Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

The optimal integration with Microsoft products was a differential, we already had office 365 so it made more sense to look for a tool that integrates well, after researches citrix has become a very obvious choice taking into account this factor and also the online edition of it which is very good.

I have no need to use or look for a different program. The returns I got from Citrix ShareFile was great I didn't bother looking or considering to look at another program or software to do what I needed - to share large amounts of data to many people.

Functionally, they're on the same level as ShareFile. However, my experience with each of these was from a personal account perspective. From a corporate level, knowing that my data lives in my data center and not having to go through the hassle of negotiating a BAA makes ShareFile the clear winner.

Google Drive and Dropbox have been out a long time but I think that ShareFile takes the best part of those software and then adds some. If you are looking for something more manageable that is so easy to implement company-wide, then ShareFile would be a great option. While ShareFile and Procore do have some similar functionalities, I think the document storage and sharing of ShareFile is better. However, the search, reference, and reporting tools of Procore are much better than what is available with ShareFile.

I think Citrix ShareFile is more secure and reliable than Dropbox. It definitely projects an aura of professionalism to use ShareFile rather than Dropbox. It's like the difference between a lawyer having an email address from his own domain versus a lawyer using a Gmail account.

Dropbox and Box are both great file-sharing services as well but offer minimal integration features for the programs. The UI for both is simpler but the workflow features of Citrix make it a win for us as it gives us the ability to automate many things we used to manually do, such as having to copy accounting on all billing relating emails or ensuring our remote copywriter is informed of the new project we launched.

ShareFile has a more native feel which is helpful for the “older” employees. The search feature in ShareFile.com is fast and searches document text along with tags and keywords.

The only comparison that I can think of is Dropbox. I liked the user interface and features better with Citrix Sharefile compared to Dropbox. The price was also more reasonable for business than Dropbox. We've used ShareFile for years and have no plans of switching to another product.

Dropbox was sufficient, but it required downloading Adobe Acrobat. And I'll tell you this - many people in our organization aren't the best with installing the 'right' software (i.e., they do a Google search, click a link, click the wrong download button and install some other nonsense like a toolbar or what have you) and then it has caused more issues than are needed. ShareFile is plug & play.

I tried SmartVault that were not as user friendly as Citrix ShareFile. Plus SmartVault was laggy when it came to uploading and downloading of files. Cirtix ShareFile has great upload and download speed for documents and photos. But compared to eFileCabinet the $150 price tag each month is really high. I am getting eFileCabinet for $400 a year and it will still allow me to use Citrix E-Signature. So I save about $800 a year with that combination.

HelloSign is very clunky, hard to use, and not very user friendly. tracking and reporting is much more difficult and making sure things that were sent in the past, are much harder to bring to the forefront and re-send if it's been a while.

Alternative #1: 7-Zip or WinZip
We were using this technology prior to ShareFile. If you are busy and need to exchange secure files with many individuals "zipping" is a cumbersome (IMHO) way to perform this task. Can be pricey and will have overhead in managing the applications from an IT perspective. This method created issues with securely distributing the decryption passwords to the recipient in a timely fashion. The ShareFile method is a far better solution to the problem as you can deploy as a web-based cloud product without ever installing any software on the end users workstation. Additionally, you can control access to the shared folders and if needed remove access if necessary. With the other products, you cannot tell what files were transferred and who transmitted and received them.

Ultimately, RightSignature stacked up against these other companies quite well, which is why we chose them. Although Adobe and DocuSign offered more services, and may have alleviated some of the issues I have with RightSignature, they were much more money and would have required way more training. E-sign was okay, but RightSignature does everything we need, was a great price point, and is extremely user friendly. They also have a great support staff.

  • internal server and paper files
ShareFile makes it easy to access files remotely and to add files via phone or tablet. Eventually it will replace our internal server, where we have trouble keeping different versions of files straight. It will also replace many of our paper files, saving space and time. As our agency has expanded to inlucde offices in other counties and staff members who frequently work from home or in the field, ShareFile has helped us with internal communication and organization. Our internal server can only be accessed via a remote-in system which is far less reliable.

In my current workplace I have not used another product other than ShareFile. Typically at home to store files I use an external drive and also password protect my documents through Adobe, if I need to send them securely to someone. This is the only other program I have used to protect my documents and send them securely.

Google Drive is easier to use and more people have this ability to use this program. Citrix works better in the business aspect and you can use it with employees. Google Drive gets into personal emailing and sharing and I only like using citrix for work.
