One single piece of software that also pairs with industry leading hardware for calling and collaboration. Webex combines the best of both worlds, you can use it on and off site from various devices and options , like mobile app, web browser as well as hardware and have a single consistent experience across them all compared to contenders out there.

Webex Calling has a lot better integrations with third party apps than the rest. It's ease of use for users can't be beat and the admin control hub makes it a breeze to manage from an admin point of view.

We opted for Webex Calling because it is more secure than the other platforms. Also, when in calls, it does not have a limit for the number of people we have, I experienced in the other platforms that there is a time limit on the calls you can make depending on the number of people that joined, which is a hassle for us.

Webex stacks up great against other services as it provides quality and clear audio and video while on calls, against other products that we use it provides a superior collaboration experience as it has greater video sharing capabilities than other products. It also shine at noise cancelation making it easy to use no matter where you are compared to those without this feature.

  • Microsoft Teams, RingCentral MVP, Zoom Phone and 8x8 X Series
Webex Calling does very well against all their competitors. Its strength is integration with Call manager, enterprise feature set, End to End Encryption, their own phones. Most vendors use third party phones and gateways which creates extra overhead in management. Having a single vendor solution does help in case of issues as TAC can't deny their responsibility, which happens most of the times in case of multi vendor solution.

  • Zoom
Webex calling has more professional UI and is better for organizations where as ZOOM is better for schools and Educational institutions. Zoom is better in terms of functionality as it requires lower bandwidth of network to work properly. All in all Webex calling is better suited for Companies and enterprises

Because of all the features and setting other products don't have. the possibility to have a space for communicating with all our colleagues through chat, audios, calls, and videocalls. It's the best app

I have used Zoom before and found the software and user interface much better. It simply seems more modern and less immature. Of course Zoom has bugs and is not perfect software, but from my point of view it is much better than Webex.

Webex compares pretty well against Teams, however due to the nature of our organisation and data being held within SharePoint/OneDrive. Teams provides a better solution for our internal users.
However for external users as Teams is not federated and locked down, Webex works much better. We can collaborate with users easily without the need of being held down by the shackles or Teams policies.

The differences between both software can be marginal in some aspects, but for the campaign in a proffessional level it was a clear win to Webex due the quality and security of the platform, being a Cisco product has more impact on the final decision, and in the end the overall experience has been great, having used Twilio in the past, that last part is my personal opinion.

As discussed in the prior portion of this review, Jabber is used in conjunction with webex, not in place of it. Jabber allows for intra-firm communications via instant messaging and calls and allows users to manage calls and voicemails over computer and via email/app from anywhere. It compliments Webex, it is not a competitor.

  • Zoom
By using Webex Calling, it's not only the call facility that I can get. I also get feature messages, events, and many applications that can be integrated with Webex meetings. And what I know is that Zoom is only useful for holding meetings. There is no OBTP (one button to push) feature to make calls with one touch.

I was familiar with Vonage, but if you can compare with Webex Calling, I preferred Webex Calling which is better than other apps like zoom meeting, and Vonage.

Our company predominantly uses MS Office. Due the integration capabilities we have recently shifted to only being offered Teams Calling. The integrations are convenient, but Teams didn't initially have the call-in ability. Even now, the Teams experience for calling in feels clunkier than Webex Calling, especially when I am using the app from my phone. I also liked that Webex Calling let me know when someone new joined the meeting - I have been surprised by many people on a Teams call. If I am not looking at the screen, there is no sound indicator that someone has joined.
