Cisco Secure Access by Duo

I have not had to contact support before but have found that I have not needed to. The product works as advertised. The times where I've had issues adding a site, it is typically on the other end, not Duo.

I was not receiving prompts to access it on my university account and it wouldn't allow me to log in to check my financial aid. The tech support was a great help in resolving the issue.

As mentioned, I have not needed support for Cisco Secure Access by Duo. This is a strong statement in and of itself, but I have no doubt that the support is second to none. I have heard from other IT professionals that their support experiences have been outstanding and they have no problem recommending Cisco Secure Access by Duo to others as a result (in addition to its many other merits).

Everytime has been an excellent support experience.

I haven’t had any issues using Cisco. The only time I needed support was while setting up my account for the first time, and they provided tutorials and step-by-step items on how to do this which was really simple. After this, I haven’t needed support since the app is reliable

Support has not been needed with Duo.

The support team is impressive. They provided top-notch attention and patiently fielded and answered all our questions. The support team commonly offers tips to increase security and privacy.

Initially, the previous admin set this up for us to manually create each user, but when I found out you can sync active directory, support answered by questions about how existing users are affected that I was able to easily enabled this, so we no longer have to manually create users and groups.

When I got a new phone, my account was reestablished on Duo within an hour of requesting it, which was specifically helpful for logging into a necessary server.

I have never had any issues using Duo, so never needed any support. I think that’s a sign of [an] exceptional product.

During our initial deployment of the product, we had several questions. What are the granular policies and how do we deploy them? Duo / Cisco Secure Access, by Duo is already supported by several of our cloud-based application providers, how do we create the API connections? Without needing to create a single support ticket, we were able to find answers using Duo / Cisco Secure Access, by Duo's thorough knowledge base.

We brought Cisco Duo into our environment and it was discovered that our ACS needed to be replaced, but the support tech found that we had a higher model of the cisco ACS which could be upgraded to an ISE instead of having to mothball it. This allowed us to end up with two Cisco ISE devices which allowed for an easy transition and the repurposing of the ACS as a backup ISE in our backup/disaster recovery site.

One of the techs realized that since our network admin had not setup a universal NTP server (Something not normal) it caused the system to drift in time between different devices requiring a reboot of our ASA. There have been not issues since we set this up.

Cisco gave us excellent support when we needed to integrate it into our Active Directory, understanding in a very good way the details of the proxy server and configuration related. Also, they helped out during the implementation of Single Sign-On for our legacy applications like Power AS400, Compiere, and other web applications coded in PHP.

I regret to say that we've never utilized the Cisco Secure Access by Duo support except for the online documentation.

Cisco provided excellent support when we needed help getting the Proxy Auth agent setup and configured. Being that this was new technology for us we needed some additional help in understanding how that worked and getting it configured properly. They were very helpful and assisted in getting everything working in a timely manner.

Our systems went down due to a reboot in the server's IT upgrade over a weekend. On the Monday of that workweek, staff started to experience issues with the system which would cease the system to log out automatically. We contacted IT and they were able to provide instructions to help reboot back into our system by rebooting the Duo system and clearing out browser history to help get us back to being productive.

We had some unique issues that impact a very small group of users, We opened a ticket, and Duo's support team start helping us investigate the issue in detail. after a long deep dive in log files from end-user computers - we found that the issue is actually caused by another tool not related to Cisco - this was an exceptional support service we got from Duo's support.

As mentioned in the last section I have never had an issue where it required me to reach out to cisco to give us support as of yet however I do know of an issue where the two-factor authentication was not going to the assigned devices for some individuals over the course of 24 hours the issue was resolved, and everyone was able to move forward.

I requested Duo Security support aid when setting up my multi-factor authentication system. Documentation was clear and precise.

I do not have experience with support from Cisco on Duo, however, Cisco's technical support is worldwide, and top-notch. I would assume the same support is available to Duo integrators.

Each time we requested support they have come through quickly. I needed to build the setup and still allow all users to authenticate during that process. They helped me set up the Duo system so that Users that had not yet been created in the Duo console could still use VPN as they always had. This allowed me to build each user, work with them to get the app installed, associated, and tested before it was required. Very convenient.

Last year, we were configuring the Cisco Secure Access for our cloud-based application but it was not working properly. So I raised the ticket and Cisco contacted me within SLA and provided me with a quick solution and also suggested to me the documentation for future configuration.

We weren't certain on how to configure our authentication for Microsoft 365. We called and they walked us through different scenarios and helped to guide our decision. They didn't push the option they were most comfortable with and even provided us with the scripts to change configuration on the fly should the need arise.

Getting Duo /Cisco Secure Access, by Duo setup with our Carbon Black Cloud was a bit confusing as this was the first application that we've added to our 10 user Duo /Cisco Secure Access, by Duo Setup. Me and my co-worker called Duo Support and we thought we were going to run across a scripted support setup, but we were wrong. The technician on the phone at the time already had plenty of information on how to set up Carbon Black. Support walked us through the setup and we were extremely happy with the immediate results.

Duo / Cisco Secure Access, by Duo, hasn't helped us with very many issues, but one time I believe we had an issue with usernames that were very similar were one individual was receiving the notifications for another individual's account. So one individual was unable to access their account. We immediately contacted them and they corrected the mixup with out any hesitation.
