Duo's platform allows identification above and beyond specific platforms and accounts. With the Duo application on phones, we are able to authenticate users in a multitude of ways including sending a verification to their phone while on a call with them. Duo has the flexibility to allow disparate scenarios including platforms with different naming schemes (allows for manually added alias') and shared accounts in allowing multiple authenticated devices to be added to a single account and of course vice versa.

Duo is being used for Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) is used to confirm identity of all remote workers. We have not had any breaches and can see the status of devices easily through the management portal / control panel. From the control panel you can quickly and instantly disable any devices if you have any concerns.

It has stopped thousands of attempts to access accounts without authorization. Our clients utilize on-premise Microsoft Exchange, and we also use this for OWA for Microsoft Exchange. I can't even guess how many phishing attacks for OWA logins it has prevented.

Our organization phased out all other authentication apps for internally used cloud-based applications and solely uses Duo / Cisco Secure Access, by Duo. The integration with several cloud-based applications allows for more push notifications to be enabled, and it also includes the standard resolving token. Using Duo / Cisco Secure Access, by Duo, we were able to enable multi-factor authentication on all of our business services to ensure we have enhanced security deployed universally.

The main benefit is keeping customers and staying on an approved vendor list. We have found that more and more of our clients are requiring more stringent cybersecurity policies to be allowed to work for them. MFA is one major requirement for access[ing] company and client data. Without it we will lose our customer base. We are finding it is a game changer when it comes to meeting the cybersecurity requirements of a client.

There have been no data breaches in our environment since we implemented Duo Secure Access for Multi-Factor Authentication. The Duo does an excellent job of verifying the identity of our users and ensuring no unwanted or unknown entities are able to breach our network environment. We all feel so much better now that we've implemented Duo!

We have not a single access breach from the users who have been added to this system, it has been a piece of relief. I strongly feel that tools like these are extremely underutilized and have many more benefits than are often realized. End users tend to be the largest risk with security, Duo protects them from themselves.

We have a single MFA solution for almost all local and remote access as well as cloud access. There is less to maintain. Basic credential theft attacks cannot be effective because the attacker cannot meet the MFA challenge to launch the attack.

Passwords are a terrible thing. I know for certain that I had many users using simple passwords and doing things like appending the year to a password to meet change requirements. Duo lets me go to bed and rest without worrying about our users passwords getting easily breached. Simple job with an elegant solution.

Often, staff members reuse passwords on multiple websites, despite out policy to not re-use work passwords for personal use. Cisco Secure Access by Duo has prevented several account intrusion attempts for our organization due to this password re-use. When other external sites are compromised and the credential of users stolen, threat actors then attempt to breach our accounts using those stolen credentials. In the past, those attempts may have been successful if the password was reused. Now, even if the password was reused, the second factor of authentication from Duo kicks in and the threat actor is denied access.

This platform offers robust and reliable identity verification through its multi-factor authentication and adaptive access policies. These features ensure that only authorized users can access critical resources, protecting data integrity and confidentiality.

To my knowledge, there has been none to date. Though I obviously cannot be certain, a large part of this is due to the additional layer of security that Cisco Secure Access by Duo provides. With proper training as to its purpose (i.e., if you see a request that you did not initiate please notify IT immediately, type training) it is hugely effective.

Our company suffered a breach in the past. After that incident, we decided to incorporate Cisco into our routine. Ever since we started using it no breaches have occurred and we have been able to protect sensitive data from hackers. So far we haven’t had any issues with breaches again.

Since using this solution, there haven't been any significant breaches; however, we didn't have any before either. I recommend this to organizations concerned about security or need processes to comply with their specific industry best practices.

As so many of our employees are working remotely and accessing our network from various devices, MFA is critically essential. Since its implementation, I’m more confident about the security of accessing our data via Duo. I also think it’s a great way for my company to track the employees’ access.
I’m not aware of any data breaches and hope it stays that way.

We see many blocked attempts to access our systems every day. There is always the fear that someone will sign up for a service to attempt to download a coupon or sign up for a video game with the same username and password they use at work which if those external low priority systems are ever broken into by a hacker would leave one of our usernames/passwords out on the dark web for a few pennies. Cisco Duo MFA provides us with the needed ability to prove that the users who attempt to log in are our users preventing lockouts from malicious actors trying to brute force their way in or flooding our systems with requests blocking the way for valid users. This lets us sleep at night without fearing the text notification at 3am. FOLLOW UP: Since we had Cisco Duo on our devices it was much easier to setup MFA for our email system and for Salesforce. Both have started enforcing MFA.

Cisco Secure Access by Duo meets Compliance Requirements like PCI, NIST, and GDPR, among others. It allows minimizing security risk if there are compromised credentials trying to access critical business data. You can use push notifications, soft tokens, SMS, phone call, smartwatch wearables, hardware tokens, and biometrics options to enable second-factor authentication.
If you put a good set of policies in place, you can control compromised devices.

It's important that our organization maintain a secure communication breach at all times. We handle private information that needs to be protected and having a Duo security application to maintain that secure line is imperative for the organization. Data breaches these days are the main cause of malware and spam corruption into one's servers.

We use Cisco Duo MFA with our SSO IDP which provides us extra security in case of a breach with the SSO provider. Dou also offers API capabilities that help us to automate processes like provisioning and remediation. With Duo, we can add a challenge from stilling our data and also from internal users who like to browse or they shouldn't.
