The Webex system does work but the interface is quite dated. Everything is text and menu driven, sometime it is difficult to find a particular feature that may be hidden within the menus. We've utilized Webex for some time and we are familiar with the interface, we've found that new users to Webex have a hard time navigating the menus and their comments are that Webex is quite complex to navigate.
Cisco Webex Meetings is easy to use. People do not need much training to proficiently use it. Even students can easily use it, via the web app, desktop app, or mobile app. The administrative use of Cisco Webex (i.e., Control Hub) is not so easy and straightforward. No detailed guides are available to explain some common use cases.
It's extremely easy to learn how to use the WebEx Meetings platform. All attendees have to do is join the meeting and then they'll see the presenters screen. Presenters just have to learn how to share their desktop, documents and videos and how to add additional presenters if need be.
It's okay. There are other players in the market in this space that are much more well-built and easy to use. The reason that Webex was on the menu for our company was because they were Cisco's baby. Were they to demo alongside Zoom, GoToMeeting, and BlueJeans with all features in comparison and no branding, Webex would be in a distant last to some of the others solely because of the convolution of what should be concise simplicity. It's screenshare and voip with optional video voip and a record button that you may / may not need each time.
I don't have any issues using Webex Meetings but every once in a while, a new user will have an issue trying to figure it out. It seems mostly like a training issue though.
The usability is great as it is seamless and you can join from anywhere, schedule using @webex, and use the great endpoints for a rich experience. There are options for everyone and lately, the speed of development has gone up which is really great to see. It is simply the best.
Integration into Outlook and having the desktop client is really helpful in scheduling and having meetings. The chat feature set in the meetings does not have all the features and capabilities required by the younger folks and should be more feature rich like a Messenger or Teams chat.
The ease of use and intuitiveness is what drives the adoption and following of this product. Users are willing to use this product due to the simplicity in setting up as NOC and schedule meetings. No specialized training is required. Another key feature is the availability of the product in other organizations which helps also in utilizing of the product.
I would rate this a ten if we could get the "Panelist" role back instead of using the Cohost role with so many privileges. A Cohost (who is just visiting and watching their AMs in a Breakout session) can actually end a meeting if they are not careful. Need to be able to adjust these privileges!
Cisco Webex has been reliable but it could be more user-friendly. I've had hundreds of Webex meetings and was never disconnected. I've experienced delays at times, especially during peak hours. But overall experience is positive and I would recommend. Even though it could be more user-friendly I do think it's extremely reliable.
Usability is very functional and easy. The ability for an employee to log in, dial in, etc is not an issue. Dropping calls, dropping from meetings, etc is also not something I have experienced as with other programs. This said, the interruption of meetings and other items is limited to an employee's ability to get online and join the meeting as long as the employee experiences no issues with connectivity. Connectivity with users is the only issue that has arisen during these meetings.
From my experience, it is easy to use when you are scheduling meetings and inviting others. Team members can join via a link and it will open either in your browser or you download the app. If needed it can be used on the go as well. Webex can be used on different devices and most people will be able to get used to it quickly. The interface is clean and most items are self-explanatory.
It is a very usable tool and more today due to the situation that exists worldwide, therefore it is effective, customizable and easy to use and connect, both on mobile devices and on desktop devices, highly recommended and does not exist no tool that compares on the market of all the features mentioned
Cisco Webex Meetings is a really easy-to-use solution. Cisco has a mentality linked to joining meetings: one button to push. There is always the same big green button that appears everywhere—on invitation emails, in the calendar, on videoconferencing devices, on the application in our phones and tablets. One button and the meeting is started. Anyone can start a meeting.
The solution is therefore minimally demanding for IT teams, and even easy to set up and support for smaller environments where there simply isn't an IT team.
