place in the work environment to keep connections while busy at work and to stay connected to a team for assistance. It’s suitable for all types of businesses. Remote workers and in office alike. This is software for communication so all businesses.

Cisco Jabber works better in some scenarios when the agents seat idle for a long time while if we compare it with the cloud phones , if the user remain idle for a long time then the user has a chance to face missed call issue and webrtc error issue, where in Cisco Jabber phone no such issue can be seen even if the agents seats idle after login to phone.

You can use it internally or you can even install it on your mobile phone and chat and screen share inside and outside your office networks. It's not quite all the way there yet to work with WebEx and have direct integration to people on WebEx teams and Cisco Jabber. Cisco [has] said this will be integrated sometime soon.

Suitable for various situations. Making and receiving calls. Validation of the presence of collaborators before contacting. File sharing and remote access. Exchange of messages. Use via MRA that is, without VPN. Fantastic. It can be used in companies of different sizes and branches. And on various devices such as Android, iPhone, Windows, and Tablet. as a negative scenario, I only point out the fact that it is difficult to work in a chat group, as this is very complex in configuration and operation. But this comment of mine is like support. As a user, if this feature is configured, that would be great.

Communication issues that we presented using Zoom, Cisco Jabber has more capabilities and is easy to communicate. And We do not find a real issue (besides the old windows version that we got for the old program version running).

A user friendly, sleek and efficient software which enables the collaboration with multiple options like Voice, Chat and presence. This has lesser resource consumption when compared to other peers and also has the ability to customize all the features in a centralized manner which enables the administrators to provide what is required as per the business needs to the necessary personal.
